Great great great front desk crew. Friendly and always had answers to any question and just felt really authentic. Door guy and cleaning staff too. Everyone was super chill. Only thing was no business center. We work remote and needed to take turns in the room bc we both have meetings. But hey it’s a new type of consumer need and sounds like ya’ll will be building that soon. Another thing was no room service. It’s a nice-to have though not a necessity. I really loved our stay. Great locations. Great interior design. Great artist displays. Beautiful gardens.

Amazing hotel, love that it’s far from the Vegas strip but close enough to get there. The perks and credits for the restaurant were great. The pool was amazing and well taken care of. I will definitely be back.

We stayed for 4 year anniversary and they made it as magical as I expected they even gavs us tokens during our stay which allowed us to have discounted or free food for lunch,dinner, and breakfast. This also included drinks the restaurant and staff were amazing next time we go to Vegas we will be staying here again

This is located close to old downtown and a great place to stay to be in close walking distance to First Friday action. The Pepper club is located at the back of the property and really nice place to get cocktails and food. FYI bathrooms do no have much privacy so do not share a room unless you are comfortable with the person possible seeing you in the bathroom!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! I am very sensitive to perfume and pets… Our room was super clean, and the hotel was clean without smelling like fragrance. Amazing! The restaurant attached to it was delicious! We loved that it is not connected to a casino, because we come here to visit friends and not to party or gamble. We will stay here again! Positives: 1) super kind and friendly staff 2) walking distance to restaurants 3) quiet and not close enough to the strip or downtown to be kept awake by music and noise 4)it’s beautifully landscaped and if you like taking pics, there’s so many places for great social media moments 5)clean 6) great coffee in the lobby by a women owned biz I would say the only downsides were: 1) there was no gym (someone said they are going to build one soon) 2) At the restaurant, the music was so loud that we could barely have a conversation! We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner there, and every time of day felt like they were trying to have a rave rather than a sophisticated sit down restaurant. I felt like they could have picked better music for the atmosphere. It was kind of a juxtaposition because the food was super sophisticated and delicious, and the rest of the atmosphere was beautiful. 3) this is being nitpicky, but there was not a shower door on the shower, so the water splashed out all over the floor and we couldn’t enjoy the shower because we were consistently cold from the air blowing in from the lack of door.

Amazing property and even better staff. They were so incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved our room, the food & cocktails in the Pepper Club were fantastic, and again, the staff here from top to bottom, everywhere we went, were beyond top notch. Loved our stay here would absolutely stay again.

Love this place. Close enough to get to strip in short Uber but SO quiet — alway from the craziness on the strip. Appears to be mostly business people. Nice pool area , fantastic restaurant and all the staff really nice.

Enjoyed my stay there, immaculately kept, quiet and very comfortable. Was far enough away from the chaos and the mayhem on the strip which I found very appealing. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff as well.

It was a good property with a nice restaurant but overall needed a little cleaning and fixing. I asked to not be on the ground floor because the area wasn't the safest and they said that because I booked with expedia that they couldn't change my room. The chain lock on the sliding door was broken (and quite frankly you could get in and out even with it on), the door to the room was really heavy and slam shut it you didn't hold it the whole time, there was a dirty washcloth on the patio chair, the sink didn't drain. All little things but overall made it not as nice an experience. On the plus side, the restaurant was nice and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

The best staff! You are greeted whenever you enter the hotel. I was there for five days in a work trip, and I never failed to get a “welcome back” at the end of the day. I do wish there was space in the bathroom to place toiletries. I also find it hard to believe that there have been no mishaps with that stool on wheels; maybe a mat under it would be a good idea. Rooms are kept very clean.

Loved the property, loved our room, very nice. Great view of the pool. Motel is in the Arts Center of Vegas so there's plenty to do. My only problem was we selected this hotel because it was pet friendly. Upon our artival the host told us they don’t usually have dogs there. We were left feeling uncomfortable about staying there because of this. If pets are not welcome, you should change the listing rather than make your guests gmferl unwelcome.

I loved it so much the property is so beautiful The staff was so friendly and informative The only thing is if you have body dysmorphia Your going to hate the bathrooms (low key got me on a diet now) But other than that love love loved it Recommending to friends now

I used to live a block away at the Newport Lofts. It was great to stay at the hotel I saw being built. The hotel was decorated very tastefully, the rooms were modern. The onsite restaurant was great. The only issue (minor) was the bathroom area and how the open glass area albeit partially obfuscated. I get it is very European in design, but something to consider. Overall, I would be happy to go back. The rooms, the hotel and the immediate property was a refreshing change for the Arts District.

The best staff! You are greeted whenever you enter the hotel. I was there for five days in a work trip, and I never failed to get a “welcome back” at the end of the day. I do wish there was space in the bathroom to place toiletries. I also find it hard to believe that there have been no mishaps with that stool on wheels; maybe a mat under it would be a good idea. Rooms are kept very clean.

This property looks very nice but it is quite loud and the blackout shades are not really blackout. A lot of light came in through the shades and under the doors. I think an upgrade to the room doors to help the noise and light would make a huge difference. The hotel staff was friendly but not very helpful. As we were leaving we were carrying our luggage down the hallway and a hotel staffer was standing by the door and didn't even attempt to help open the door for us. The bar did have very good service however and the hotel has a nice look to it. But I don't believe the price was in line with the quality.

This is located close to old downtown and a great place to stay to be in close walking distance to First Friday action. The Pepper club is located at the back of the property and really nice place to get cocktails and food. FYI bathrooms do no have much privacy so do not share a room unless you are comfortable with the person possible seeing you in the bathroom!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! I am very sensitive to perfume and pets… Our room was super clean, and the hotel was clean without smelling like fragrance. Amazing! The restaurant attached to it was delicious! We loved that it is not connected to a casino, because we come here to visit friends and not to party or gamble. We will stay here again! Positives: 1) super kind and friendly staff 2) walking distance to restaurants 3) quiet and not close enough to the strip or downtown to be kept awake by music and noise 4)it’s beautifully landscaped and if you like taking pics, there’s so many places for great social media moments 5)clean 6) great coffee in the lobby by a women owned biz I would say the only downsides were: 1) there was no gym (someone said they are going to build one soon) 2) At the restaurant, the music was so loud that we could barely have a conversation! We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner there, and every time of day felt like they were trying to have a rave rather than a sophisticated sit down restaurant. I felt like they could have picked better music for the atmosphere. It was kind of a juxtaposition because the food was super sophisticated and delicious, and the rest of the atmosphere was beautiful. 3) this is being nitpicky, but there was not a shower door on the shower, so the water splashed out all over the floor and we couldn’t enjoy the shower because we were consistently cold from the air blowing in from the lack of door.

Great great great front desk crew. Friendly and always had answers to any question and just felt really authentic. Door guy and cleaning staff too. Everyone was super chill. Only thing was no business center. We work remote and needed to take turns in the room bc we both have meetings. But hey it’s a new type of consumer need and sounds like ya’ll will be building that soon. Another thing was no room service. It’s a nice-to have though not a necessity. I really loved our stay. Great locations. Great interior design. Great artist displays. Beautiful gardens.

I know for sure that someone had came into my room when i checked in and left. I checked in and usee the bathroom and left out to meet my friends. I had not touched my bed at all, the bed was perfectly made and I did a videonof the room before I left. When i came back to the room around 0400 I noticed thatbmy bed had been tampered with. The log roll pillow was in the middle of the bed, the pillows were rearranged, and the sheet and blanket had been pulled back as if someone was getting in the bed. I am 1000 percent sure that inhaf not once touched the bed prior to leaving so this spooked me. I called to have my room chaged immediately and tooka photo of the unmade bed. After reporting to 3 staff members , management had not attempted to email or call me about the incident. So I called and spoke with a manager, and all im being told is that the key log was reviewed and they didn't see any other entries into my room during the time I left. I then requested if i could come back to the hotel to review the camera activity for my room and my request has been denied 2 times. There still had not been a sincere apology or anything done as far as compensation for this experience. I know for a fact there was entry into my room when I was away at some point because how else would the bed unmake itself? With them not allowing me to review the cameras with them let's me to believe this is true. There was entry into the room while I was gone.

It was a good property with a nice restaurant but overall needed a little cleaning and fixing. I asked to not be on the ground floor because the area wasn't the safest and they said that because I booked with expedia that they couldn't change my room. The chain lock on the sliding door was broken (and quite frankly you could get in and out even with it on), the door to the room was really heavy and slam shut it you didn't hold it the whole time, there was a dirty washcloth on the patio chair, the sink didn't drain. Love this place. Close enough to get to strip in short Uber but SO quiet — alway from the craziness on the strip. Appears to be mostly business people. Nice pool area , fantastic restaurant and all the staff really nice.

This is not The Strip!!! If you are looking for a quieter hotel that is well-located in downtown Las Vegas, this is for you. The hotel is quaint, and contemporary with a good vibe and a fantastic restaurant and bar. Slightly smaller rooms (for Vegas) but nicely appointed and stylish. This hotel is halfway between The Strip and Fremont and you can walk to both in under half an hour. We'll be back:)

We stayed for 4 year anniversary and they made it as magical as I expected they even gavs us tokens during our stay which allowed us to have discounted or free food for lunch,dinner, and breakfast. This also included drinks the restaurant and staff were amazing next time we go to Vegas we will be staying here again

Couples vacation enjoying Vegas without the strip. Loved our stay at the English. We were able to enjoy food and drinks close by all within the Arts district. Hotel was a private escape among the towns lively events. One night was a street festival right outside the hotel and the other was a low rider car club gathering. The hotel had security staff outside all night during the events to help with crowds and security. Hotel staff was attentive when needed and inside the hotels its self was calm and quiet. We left like we had the entire property to ourselves which was a nice experience. During our three days we were the only ones to use the pool. The poolside room elevated our stay and would 10/10 recommend not skipping the rooms with a poolside patio. The pepper club, inside the hotel was our favorite meal all weekend. The atmosphere mixed with the food and drinks made the perfect combo.

This is not The Strip!!! If you are looking for a quieter hotel that is well-located in downtown Las Vegas, this is for you. The hotel is quaint, and contemporary with a good vibe and a fantastic restaurant and bar. Slightly smaller rooms (for Vegas) but nicely appointed and stylish. This hotel is halfway between The Strip and Fremont and you can walk to both in under half an hour. We'll be back:)

Sadly, the attached restaurant closed suddenly a few days before I arrived. Happily there is an excellent Mexican restaurant within walking distance. Hotel front desk staff all excellent and helpful. Housekeeping good not superb; I found crumbs on my floor. Breakfast adequate but heavily weighted toward snacks. A larger choice of fruit would have been great. Air conditioning was so fierce I had to shut it off in the night. Bed and pillow super comfortable.

What a great alternative to the glitzy strip hotels. The hotel is quiet, smoke free, and elegant. Convenient to Fremont Street and a short drive to the strip. No resort fees, parking fees and free grab and go breakfast each morning. Pool area is clean and quiet with plenty of spaces to lounge and enjoy. We really loved it and would stay again!

The hotel is very nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer a wide variety of breakfast nibbles and drinks on the house. It is in the Midtown district…so just be aware that if you are going to the Strip for shows or meals, a car, cab or ride share is required!
