Piekenierskloof Mountain Resort by Dream Resorts

Was not quite what I expected. Located literally in a mountain pass with traffic driving past. The room doesnt have a fridge. It has a cooler but what good is that if you want to pack some items of your own to stay properly cold. You are given a kitchen sink in your room. A microwave would also be a good option. For what you pay to stay, it is not worth it. The restaurant has a limited menu. The location is remote and far from any shops. There is a Spar in Citrusdal, a 10 minute drive away. We stayed almost a week. Asked housekeeping to change our pillow cases once. They did not do this. This was the only request from housekeeping. The Spa is excellent and privately owned. That made up for the disappointment in the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay very much, i will tell my friends and family about the place, everything was excellent. Thank you

All was good with the exception of breakfast where the choice was very limited. Fresh fruit was finished although only 9am. Also items of hot food were not replenished until we asked and we had to ask for them.

Great hotel with a fantastic location. Dinner was extremely good and well worth the price. The steak was one of the best I have eaten.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel, wo wir uns direkt wohlgefühlt haben. Wir werden nächstes Jahr, wenn die Blumen blühen, wiederkommen. Frühstück war super, einfach das gesamte Ambiente war wunderschön.
