Veranda Sea View Villa, Walking Distance to Beach, By ThinkVilla

Villa not as described - owner late giving us access - dirt no real grass - no landscaped grounds - generally run down with rusty shipping containers on site - owner living in basement of villa which was not disclosed until we arrived - not enough furniture for 8 guests - apartment not a villa - shower cubilces not walk-in showers, not allowed access to whole driveway, no landscape grounds,swimming pool not suitable for adults as very small -would definitely not recommend this property -

The villa can be described in superlatives. The pictures don’t do it justice. Particularly the pool area and garden. The plants are luscious and really well maintained with a lovely hibiscus red flowering bush. The pool is brilliant and well maintained every morning by George the concierge who is really helpful and on hand to assist and answer any queries. The views from the spacious main balcony are amazing both day and night when all the lights of the village are twinkling it really looks like fairyland. Really important is to note there is a downward path to the village which only takes5 mins. Bit steep but doable. Must turn left on road and it’s 200 metres. Do not turn right which is the mistake we made as there is a similar path but not easily walked.All bedrooms have air conditioning. Three of the bedrooms have drawers,hangers and hooks for clothes. Master bedroom is spectacular with walk in wardrobe,en-suite and balcony. There is also a whirlpool bath. The kitchen is well stocked with modern dishwasher, oven and huge fridge freezer. Agia pelagia beach is sandy, slightly narrow and gets deep quickly so ball games are a no no. Fodele beach wide and sandy about 5miles away. The village has loads of restaurants but limited supermarkets , sell basics but not great on fresh meat. Buses run every hour into Heraklion. Highly recommend this villa and the surrounding area.

First Class villa. Extremely clean, well equipped, comfortable, spacious, totally amazing views over the town/bay, relaxing and great A/C. Just perfect for a family or group of friends. Great/safe for kids. It has everything you need. The large private pool and BBQ area are truly fantastic. Beautiful town and beach just a 5 minute walk away where you will find everything you need. Diver’s Club Crete is great for all your PADI requirements. Excellent Host. Giorgos was extremely helpful prior to our visit. He arranged everything that we needed locally often at short notice. Nothing was too much trouble. He was available 24/7 on WhatsApp to assist. Superb Host who has thought of everything you will need and goes the extra mile to ensure a great holiday from start to finish. Thank You Giorgos !

Lovely property - perfect for families or groups of friends! Pool in the garden is so excellent to have, and the town/beach are only a 5min walk away. We grilled outside nearly every day and ate dinner on the lovely terrace. Host was extremely friendly and accommodating. The beach and town nearby are great. Highly recommended!

We stayed in this beautiful villa for 10 days. It was even more beautiful than advertised. Giorgos was always available and responsive to everything we needed.
