Líbere Madrid Palacio Real

Een gunstig gelegen hotel , alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Voldoende winkels , supermarkt en uitgangsleven in de buurt. Meerdere metro’s op loopafstand , waarmee de luchthaven goed bereikbaar is via de ov. Enige min punt is dat er niet genoeg lockers zijn om je koffer bij eerder aankomen of later vertrek is. Wij moesten bij eerder aankomen , early checkin doen wat ons extra geld koste omdat er geen lockers beschikbaar was. Ook hij het uitschenken moesten we extra betalen omdat we de koffers niet kwijt konden en zelfs dan ( na 14:00 ) hadden we geen lockers dus maar aan de receptie gevraagd of ze onze koffers konden bewaren , wat niet al te gewenst was maar toch werd gedaan . Ik vind dat ze of meer lockers moeten plaatsten of de mogelijkheid geven om de koffers , gratis, in bewaring te nemen .

The property and room were spacious, modern and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really good with fresh fruit, various granolas, teas, bread types, cheeses, meats, tomatoes, olives, yoghurts, etc to choose from. The property is located in walking distance of many sites, which is great. And it is very safe. Do yourself a favor and BRING EARPLUGS! The hotel supplies 1 free pair in the room, but there were 3 of us. Our room was across the Corte Ingles and there was a train & puppet facade which played every hour at the least (luckily not during the night). It was quite loud. There are several free lockers available for suitcases / bags if you need to store your luggage. Please not there are only 4 large lockers for full size suitcases. I was with my family with 3 suitcases. Unfortunately we could only store 2 and were stuck with the 3rd. The good thing was that we could pay a little extra and access our room 3 hours earlier, which was great. Overall the hotel was great, just bring the earplugs :)

Room was very clean. It was centrally located to anything you could possibly need. They have lockers to store your luggage, if you have some time to kill between checkout and your flight. Breakfast available onsite for a reasonable price. We did not have a room like the one shown on website, just one small window, that we had to leave open the whole time, because the climate system was "switched to winter mode", so it only blew hot.

We were promised two queen beds but only got one and a very uncomfortable pullout sofa. Nobody could sleep on the sofa. We also had to sit in the lobby and wait for three hours while they were cleaning the rooms. There was no receptionist and no place to leave our luggage. We wasted three hours of sightseeing sitting inside and guarding our luggage. Complete and total disappointment.

Horrible..horrible…horrible….when you arrive at 3pm you will receive an email if you have internet connection in Spain. That email will contain a code to open the front door. Once inside you will follow a different email to discover your room # and a link to a key app that you must download to open your assigned room. If you have any questions you can submit a message through the app to a person you hope answers in a timely basis. No phone calls. Still reading….. well once inside there is a tiny kitchen, a small bathroom with a shower that you have to squeeze past the toilet to get in. If you have rented a duplex room with 2 levels you will find the steps upstairs are split in half. First step is left foot only and the next step up is right foot only for example. Not sure what kind of steps these are called, but no fun using. Besides all that if you want to check-in 3 hours earlier there is a fee. No option to leave your luggage in a secure area if you arrive way earlier. Want to have your room cleaned daily there is another fee on top of what you paid. So many alacart pricing options and 0 service. You’re welcome Líbere Madrid Palacio Real robots wherever u are.

Room was exactly what was described, and what we needed for our trip. It was compact, but enough space for four people. The location was beyond amazing, with many sights only a few minutes walk from the place. Lots of food options too. Check in was the easiest of the four places we chose to stay, and they even had lockers to store our luggage if flight times were later in the day. Will stay here again!!

Nice, central location and staff was very accessible by messaging system. Great idea to have luggage locker storage available until 8 pm!

Nice secluded apartments near the Plaza Mayor and Royal Palace. Sheets and towels were fragrance free, staff very accessible and able to use lockers prior to airport departure. Will stay again!

Libere in Madrid was our last stop (Barcelona, Santander, Lisbon, Madrid) and was a great property. The overall location is ideal (between Opera and Sol metro stations, very close to Plaza Mayor). The actual corner where the property resides is a little shady and extremely loud at night (close to a couple dance clubs). The room itself was massive and comfortable. The upstairs/bedroom area was hotter than the downstairs which was a little uncomfortable (air conditioning didn't work) but having a bathroom upstairs was great (especially with a treacherous staircase). Check-in was easy given the advanced communication and mobile app. It was odd not having a staff/reception but overall we didn't miss it. The specific room we had could use some maintenance (broken shower drain cover, broken toilet seat, no air conditioning) but nothing that would prevent us from staying at Libere again.

This is a very clean, quiet, and ideally located hotel. There are no staff on site, but it is easy to get into, from the front door and your room door, and it is very comfortable inside the rooms.

Place was dirty, smelled bad, bathroom was unsanitary, conditions of apartment overall were not as expected.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this property. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was subpar. The sheets on all the beds were stained and filthy, which made for an uncomfortable and unhygienic sleeping experience. Given the unacceptable state of cleanliness, I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Positiv: Beste Lage, Zimmer sehr schön groß, alles sauber. Das Frühstück ist ganz ok, das WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei. Negativ: Nachts ist es sehr laut; gegen 1 Uhr kommen mindestens drei Müllwagen im 10-Minuten-Takt. Die Zimmer werden nur gegen Aufpreis (ca. 30 €) gereinigt 👎👎👎. Die Mülleimer werden nicht geleert, man bekommt weder neues Toilettenpapier noch frische Handtücher. Gerade bei einem längeren Aufenthalt ist das besonders schlecht, da es auch keine Putzutensilien für das Bad gibt, sodass man dieses nicht einmal selbst reinigen kann. Man bekommt das Personal kaum zu Gesicht – nur beim Frühstück.

Super clean, nice, comfortable, good A/C. The amenities were perfect for the price. This was our favorite stay of our entire trip.

A pesar de que es un lugar muy céntrico donde se llega caminando a todos los lugares de interés turístico, los alrededores no son los más atractivos. En cuanto al apartamento, debería mejorar la limpieza de las basteras, cortinas y darle mantenimiento a los acondicionadores de aire. Por lo demás, muy bueno.

Clean room.

Property is centrally located and near train stations. Is also close to plaza mayor and many other attractions. The contactless check in /check out was great. They send you a link and after filling out the info they give you a code to get in to the building and room . I did not see any onsite staff. They need to invest a little more in a better sofa bed or add more padding cause you can feel every single spring. I slept there one night with my husband , and it was very uncomfortable, and even my 12 y/o daughter complained. Also, the bathroom was not the cleanest, the curtains from the balcony looked disgusting as well as the walls. I don't mind the noise and I can sleep anywhere, but be mindful that the you can hear everything from outside till very late.

El baño olía a caño muy fuerte y era complicado estar más de un minuto ahí, tuvimos que tapar el lavábamos y usar la cocina para bajar un poco el olor pero aún así hay un problema urgente a arreglar. El ruido de afuera es muy alto tanto que te regalan tapones para oídos, hay mucha construcción, fiesta campanadas autos etc. Las escaleras para el segundo piso están muy peligrosas, la tele no se pudo conectar al network entonces no se puede ver Netflix. El lugar es impráctico e incómodo. Lo único que valió la pena fue el location, muy céntrico. Práctico check in y tener elevador.

It was okay. Average. Ran out of hot water. Room had a log cabin feel with low sloping ceilings. Not comfortable beds. But prompt and easy check in. Will not stay here again.

The apartment is small. The shower is really small and uncomfortable to shower. They have a kitchen but we didn't use it. We prefer go to eat. We enjoyed having a breakfast. For 3 days the place is great. For longest staying I will find different places. The TV never connected, but we didn't care.

The check in process was easy and well communicated. The room was cleaned well. The bad part was the building noises. Going to sleep at night was always a challenge due to how loud the building was. Each night around midnight and 1:00am, there was a large metal crashing noise. There were also noises from other units that vibrated through the walls. It also lacked some conveniences like an electric plug on both sides of the bed and paper towels/napkins in the kitchen (not a huge deal but when you bring home food, and forget them, you kind of expect it to be there).

The entire process was great. I made a mistake and had to modify the reservation and calling customer service prior to the stay was easy and they were able to change the reservation. During our stay, we needed some extra pillows and they were able to accommodate that. The only issues were related to the fact that the unit was a split level loft apartment. This meant that the air conditioning wasn’t able to cool the loft as well as the lower level. Also, the steps are incredibly narrow and short and would not be suitable for older people or people with balance issues.

We had two rooms on the top floor, and I would suggest that if you are taller than 5ft4, you do not reserve these! With the slopes, it is impossible to walk around without bending. The rooms were basic and as advertised. The key for me was the location, we could pretty much walk everywhere. I saw a lot of negative reviews about the noise but it did not bother any of us. In any case, they provide ear plugs in their welcome package if needed. There is NO PHYSICAL front desk - note that this is a virtual front desk which is very responsive via WhatsApp. We saw one of the guests having some trouble entering the building and they were able to reach someone right away. Overall this was a 3.5 for me in terms of the room, and 5 in terms of location.

Please note, this hotel has no physical reception. Everything goes by the Libere app. We had a room on the ground floor located next to the lobby. So you hear every guest coming in and out. The hotel is located next to a club and some bars, so you hear people talking/partying on the streets. If you don’t mind these sounds, this hotel is pretty good, but for us it was too noisy. The room was well equipped, but the bed was too hard to my liking. We ordered breakfast as well during the stay, but would recommend to have breakfast somewhere else. There is not much choice and you get better value for money if you go outside for breakfast (bar Rodilla is just around the corner). However, there are positive things to mention as well. The online communication is pretty good and the app works great. If you need personal assistance, you can call them 24h. We needed it once as the breakfast room was closed. They apologized for this and recommended to have breakfast somewhere else as they couldn’t contacted the person who was running the breakfast room. We were offered to declare the costs and they refunded the cost of their breakfast. So, very good customer service. The hotel is located in the old center of Madrid and every highlight of Madrid, restaurants, museums and the palace is within walking distance. You can even book a free walking tour in Madrid with a guide via the Libere app. Overall, we didn’t had much sleep due to noises, but we had a great holiday after all.

We had a great stay! They never sent us our check-in instructions, so we arrived without a code. When we finally were able to get ahold of staff they were very pleasant! Thank you for a nice stay. :)

Residence con appartamento ben strutturato, posizione perfetta vicino a mezzi di trasporto, luoghi d’interesse, negozi, supermercati e ristoranti. Piccola disavventura con una colazione che durante una giornata del soggiorno non è stato possibile consumare ma ci è stata subito rimborsata. Comunicazione con la reception virtuale lenta, poca presenza di personale. Facilità di accesso grazie all’app. Nel complesso un piacevole soggiorno

Pas de mail recu avant notre arrivée avec les instructions. Pas de réception l'arrivée donc nous etions comme dautres clients bloqués sans acces à notre chambre. 45 min avant d'avoir une personne au telephone pour debloquer la situation. Chambre bruyante mais propre et bien placée.

The apartment is nice and clean. It has all the amenities we need . The only frustrating part is the check in process. Checking in is complicated and asked for unnecessary information . This will be difficult most especially for seniors . When we opened the door we saw two older couples that couldn’t get in. I suggest that you simplify the check in process and one person to at least monitor in the lobby that will help your guests . Check in instructions should be sent a week advance and follow up reminder tagged with high importance. It is frustrating to wait outside and the codes does not work right away . Code numbers are too long . Hard to remember .

Checking in was rather a bother. There is no front desk or receptionists and the front door was locked. I did not receive any prior instructions to enter and all I could rely on is scanning a QR code posted at the front door and register with my registration number and all my details using my phone. Not ideal when you have your luggages, standing in a narrow street and next to busy traffic. Otherwise the stay was fine.

Stayed for 4 nights. Overall, this is a good property to stay in Madrid. Its location is excellent for exploring the city. The property is very efficiently run and the staff at the dining room are very friendly. Due to the lack of visible staff at the check-in area, I had a terrible time to deal with a few unexpected problems.

Hotel muito bem localizado no centro de Madrid e próximo às estações de metrô sol e ópera permitiu o deslocamento para todos os pontos turísticos e as estações de trem que precisamos utilizar em nossa estadia. Apartamento acomoda bem uma família de até 4 pessoas. Se tiver problema de locomoção, não é indicado devido a escada para o quarto. Também não indico para pessoas que sejam sensíveis ao barulho para dormir, pois o recolhimento de lixo reciclável e à noite e os receptáculos são ao lado do hotel. Também como é uma regia de bares, a noite tem barulho entre 24 e 06 da manhã, principalmente aos finais de semana. Café da manhã é bom, os serviços que devem ser solicitados por WhatsApp também foram todos atendidos. Quem tem dificuldade com aplicativos deve evitar o hotel, pois não existe atendentes nele. Porém tudo o que precisamos, fomos atendidos. Para uma família como a minha, o hotel nos atendeu totalmente e eu recomendo muito pela relação custos e benefícios que tivemos.

O quarto estava impecável! A localização perfeita para fazer os pontos turísticos andando e a funcionária, Maria de Jesus, muito solicita, educada e facilitou muito a nossa estadia. Certamente voltaremos.

Location is perfect, you can walk everywhere in the center of Madrid. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Location was great right off grab via and list of dining options however the street is noisy at night as windows are not sound proof. It was fine as we only stayed there one night but it was clean and easy to access.

Location is excellent. Breakfast is fabulous. However the windows are not well- sealed therefore there would be noise coming from the street. The curtain did not work therefore could not use the sofa bed in the living room.

Property was located close to shopping and dining areas. Breakfast was great, room rates was affordable. Water pressure for the shower was somewhat low, we were on the 1st floor, above a restaurant. Somewhat loud from the diners who were hanging out outside. When the restaurant was closing for the night, a lot banging going on. Only dealt with hotel staff during breakfast, as she was checking which room we were in, other than that, most was done online. Quick response though, when I had some inquiries. Will stay again at Libere Madrid Palacio Real if ever in Madrid again.

Bonjour , appartement hotel tres bien situé en plein centre-ville. Un supermarché tres proche pour faire des courses. Le petit déjeuner est tres correct pour le prix (rappel 6 euros). Il y a du fromage et du jambon en salé et beaucoup de sucré ( différents pain, croissant, madeleines, donuts ...) Je recommande cet établissement.

Center of Madrid, love it. The rooms are clean. There is no staff in the facility besides the house keeping. Everything through online communication which I am not used to. The breakfast is minimal, and when foods like ham or fruit pan empty, they don't refill. In the 2nd breakfast the no fruits.

Just to be clear, the fact that it's keyless entry is fine. It's a clean facility. But it's really like an overrated dorm room - and for the money, we just can't give it a good rating. In fact, it's a terrible value. Besides the price, the only big negative is the breakfast buffet. Truly embarrassing.

Very loud outside. You can hear all the noises coming from the street because of thin balcony doors. Quite cold room, if you heat using the AC all warm air goes up of course and downstairs is still cold (February). Also the breakfast is not so reach. There are no warm dishes likes eggs or sausages . In the kitchen no even a knife. Poor amenities
