A very clean spacious room. All staff friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast with reasonably priced evening meals available. The only negative was the street noise coming from the youth of Cairns on Friday and Saturday nights through until 4:00 am. If staying on these nights see if you can get a room not facing Abbott St.

Had a great stay, comfortable and clean, above the casino so we had a bistro available until late and the location was perfect for our tours and for dining options at the marina.

The room was fine as was the location but we arrived after traveling from central Victoria and all we wanted was an early night. Unfortunately there was a band playing nearby that was so loud we could not sleep. We tried closing the doors and shutters and asking staff for earplugs. They could only supply one pair and were woefully inadequate anyway. The band played until 1.00am and I was told that this happened Saturdays and Fridays. So if you are planning to stay there you might want to avoid those days, I don’t understand how a hotel can offer full priced accommodation for a room that is not fit for purpose.

Great location and clean well appointed rooms. Issue is the noise, my room was on level 3 and right above the casino entrance which meant being woken at 4am on Friday and Saturday nights and 2am on other nights as casino guests left shouting and making noise. Asked if I could move rooms but told my room type only available on levels 3 and 4, which is strange as my friend paid exactly the same amount and room listed as same but was on level 7.
