Sentral Union Station

I stayed for 3 nights for a solo getaway. I got a studio and it was more than enough space. The apartment was clean. I utilized the gym while I was there which was well equipped. I loved the rooftop pool area and the fire pits. There were so many nice areas to sit outside in different courtyards. I would definitely come back. The staff was helpful and you could just text them with any concerns. There wasn’t a television in the sleeping area, which wasn’t an issue for me, but just something to be aware of.

This property is very centrally located and just a couple minute walk to central station. A lot of great restaurant options. The hot tub jets and heat were broken on my stay but overall it was great.

I booked this property specifically for the pool and arrived early to use it only to find it was closed. I am sure there was a good health reason for this but defiantly a bummer. It is not a traditional hotel so there are lots of details to get into the right parking lot, enter through the right doors, codes to use etc.. The first time was a bit confusing, but I would go back again and it will be much easier the second time.

Great property within easy walking distance to the Ball Arena & 16th Street Mall. The property is clean & well kept (mostly-one of the hot tubs had a light hanging by its wires into the water & the other had jets that did not work). The biggest annoyance is the elevator. 2 of the 3 were not functional which made for long wait times. We would have loved to take the stairs, but the doors were locked off to all of the floors but the very bottom floor. Great linens & pillows! You wouldn’t be able to do much cooking as there was only one small sauce pan in the kitchen & no wine bottle opener. Parking was very convenient, but $30some/day. Overall would definitely stay again.

You need to heat the pool; it was cold. The hot tub was too hot. Passcode crazy.

All the amenities of a high end hotel and more. Plus you get a full size apartment and can make your own meals with groceries from Whole Foods on the first floor. Helpful staff, easy check in, great pool, hot tub and gym!

Way different hotel experience! Basically you are staying in an apartment complex. The area is very clean and quiet. There are people at the front desk 24-7. Cole and Joseph were very nice and welcoming. You get a 6 digit code to access the building and another one to use the elevator and get into your room. If you plan on parking on the property, download the Parkade app and put your information in, you have to wait a little for approval. We accidentally got into the garage by someone behind us opening it, we were able to pick our spot right next to the elevator, it worked out well!

The hotel was great, staff was helpful and the space was nice. Parking situation was a little confusing but the front desk people were able to help me, you gotta download an app and pay for parking there since they use a third party for it. Otherwise a great place.

The parking app was very difficult, and the layout and check-in were confusing. The Elevators were also confusing. But everything about the room and the amenities was excellent.

This is an apartment/ Condo complex. While the building is nice there were some pretty annoying things that went on. The parking is confusing, the jacuzzis were barely warmer than the pool, we had difficulty with our TV. The Whole Foods in the same building is very convenient although there wrre a lot of sketchy people hanging outside, so much so that they have armed security inside Whole Foods.The other major issue is that although it looks close to a lot of restaurants, the train station is between the condo and many of the restaurants, again more sketchy people.

Very clean and very security oriented. Parking was on an attached garage which was also very secure. Very nice pool area!

Absolutely perfect location. Pool, hot tub, and common area areas were delightful. The apartment, as well as the grounds were kept very clean and nice. Very relaxing place and the Whole Foods access from the pool area was awesome! My only complaint is we did not have any TV service in the room.

This is not a 4 star property. It is a no frill place, with the best features being its close proximity to Coors Field, Union Station, great dining, very walkable, a good central location for downtown stays. The room though… not clean, not comfortable, just not well maintained. Again.. it’s bare bones. It serves its purpose if all you’re looking for is a place to lay your head. We found our room with crumbs on the floor under kitchen table, used coffee filter and who knows how old the water was that was left in coffee maker, scuffed walls, damaged/old/cheap furniture, uncomfortable bed mattress and pillows, bed was a full/not queen, some of the towels smelled moldy, previous guest used lotion (not replaced in between guests), poor bathroom sink drain, and a horrid sewage smell in the bathroom (which, we were glad it was nice outside, so we could open windows). I’m sure some rooms are nice and clean, but this one we were given, sadly was not a good experience and we won’t ever return, nor will we recommend this property to others. We have stayed in nearly every 4+ star property in downtown Denver. If you’re looking for a true 4 star guest experience with immaculate rooms and property, you’ll want to look elsewhere. If you don’t mind poor cleaning practices and uncomfortable furniture and bed & are more looking for something close to Coors Field/Union Station and don’t plan to stay long, this property might suffice. I just have higher standards & expect more for 4 star.

The amenities were fantastic on the property. Our room wasn't cleaned well before we got there. The bedroom door was broken as well as the shower drain. Everything else was great!

It was a converted apartment & the bathroom was fairly dirty. I left my phone charger in the room & described exactly where it was left & called to pick it up. They said I could come get it & when I came back on site, they said it was "not found." It's frustrating because I stayed there only one night and know precisely where the charger was left and ended up having to buy a worse one around the corner at the CVS.

It was a great location - convenient to Union Station and easily walkable. Now the downsides - There were moths in the unit - maybe due to the patio door being left open before I checked in. Every handle on the kitchen cabinets and the refrigerator were sticky as was the kitchen counter. The floors throughout the unit were also dirty. Many of the kitchen utensils were well worn and need replacement. And the very most troublesome aspect - I asked for some additional coffee packets and they were delivered while I was out and when I returned my door was left unlocked.

The room was great, the hotel was really nice. Solid location. The downside was that the internet signal apparently didn’t reach our room. They said it was a signal issue (but it also sounded like it happened regularly). If you’re traveling for work, beware that you may not have service in your room.

NO TV the bedroom

The location and amenities are awesome. Easy to get in and out (codes for door worked fine). The WiFi doesn’t work, getting any sort of signal past floor 5 (which is where all the condos are) is next to impossible, TV isn’t set up because there’s no internet. The front desk gave me three different Wi-Fi options… none of them worked. I would say that this would be the perfect place if you were in Denver for work or an extended stay. Having a kitchen and a spacious unit is very nice. But you wouldn’t be able to get any work done or relax and watch TV, or call a Lyft/order food from your room. The only other complaint is that the bed seemed smaller than a queen and not very comfortable… with the spacious floor plan I don’t understand why there aren’t larger beds with access to each side…the bed was smashed right up against the window, making it really cold at night. The window shades didn’t work either. So we had to use the blackout curtains for privacy. So much potential, but just missed the mark.

We had NO internet for 5 days even after submitting 2 ticket requests and calling twice. We were not able to use the TV and could not do some work because of no WiFi connection.

Good Central location. Basic room , good common areas. Disappointed that we couldn’t adjust the room temperature to our liking. Automated shades did not work so we were unable to raise the blinds

Rode in on Amtak for the Rockies/Dodgers game. Hotel right across the street from Amtrak and a few blocks from Coors Field. There was a large Whole Foods on the bottom floor with connection to the hotel. Very convient and good pizza. We had a corner room with wounderfull views of the area. Family loved it.

Great apartment, great location. Our 1 bedroom apartment was spacious and clean. Perfect for our 1 night stay. Price was reasonable and so was the cost of parking at $30/night. Walked to Ball Arena and Union Station. Will stay there again for sure.

Clean and well equipped space. Odd layout with the bedroom by the entry door and no windows in there. Water pressure was pretty low. Ultra modern if you like that style. Overall a nice place.

Very unfriendly staff. No room service. Code for the door often didn’t worked. Had to be reset often. Didn’t clean the room for two days. Very very poor communication. Staff said it’s residential that’s why but I booked through Expedia for a hotel. I requested pool view but given city view. Had to complain n then given pool view. Nothing worked properly. No mini bar either. Never never never gonna stay there.

It was great, good location, amazing staff, the parking is a bit expensive and not included in the room price but you get that since you’re downtown!

My recent stay at this property with my friend was a mix of highs and lows. Our check-in experience was exceptional—the staff was professional, friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful, setting a positive tone for our stay. The overnight staff maintained this high standard of hospitality. However, our check-out experience was the complete opposite. The morning staff was unfriendly and seemed either annoyed or uncomfortable with us, which was really odd, but also unprofessional and made us feel unwelcomed. Adding to this, the cleaning staff arrived at exactly 11am, giving us the impression that we couldn't stay even a minute longer on the property. This was especially troubling as my friend, who is disabled, needed extra time to navigate the check-out process. My friend was not offered assistance with the luggage cart, and she had to wait for another guest to open the elevator because our access code was disabled precisely at 11:00 AM. The lack of professionalism and the lack of consideration for my friend's disability was shocking and extremely inconsiderate. Due to this disappointing and distressing experience, I cannot recommend this property to anyone.

The woman at the front desk at night was EXTREMELY helpful. She assisted us in navigating the way to our room which could have been a challenge considering the lateness of the hour. Above and beyond.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. However, check in was unpleasant (afternoon of Tuesday, June 24). Staff communicated poorly and was unhelpful about finding the room and using the codes. Someone at the place who was working at there with the tech staff helped me with the elevator and access to my room. Front desk staff just kept telling me to look at the email she sent me. She did not give me a map of the property - in fact the document she gave me was blank on the back. Front desk staff rarely acknowledged anyone entering or leaving at the place. The exception was evening staff on Wednesday, June 25. Helpful and friendly. The smaller of the two hot tubs was dirty. Gray crud around the water level. The pool was never opened during out stay from Tuesday through Friday. Staff never mentioned the pool closing. The elevators - one worked most days. Most of the time two of the elevators did not work Guests were not told why and this was inconvenient with all the dog owners and dogs. The dryer vents need to be cleaned and are a potential fire hazard. Stand at the pool and look the the dryer vents on the residential side and there is lint covering most vents. Very dangerous. This is all unfortunate because for going to baseball games and art museums this place was very convenient. The Whole Foods next door was great. So many places we would have gone had anyone at the front desk helped us know what was available. The room was great. Bed great. Kitchen great.

The location is excellent. Very convenient to While Foods and Union Station. The room was very nice and quiet. What I did not like was the parking was very confusing and expensive. I spent $55 to park for one night. The signage for the property was terrible. Confusing trying to figure out where to go. I am also temporarily disabled after surgery. If you have a disability, I do not recommend. The doors are heavy and most do not have handicap buttons. When we went to our room to check in everything has a key code and the key code didn’t work. We had to walk back down to the lobby. They thought we went to the wrong tower, but we were in the right tower. Then the front person went with us to the same room we had tried to get into and the key code panel wasn’t working. She originally thought it was the batteries. It wasn’t. It just wasn’t programmed to let us in. So instead of having one room, they put us in two separate rooms down the hall, which sucked because then we had to re-organize our luggage because each one of us had different items in our suitcases. Also, I needed my daughter to help me with some heavier items because of my current disability. Would not stay again.

African American lady working the front desk for check in was extremely rude to not only customers but coworkers as well. People paid for early check-in’s which could not be accommodated and she was extremely rude about it and check-in was also pushed back and she was extremely rude about that as well. We will go elsewhere next time.

The company took no apparent steps to retrieve a valued item that I accidentally left in clear view in the unit as I checked out. The front desk didn't answer the phone. I was able to text a bot that said that it was in contact with housekeeping, and the bot eventually said no item was found. The bot then referred me to a website where I could report a left-behind item, a hopeless task that I nonetheless complied with. All I needed was for someone to go and retreive the object, which is a basic level of service that I expect from a property that holds itself out as a hotel. The automated, minimal level of service this propery offers is a fail

Perfect location for a baseball trip! We took the train from the airport to Union Station then walked across the street to Sentral. The building has amazing amenities including a pool, games room, gym, ect. The Whole Foods inside of the building was great and even had its own elevator for Sentral guests. Coors Field was about a 10min walk from the property. Would stay again.

Perfect place to stay in Denver! Easy access to everything. Train to/from the airport was convenient and the shuttle to Red Rocks was also outside Union Station. The community area at Sentral was incredible and staff were helpful. Bag storage made exploration so much easier before/after our stay.

Excellent home base to explore Denver, especially for baseball (Rockies). The area is very nice and walkable. Absolutely no complaints for Sentral Union Station at all, fantastic property, highly recommend this place!

This hotel location was perfect for our stay. We were able to get around without any issues. Walking distance to Union Station.

To start, we received very detailed instructions on access to the building, room, etc. That was very helpful. The room was very nice and clean. It was set up like a mini apartment. The pool and hot tub area were also very nice. Having a grocery store below the building was very convenient. The train from the airport is also less than two blocks away. We walked everywhere downtown. The location was perfect!

This was a great property to spend a delightful day in Denver. Loved the studio room, the outdoor pool and space. Close to tons of food options and a riverwalk along the Platte. I’d stay here for a whole chill summer if I could!

We really enjoyed our stay here and definitely would stay here again. The location is perfect. Easy walk from Union Station. Great having a Whole Foods next-door. Lots of restaurants and very walkable area. A lot of reviews are negative and I'm not sure why… They mention issues with technology and honestly, everything was great for us. They gave us a 6 digit code at check in. The code works in the elevator, all exterior door doors and the door into the room. It was easy. We used the Jacuzzi every night, and aside from the jets not working, it was really nice. We had a one bedroom unit and it is on the smaller side. It also didn't look anything like the pictures, but it was still nice. I would definitely not recommend going for a studio… Get the one bedroom. Not many pots and pans/kitchen utensils, so I would not recommend cooking anything. But there are tons of restaurants close by to choose from. Great having a washer and dryer. You need to bring your own detergent. We were not very fond of the in room coffee pot. I think it was called a mocha master and we had a lot of issues with it. The little coffee pods that they give you (2) don't work well and it was the weakest, worst coffee we've ever had. We suggest walking a block to Starbucks. We did ask for a couple extra coffee pods to try it again and they never brought them. We didn't make a big deal of it though. Did not use parking-we didn't have a car there, so we can't comment on that. Overall, our stay was great!

This is an apartment building with a portion set aside as hotel rentals. It's in a perfect location, right across from Union Station, less than a mile from Ball Arena, and near just about anything you'd want to do in Denver. There's a Whole Foods on the bottom floor, so we took advantage of their quick meals to reheat in the apartment kitchen.

I do a lot of research to hopefully select the rt place to stay when I travel. I have actually been know to leave a hotel during a trip and move to a new one if I don't like it. That being said, we were very happy with this selection. Location was great. We were in Denver for 5 days with no car. The area was very walkable to Wholefoods, CVS, breweries, union station, a lot of restaurants, Coors field, to the shuttle to Red Rocks, and a lower downtown rental car company. Recommend Sixth rental car company for a day trip. Much better than trying to rent at the airport where we waited in line for 45 min and were only 1/4 way through it, before deciding to give up (we had not prepaid). Sentral is more of a condo complex. We rented a 1 bedroom condo. The building and the unit were very clean, new, and modern. It was nice having a kitchen, unit was quiet, bed very comfortable. Only negative would be bc it was so modern unit had limited warmth and no character. But the pros far out way that!!
