Virkelig dejligt og roligt hotel. Servicemindet og relaxed personale. Jeg havde lyst til at blive længere og drømmer om at komme tilbage.

Otroligt dålig kvalitet sett till prisen, dörrlisten hängde ut från dörren något man kanske förväntar sig från ett två stjärnors motell. Tvn fungerade inte på rummet. Personalen gav ingen service och verkade inte trivas med att jobba där. Frukosten var dålig. Efter första eftermiddagen så bestämde vi oss att spendera så lite tid som möjligt på hotellet då ingenting verkade fungera där. Jag kommer aldrig bo på detta hotellet igen men underbart vinområde så finns massor av bra alternativ så boka bara ngt annat hotell.

The hotel is beautiful a charming former palace with wonderful gardens and very good facilities. Sadly, our stay was overshadowed by problems in our room that were never properly resolved. On arrival, the bathroom sink was clogged and wouldn’t drain. It was fixed, but soon after the tap came away from the wall and started leaking. That was repaired too, though the person who came left the sink dirty. Then that night the bathroom flooded during my shower because the drain couldn’t cope. I called reception very upset, unable to even finish showering. They sent someone to mop up, but brought no fresh towels, didn’t fix the problem, and never offered to move us to another room. At check-out I explained everything, saying how disappointed I was in a hotel of this standard, a room should be in perfect working order. The only reply was “sorry for the inconvenience.” No manager ever came to speak with us. An incredible lack of management. Information for guests was also poor: details about the wine tour and spa were badly communicated, and on our first morning no one mentioned there was an à la carte breakfast menu we only found out on day two. The staff were all kind and polite, but communication was consistently lacking. Such a shame, because the property has real potential.

This is a beautiful new hotel with lovely facilities in a stunning wine estate which is let down by a lack of staff training and the lack of a dedicated concierge. For example: 1) Dinner in the Western restaurant. Our 3 main courses and a side arrived over an hour apart from first to last. 2) When we asked at the front desk for a recommendation for a wine estate to visit/tour (not an unusual question for a hotel in the wine area) we were met with blank stares and the information that the wine sommelier (?) was on his day off and there was no information they could give us. This should have been information that front desk staff were trained on providing. However, we enjoyed the rooftop pool, the rooms and the library bar - all of which were lovely. We would also recommend it is considered making some of the areas child free at certain times e.g. the library bar during the evening.

Beautiful property and excellent amenities . Strongly recommend staying here if visiting Kakheti . We did wine tasting and it was good Restaurants served delicious food with lots of veg options .. even streamed FIFAon large screen which was a lot of fun .
