The parking for the hotel was awful. There was no designated parking place for hotel check in. They should have given us a mqp of the place. Breakfast was to be sandwiches and we had to be on the road before they opened at 7. The place seemed clean, but confusing.

The only thing I didn't like was how crowded the pool area was. It seems like you should have exclusive hours for people with a room. There was so much going on, my mom who is elderly, wanted to go and she had a good time, but there were almost no shaded spots unless you got there early and got a table. The seating wasn't good at all because of all the people. A quiet few hours in the morning for elderly or little kids, or guests staying at the resort, before the sun gets too hot would be such a great incentive. Also, the Boogaloo (or whatever it was called) restaurant people were not accommodating, helpful or made any attempt to remedy the fact that we had missing items from the meals I picked up to bring back to our room. My mom and I were both already in our pajamas when I realized they didn't put our salads in the bags and they didn't offer to comp the missing items or bring them up to the room - nothing. And the meal was almost $100 including a tip! I was a server for several years, and it was just really bad customer service, especially with the amount of money I paid for our meals. But the people at the check-in were amazing and friendly and extremely patient. Overall, the rooms were really clean and nice. The beds were so comfy, my mom and I slept the best we'd slept in years! It's a great place and I'll definitely stay there again sometime.

We called ahead to make sure there was a pool, because the website stated it did. I wanted to double check because this was a trip for my son's birthday. We traveled over 4 hours after confirming that there was indeed a pool, checked into our room and got ready to swim, just to walk the hallways in our swimsuits and be told the pool has been closed for MONTHS. My son was extremely disappointed, and I am very irritated. We would have happily stayed at a different hotel if we would have been told when I originally called.

Great stay. Rooms were clean and pretty nice. Beds were a little too stiff for my part. But my wife enjoyed them. Wish there was a pool/hot tub.

Woke up covered in bites this morning. Only to find the room next to mine being treated for bed bugs and the gal in the hallway asking us if we checked our beds cause two rooms she had been moved to had bed bugs. I have clusters of bites on my body and now throwing away everything I took on on this trip and hoping not to giving them a ride back to Colorado!

There was supposed to be recent renovations to fun city however you can’t tell.. looks dirty and ran down since it did 3 years ago! Hallway to room and room reeked of mildew and smoke. Hucks Harbor the same water park attached to Fun City Resort has also not been renovated! The water park and pool both inside and out was packed beyond capacity! Definitely a drowning risk and health risk . Dirty water and bathrooms and horribly expensive! There needs to be a separate water park that is exclusively to only be used by paying hotel guests! And no breakfast is included in your stay! The only plus was the front desk upgrading us to the catfish resort for a small fee.

The property was very clean! We loved that there was so much to do without even leaving the resort! The food options were great, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful if we had a question! And for being a hotel geared to Families we didn’t hear kids running the halls and screaming. It was rather quiet! We will definitely be back!

Kids running in the hall and screaming most of the night while trying to sleep. Beds were terrible felt like you were sleeping on a piece of plywood. No water pressure in the shower. Will never stay there again.

Wi fi is not stable, had to log on multiple times per day. Cleaning people were always smoking just outside the entrance, would think management would have a dedicated area for them to take their smoking breaks.

Checking in was easy and the staff was nice. Our toilet wouldn't flush but they fixed it right away. Room was clean. Beds weren't super comfy and our room was warmer than I wanted. The air did not work well in our room but our friends room was nice and cold. We went bowling later that night and the lady working there seemed to hate her job and anyone that came in and disturbed her. I was disappointed to find out the the ball pit was not included in our stay even though it's in the hotel area. So cost us an extra $30. No free breakfast. Youd think with how much it cost to stay here that something would be included in your package.

The AC in the room wasn't working well enough for us to stay comfortably cool at night, but otherwise I was pretty happy with everything. Everything in our room felt VERY clean, which was also nice.

Stayed here for just one night. Hotel rooms are very nice, but we had to park a long ways away from our room. This is a great place for families to stay with kids as there is plenty of entertainment with the onsite arcade, bowling, go karts and water park, in season. But if you want a quiet place to get a good nights rest I would choose another option. Too many kids running around in the halls with no parental supervision.

This hotel is connected to the casino which was awsome. My only issues was with the air conditioner. The room was either to warm or to cold. The AC is an older model. But it worked. I wouldn't let that stop me from staying there agian. Restaurants and game room for kids are right down stairs. I'll stay there next time I go to Burlington.

We decided to give this property another chance after a horrible stay last year where the pool was closed(Called prior to booking to make sure the pool was open for my son's birthday) And was let down yet again. For the price, you get 2 uncomfortable beds, flat pillows, no option for breakfast, and staff who congregate by the doors and blow smoke at your family when you're walking out. I'm truly appalled at the way staff handle themselves at this establishment. We will not vacation here any longer.

Only gave 4 stars because the pool was under maintenance. And my 7 year old was heart broken. We knew the ballocity was under construction. Very clean property I always seen someone cleaning something so that was reassuring! Front desk were super nice. One girl working at the Allies Place was rude maybe having an off day but we witnessed her upset banging her head on something. Kinda off putting. But overall it was a nice place!

Very clean property I always seen someone cleaning something so that was reassuring! Front desk were super nice. One girl working at the Allies Place was rude maybe having an off day but we witnessed her upset banging her head on something. Kinda off putting. But overall it was a nice place!

Hucks Harbor. 2 days. First day was great. Staff was attentive and helpful. 2nd day. An older gentleman got in the pool with his I’m assuming wife. He tossed her a bottle of beer. Picked her up and carried her across the pool and stood there reading the rules(one of which said no food or beverages). Him and his ‘wife’ laughed it off and had a full on conversation with a lifeguard while holding and drinking his bottle of beer. Passing it between him and his wife. The room was great. I don’t like that it didn’t have a safety latch. Just the digital lock and a deadbolt.

Staff motivation is lacking. Waited 15 minutes at check-in due to all 3 front desk workers taking a smoke break. The worst part was after they were notified there was a line forming at the desk, they stayed out there another 5 minutes. Lazy house keeping also. I asked the maid twice if she could come and refresh our room with new towels, beds made, etc. Never showed up. On Friday night there was a person sleeping on a bench in the corridor. He was either very drunk or homeless. Probably wandered over from the casino. But, why would hotel security allow this when this is supposed to be a family friendly resort??

The property was very clean! We loved that there was so much to do without even leaving the resort! The food options were great, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful if we had a question! And for being a hotel geared to Families we didn’t hear kids running the halls and screaming. It was rather quiet! We will definitely be back!

The parking for the hotel was awful. There was no designated parking place for hotel check in. They should have given us a mqp of the place. Breakfast was to be sandwiches and we had to be on the road before they opened at 7. The place seemed clean, but confusing.

Stayed here for just one night. Hotel rooms are very nice, but we had to park a long ways away from our room. This is a great place for families to stay with kids as there is plenty of entertainment with the onsite arcade, bowling, go karts and water park, in season. But if you want a quiet place to get a good nights rest I would choose another option. Too many kids running around in the halls with no parental supervision.

Convenient location. I like that there is entertainment nearby as the casino is really the only thing going on in town. The rooms are clean and updated.

Checking in was easy and the staff was nice. Our toilet wouldn't flush but they fixed it right away. Room was clean. Beds weren't super comfy and our room was warmer than I wanted. The air did not work well in our room but our friends room was nice and cold. We went bowling later that night and the lady working there seemed to hate her job and anyone that came in and disturbed her. I was disappointed to find out the the ball pit was not included in our stay even though it's in the hotel area. So cost us an extra $30. No free breakfast. Youd think with how much it cost to stay here that something would be included in your package.

The Fun City Resort is a perfect place for family vacations with children of any age. Clean comfortable rooms although not very spacious. The only downside is the amenities are at a separate cost so the tab adds up quickly. Several restaurants on site with great food varieties so guests don't have to leave the property. Customer Service was Amazing!

Stayed on a Sunday night. There were no breakfast options Monday morning, the arcade didn’t open until noon. That was a bit inconvenient with kids. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Overall stay was great. Everything was reasonably priced. There was so much to see and do. My only critique would be our breakfast. It was overpriced, toast and potatoes were cold. The eggs had so much salt and pepper we couldn't eat them. Next time we'll go elswhere for breakfast.

The only thing I didn't like was how crowded the pool area was. It seems like you should have exclusive hours for people with a room. There was so much going on, my mom who is elderly, wanted to go and she had a good time, but there were almost no shaded spots unless you got there early and got a table. The seating wasn't good at all because of all the people. A quiet few hours in the morning for elderly or little kids, or guests staying at the resort, before the sun gets too hot would be such a great incentive. Also, the Boogaloo (or whatever it was called) restaurant people were not accommodating, helpful or made any attempt to remedy the fact that we had missing items from the meals I picked up to bring back to our room. My mom and I were both already in our pajamas when I realized they didn't put our salads in the bags and they didn't offer to comp the missing items or bring them up to the room - nothing. And the meal was almost $100 including a tip! I was a server for several years, and it was just really bad customer service, especially with the amount of money I paid for our meals. But the people at the check-in were amazing and friendly and extremely patient. Overall, the rooms were really clean and nice. The beds were so comfy, my mom and I slept the best we'd slept in years! It's a great place and I'll definitely stay there again sometime.

Staff were all very nice and said hello every where you went. The manager of the hotel Rachel was extremely kind and helpful. Clean. Updated rooms. Food and wait staff were amazing. Overall great time!

The Waterpark had been closed for many months but it was not clearly explained. My daughter was very disappointed as this was her golden birthday trip. The staff was not apologetic or sympathetic. I had called with specific questions about the Waterpark, and they insisted that never happened. They were dismissive and condescending. The amenities that were operational were clean and enjoyable though.
