Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel et nous en gardons un excellent souvenir. Tout d’abord, un immense merci au personnel, qui a été d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Chaque jour, ils prenaient le temps de nous demander si tout se passait bien et nous donnaient de précieux conseils pour découvrir la région. Nous nous sommes sentis accueillis avec beaucoup de bienveillance. L’hôtel est également idéalement situé : suffisamment proche du centre pour pouvoir tout faire à pied, mais assez éloigné de l’agitation pour profiter de nuits calmes et reposantes. La chambre était parfaite, avec une literie très confortable, et nous avions chaque jour des bouteilles d’eau à disposition, une attention très appréciable. Mention spéciale pour le petit-déjeuner : les gâteaux faits maison étaient absolument délicieux et la vue était splendide. Commencer la journée dans un tel cadre était un vrai plaisir. Nous avons sincèrement regretté de devoir partir, tant nous nous sommes sentis bien dans cet hôtel. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir et le recommandons sans hésitation !

Really really nice hotel. Pool and nice staff. Only thing would be that it’s a little bit outside the ”city center”. But that did not bother us (with a toddler in a stroller). 10 min walk to old town, we got to meet locals and had a genuinely nice time here. We also took taxi when needed. The staff helped us book taxis and they arrived within 4-5 minutes.

Menta hotel was the perfect way to start our trip to Crete! From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and knew we had chosen the right place. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The large terrace was perfect to unwind. Breakfast was exceptional. Everything was fresh, delicious and prepared with great care. The homemade cakes were absolutely amazing and something we looked forward to every morning! The breakfast lady was so sweet! What really sets Menta hotel apart is its people: George and his business partner are fantastic hosts, kind, warm and funny. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend Menta Hotel to anyone visiting Rethymno! Kevin, Alexandra and their 2 children. P.S: our son told me when we had just left the hotel: can we please call George? :-)

This hotel was truly amazing. It was our favourite stay on Chania. The staff are so kind. They recommended wonderful spots for travelling near Rethymno, and for delicious food in town. The breakfast was delicious! Everything was fresh, healthy, and homemade by the lovely staff. There was so much variety. One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. They also offer food and drinks at their on site cafe. The smoothies were SO good, especially poolside. The amenities are top tier. From the big pool, gym, and even a spa. The room was so clean, modern, spacious, and the view from the balcony of Rethymno was stunning. The parking on site is very helpful but fills up quickly. My only regret is not staying here longer than two days! I would love to come back, and I highly recommend Menta City for a relaxing, welcoming and overall amazing stay.
