The hotel has a beautiful structure. The room was big and clean, but needs some refreshing. The shower was very small and water was going everywhere. We had a private pool but it was not heated and felt too cold as there was no sun in the afternoon. The gym was clean but was not well equipped especially for people targeting weight lifting. The big pool was heated and nice. The private beach was lovely and idilyc with separate areas for kids and adults only. Cooktails and food were extremely expensive and we could see people were avoiding to consume because of that. Night entertainment is poor and it's a pity that the beach bar closes at 6pm. It would be great if the beach bar was open during the night and if prices were more reasonable. The food in the buffet is average. I wouldn't take the half board option again. Even if there were many families with small kids it didn't feel crowded. The hotel has potential to be much better than it is with some improvements.

This place has the best beach in the area by far and great service all around. There is a kiosk on their private beach where you can get a ride to Spinalonga Island. It's super convenient, fast and if you have at least 2 people it's the same price as the big, crowded boats out of Plaka or Elounda and it's private so you can come and go as you wish. If you have 4 people (we shared rhe ride with another couple) it's the same price as the big boats. Food and service at Makris and Blend is really super great but otherwise the main buffet restaurant is good but not incredible. Our king room with a private pool was very spacious and comfortable. Check out and check in was easy and the staff was wonderful. We also enjoyed the spa very much! Lots of kids/families so it can be active/loud but they try to set aside spaces for adults as best they can. I still think it's better than an adults only resort mainly for the great beach. It is sooo nice compared to any other one we visitied. There is really no reason to leave. Amazing views of the island from here, too.

Amazing stay. We had a wonderful time as a family with a 3 year old. The beach area was great, lots of beds, shade, calm water and areas for older kids to fish. Great pool area with shaded shallow kids pool. Entertainment shows for kids and music performances as well. Large rooms, lovely bathroom amenities and cot/sofa bed options for kids. Breakfast & dinner buffet was very good quality and variety. Staff everywhere were great and friendly. On site restaurants were of really high quality and some lovely Greek wines on the menu. Is set on a hill so lots of hills but golf buggies can take you around. Area around hotel is quiet and lovely villages of Plaka & Elounda a few mins drive

We stayed at Domes of Elounda for 4 nights/5 days. We used the family pool, kids club and had dinner at all of their restaurants. The service was excellent. Every staff member we came into contact with was professional, pleasant and consistent. It was the perfect all inclusive resort and we only left to do a little shopping. I highly recommend this resort.

Domes was an excellent family holiday destination. Firstly the staff were all incredible, they really couldn't do more for us. The Villa we had, with a pool, was spacious and lovely. The restaurants on site were fantastic, the beach was great, with excellent Watersport options and a short 5 min boat ride to Spinalonga. A short walk to the gorgeous Plaka was a great plus, with its shops, restaurants and beautiful coves to enjoy a dip in. A drink at Isla's followed by a snorkel in the sea. Overall a wonderful stay, highly recommended.

We visited Domes of Elounda with our 8 month old baby and from the moment we arrived it was amazing. It's so peaceful and serene, the pools are heated and the perfect temperature for a baby and the sea was crystal clear and so inviting. Every member of staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay, and they were all amazing with my daughter. It was our first time travelling with a baby and we felt so welcome. There was a cot and high chair in our room when we arrived and high chairs and cutlery/plates/bowls for kids at every restaurant. 10/10 would recommend!

Stunning location with wonderful staff and service. The beach is tranquil with fantastic views of Spinalonga and the perfect place to relax. All of the staff go out of their way to help you have the perfect holiday. Only feedback would be to bring your own or buy tennis balls if you play as the balls from the hotel either get taken / lost ... with the balls left being too bad to play. Also... we did a photo shoot with the inhouse photographer... which was amazing! Her shop is downstairs in the basement and very easy to miss if you dont happen to go to the spa! Would be lovely to have this advertised! Otherwise... the PERFECT holiday. Massive thank you to all of the staff.

Our stay at Domes of Elounda was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on making every moment of our stay perfect. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and well cared for. The beach was absolutely stunning—crystal clear waters, soft sand, and a peaceful, private atmosphere that made it feel like our own little slice of paradise. We spent hours lounging and swimming, enjoying the incredible views and calm sea. The food was a true highlight. Every meal was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Cretan and international flavours. Whether it was the breakfast buffet or the à la carte dinners, everything we tried was delicious. The variety and quality were consistently impressive. The accommodations were immaculate. Our suite was spacious, modern, and very well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that made our stay even more comfortable. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless throughout our visit. Overall, Domes of Elounda exceeded every expectation. Établissement calme et idéalement situé pour se reposer et profiter des alentours, le mobilier est design mais certains éléments pourraient être renouvelés car commencent à fatiguer. Le resort en lui même est peu commun, prévoir de marcher ou d'attendre la navette pour aller d'un endroit à un autre. Idéal pour 3 ou 4 jours à deux ou en famille.

We arrived at night but received a room upgrade from garden view to sea view which was very nice, however the room did smell like it was previously smoked in. It seems as though we were on the older side of the resort that was renovated. There is a newer side of the resort as well (on the other side). The property is huge with lots of amenities (shops, restaurants, food trucks, tennis, games room, amphitheatre, bars). Nearby there are 3 places I would recommend. 15 min walk to the east side of the island to a small town, 45 min walk to the west side - town of Elounda or a taxi ride to Agios Nicolaus where there are many shops and restaurants. All very beautiful and very fun to discover (especially at night). One thing I had been curious about was what was included in food that I didn’t see online if you have food included in your stay - it’s either a nightly buffet for each person included or if you decide to skip the buffet and go to one of their restaurants it is a 20 euro credit per person for the restaurant - very worth it even if you go one time to their buffet Overall food was very good. One downside was the about of kids at the resort - we didn’t realize but apparently they advertise this hotel to families so every time we were at the buffet, there would be kids screaming on either side of us. As much as they have adult zones, either they are full or kids end up being there anyways. This was a bit of a let down for the beautiful atmosphere that they had.

Hervorragend ausgestattet. Alles vorhanden, die Pool Villen sind klasse. Um Pfingsten eben sehr viele Familien mit Babys und Kleinkindern, entsprechend ist es in den Restaurants laut und bzgl. Service,Sauberkeit und Auswahl am Buffet stoßen sie an ihren Grenzen.

This resort is a very special place. It has as its backdrop the singularly gorgeous Elounda Bay but in addition, it has a remarkable group of staff members who make every moment at this property feel custom. We stayed at a “Luxury Residence” with a private pool, which was nothing short of amazing. It allows privacy to regroup/recharge/and enjoy precious family time. The food at each of the three dining experiences we enjoyed was absolutely stellar! We rarely choose to eat on property at resorts, often finding the food subpar and choosing instead to explore the area. After trying one on property restaurant, (Blend), it was so delicious that we then tried (Makris), which was just as impressive resulting in a third on property experience at an authentic Cretan Bbq at Core. WONDERFUL! I highly recommend a stay at this property. It is just over an hour from Heraklion airport, but it is well worth the travel!

We stayed at a “Luxury Residence” with a private pool, which was nothing short of amazing. It allows privacy to regroup/recharge/and enjoy precious family time. The food at each of the three dining experiences we enjoyed was absolutely stellar! We rarely choose to eat on property at resorts, often finding the food subpar and choosing instead to explore the area. After trying one on property restaurant, (Blend), it was so delicious that we then tried (Makris), which was just as impressive resulting in a third on property experience at an authentic Cretan Bbq at Core. WONDERFUL! I highly recommend a stay at this property. It is just over an hour from Heraklion airport, but it is well worth the travel!

The hotel has a beautiful structure. The room was big and clean, but needs some refreshing. The shower was very small and water was going everywhere. We had a private pool but it was not heated and felt too cold as there was no sun in the afternoon. The gym was clean but was not well equipped especially for people targeting weight lifting. The big pool was heated and nice. The private beach was lovely and idilyc with separate areas for kids and adults only. Cooktails and food were extremely expensive and we could see people were avoiding to consume because of that. Night entertainment is poor and it's a pity that the beach bar closes at 6pm. It would be great if the beach bar was open during the night and if prices were more reasonable. The food in the buffet is average. I wouldn't take the half board option again. Even if there were many families with small kids it didn't feel crowded. The hotel has potential to be much better than it is with some improvements.

This place has the best beach in the area by far and great service all around. There is a kiosk on their private beach where you can get a ride to Spinalonga Island. It's super convenient, fast and if you have at least 2 people it's the same price as the big, crowded boats out of Plaka or Elounda and it's private so you can come and go as you wish. If you have 4 people (we shared rhe ride with another couple) it's the same price as the big boats. Food and service at Makris and Blend is really super great but otherwise the main buffet restaurant is good but not incredible. Our king room with a private pool was very spacious and comfortable. Check out and check in was easy and the staff was wonderful. We also enjoyed the spa very much! Lots of kids/families so it can be active/loud but they try to set aside spaces for adults as best they can. I still think it's better than an adults only resort mainly for the great beach. It is sooo nice compared to any other one we visitied. There is really no reason to leave. Amazing views of the island from here, too.

Amazing stay. We had a wonderful time as a family with a 3 year old. The beach area was great, lots of beds, shade, calm water and areas for older kids to fish. Great pool area with shaded shallow kids pool. Entertainment shows for kids and music performances as well. Large rooms, lovely bathroom amenities and cot/sofa bed options for kids. Breakfast & dinner buffet was very good quality and variety. Staff everywhere were great and friendly. On site restaurants were of really high quality and some lovely Greek wines on the menu. Is set on a hill so lots of hills but golf buggies can take you around. Area around hotel is quiet and lovely villages of Plaka & Elounda a few mins drive

We arrived at night but received a room upgrade from garden view to sea view which was very nice, however the room did smell like it was previously smoked in. It seems as though we were on the older side of the resort that was renovated. There is a newer side of the resort as well (on the other side). The property is huge with lots of amenities (shops, restaurants, food trucks, tennis, games room, amphitheatre, bars). Nearby there are 3 places I would recommend. 15 min walk to the east side of the island to a small town, 45 min walk to the west side - town of Elounda or a taxi ride to Agios Nicolaus where there are many shops and restaurants. All very beautiful and very fun to discover (especially at night). One thing I had been curious about was what was included in food that I didn’t see online if you have food included in your stay - it’s either a nightly buffet for each person included or if you decide to skip the buffet and go to one of their restaurants it is a 20 euro credit per person for the restaurant - very worth it even if you go one time to their buffet Overall food was very good. One downside was the about of kids at the resort - we didn’t realize but apparently they advertise this hotel to families so every time we were at the buffet, there would be kids screaming on either side of us. As much as they have adult zones, either they are full or kids end up being there anyways. This was a bit of a let down for the beautiful atmosphere that they had.

Absolutely incredible hotel! A real treat with the most stunning views across the water to Spinalonga. The private beach is beautiful and the whole property is just fantastic, as are the staff who could not do any more to help or make your stay perfect. The breakfast is also one of the best we’ve had! The village of Plaka isn’t a long walk and has nice restaurants whilst Elounda is 10min in a taxi. The onsite restaurants are fantastic, especially Topos 1910. Our apartment was also perfect and the interior design of the hotel is beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We were given an inaccessible room with many, many stairs and outdated furniture, and it was nothing like the room shown in the photos when we made the reservation. We approached the reception to change the room, but every day they told us it was “under review,” and they didn’t manage to move us to another room, claiming the hotel was fully booked. This was extremely upsetting because this was not the room we had booked. The standard was much lower, and on top of that, it was completely inaccessible, with many, many stairs. We clearly noted in the reservation that we were arriving with two babies and a stroller, and they completely ignored that. It made things very difficult for us and was very upsetting that they didn’t take it into consideration. I do not recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Domes of Elounda was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on making every moment of our stay perfect. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and well cared for. The beach was absolutely stunning—crystal clear waters, soft sand, and a peaceful, private atmosphere that made it feel like our own little slice of paradise. We spent hours lounging and swimming, enjoying the incredible views and calm sea. The food was a true highlight. Every meal was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Cretan and international flavours. Whether it was the breakfast buffet or the à la carte dinners, everything we tried was delicious. The variety and quality were consistently impressive. The accommodations were immaculate. Our suite was spacious, modern, and very well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that made our stay even more comfortable. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless throughout our visit. Overall, Domes of Elounda exceeded every expectation. Stunning location & lovely staff who very kindly moved us to a large villa. Our luggage took 4 days to arrive courtesy of Lufthansa and the hotel staff were super helpful in supporting us. Thank you & we will definitely return Kind regards!

Domes was an excellent family holiday destination. Firstly the staff were all incredible, they really couldn't do more for us. The Villa we had, with a pool, was spacious and lovely. The restaurants on site were fantastic, the beach was great, with excellent Watersport options and a short 5 min boat ride to Spinalonga. A short walk to the gorgeous Plaka was a great plus, with its shops, restaurants and beautiful coves to enjoy a dip in. A drink at Isla's followed by a snorkel in the sea. Overall a wonderful stay, highly recommended.

We visited Domes of Elounda with our 8 month old baby and from the moment we arrived it was amazing. It's so peaceful and serene, the pools are heated and the perfect temperature for a baby and the sea was crystal clear and so inviting. Every member of staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay, and they were all amazing with my daughter. It was our first time travelling with a baby and we felt so welcome. There was a cot and high chair in our room when we arrived and high chairs and cutlery/plates/bowls for kids at every restaurant. 10/10 would recommend!

Stunning location with wonderful staff and service. The beach is tranquil with fantastic views of Spinalonga and the perfect place to relax. All of the staff go out of their way to help you have the perfect holiday. Only feedback would be to bring your own or buy tennis balls if you play as the balls from the hotel either get taken / lost ... with the balls left being too bad to play. Also... we did a photo shoot with the inhouse photographer... which was amazing! Her shop is downstairs in the basement and very easy to miss if you dont happen to go to the spa! Would be lovely to have this advertised! Otherwise... the PERFECT holiday. Massive thank you to all of the staff.

Le resort en lui même est peu commun, prévoir de marcher ou d'attendre la navette pour aller d'un endroit à un autre. Idéal pour 3 ou 4 jours à deux ou en famille.

It's super convenient, fast and if you have at least 2 people it's the same price as the big, crowded boats out of Plaka or Elounda and it's private so you can come and go as you wish. If you have 4 people (we shared rhe ride with another couple) it's the same price as the big boats. Food and service at Makris and Blend is really super great but otherwise the main buffet restaurant is good but not incredible. Our king room with a private pool was very spacious and comfortable. Check out and check in was easy and the staff was wonderful. We also enjoyed the spa very much! Lots of kids/families so it can be active/loud but they try to set aside spaces for adults as best they can. I still think it's better than an adults only resort mainly for the great beach. It is sooo nice compared to any other one we visitied. There is really no reason to leave. Amazing views of the island from here, too.

Amazing stay. We had a wonderful time as a family with a 3 year old. The beach area was great, lots of beds, shade, calm water and areas for older kids to fish. Great pool area with shaded shallow kids pool. Entertainment shows for kids and music performances as well. Large rooms, lovely bathroom amenities and cot/sofa bed options for kids. Breakfast & dinner buffet was very good quality and variety. Staff everywhere were great and friendly. On site restaurants were of really high quality and some lovely Greek wines on the menu. Is set on a hill so lots of hills but golf buggies can take you around. Area around hotel is quiet and lovely villages of Plaka & Elounda a few mins drive

We arrived at night but received a room upgrade from garden view to sea view which was very nice, however the room did smell like it was previously smoked in. It seems as though we were on the older side of the resort that was renovated. There is a newer side of the resort as well (on the other side). The property is huge with lots of amenities (shops, restaurants, food trucks, tennis, games room, amphitheatre, bars). Nearby there are 3 places I would recommend. 15 min walk to the east side of the island to a small town, 45 min walk to the west side - town of Elounda or a taxi ride to Agios Nicolaus where there are many shops and restaurants. All very beautiful and very fun to discover (especially at night). One thing I had been curious about was what was included in food that I didn’t see online if you have food included in your stay - it’s either a nightly buffet for each person included or if you decide to skip the buffet and go to one of their restaurants it is a 20 euro credit per person for the restaurant - very worth it even if you go one time to their buffet Overall food was very good. One downside was the about of kids at the resort - we didn’t realize but apparently they advertise this hotel to families so every time we were at the buffet, there would be kids screaming on either side of us. As much as they have adult zones, either they are full or kids end up being there anyways. This was a bit of a let down for the beautiful atmosphere that they had.

Absolutely incredible hotel! A real treat with the most stunning views across the water to Spinalonga. The private beach is beautiful and the whole property is just fantastic, as are the staff who could not do any more to help or make your stay perfect. The breakfast is also one of the best we’ve had! The village of Plaka isn’t a long walk and has nice restaurants whilst Elounda is 10min in a taxi. The onsite restaurants are fantastic, especially Topos 1910. Our apartment was also perfect and the interior design of the hotel is beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Domes was an excellent family holiday destination. Firstly the staff were all incredible, they really couldn't do more for us. The Villa we had, with a pool, was spacious and lovely. The restaurants on site were fantastic, the beach was great, with excellent Watersport options and a short 5 min boat ride to Spinalonga. A short walk to the gorgeous Plaka was a great plus, with its shops, restaurants and beautiful coves to enjoy a dip in. A drink at Isla's followed by a snorkel in the sea. Overall a wonderful stay, highly recommended.

Our stay at Domes of Elounda was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on making every moment of our stay perfect. The beach was absolutely stunning—crystal clear waters, soft sand, and a peaceful, private atmosphere that made it feel like our own little slice of paradise. We spent hours lounging and swimming, enjoying the incredible views and calm sea. The food was a true highlight. Every meal was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Cretan and international flavours. Whether it was the breakfast buffet or the à la carte dinners, everything we tried was delicious. It has as its backdrop the singularly gorgeous Elounda Bay but in addition, it has a remarkable group of staff members who make every moment at this property feel custom. We stayed at a “Luxury Residence” with a private pool, which was nothing short of amazing. It allows privacy to regroup/recharge/and enjoy precious family time. The food at each of the three dining experiences we enjoyed was absolutely stellar! We rarely choose to eat on property at resorts, often finding the food subpar and choosing instead to explore the area. After trying one on property restaurant, (Blend), it was so delicious that we then tried (Makris), which was just as impressive resulting in a third on property experience at an authentic Cretan Bbq at Core. WONDERFUL! I highly recommend a stay at this property. It is just over an hour from Heraklion airport, but it is well worth the travel!

The hotel has a beautiful structure. The room was big and clean, but needs some refreshing. The shower was very small and water was going everywhere. We had a private pool but it was not heated and felt too cold as there was no sun in the afternoon. The gym was clean but was not well equipped especially for people targeting weight lifting. The big pool was heated and nice. The private beach was lovely and idilyc with separate areas for kids and adults only. Cooktails and food were extremely expensive and we could see people were avoiding to consume because of that. Night entertainment is poor and it's a pity that the beach bar closes at 6pm. It would be great if the beach bar was open during the night and if prices were more reasonable. The food in the buffet is average. I wouldn't take the half board option again. Even if there were many families with small kids it didn't feel crowded. The hotel has potential to be much better than it is with some improvements.

The amenities are not up to the standard expected for the price paid. Swimming pool was too cold for kids . Loud music at the gym making it impossible to enjoy despite calling reception several times. Tennis didn’t offer any balls to play. But I would add that the staff was very kind and did their best to accommodate our stay

The staff is outstanding. Everybody is nice and you feel a wish to « go the extra mile ». You want something they don’t have, the find a way. Absolutely no waiting time with the buggies as the staff are so numerous. We had such a lovely time. The resort is indeed kid friendly however the « adult zones » create a bit of a weird feeling and there are not a lot of animation like some resort. You don’t go there for the animation, you go there for the extreme serenity provided by the beauty of the place. Tips: ask for a buggy tour around the hotel. You should see everything, views are outstanding!

Another massive plus for families is how well staff cater to your needs. Not only is the kids club an amazing resource, but even down to how staff across all restaurants are so good and friendly with children. The beach club is also super chic, food is great there too. The water at the beach is fresh, but so beautiful, amazing blues. I would recommend if you are staying in the eastern part of Crete - this is the place to be, it's a resort feel without being to commercial and touristy feeling - a great balance of luxury and reality, given the area it's located in (situated between the small village of Plaka and larger town of Elounda)

Das Hotel war super, alle waren sehr freundlich. Lediglich der Zimmerservice kam nicht sehr oft in unser Zimmer, Espressomaschine (was ich gut finde) wurde gar nicht aufgefüllt. Gründe dafür konnte ich nicht herausfinden. Ich finde die Getränke im Hotel sind etwas teuer, aber für das was angeboten wird, ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gut.
