Positive is that it was easy to get in and out of London as the station is next door. No parking nearby. The room had bits falling off, and paint dripping all over the floor. Kettle was broken and wouldn’t stop boiled, so I burnt my hand.The curtain was hanging off the rail and let the sun in! Complained to the hotel via Expedia, the hotel didn’t care and was unfriendly to the Expedia rep.

Kettle was broken and wouldn’t stop boiled, so I burnt my hand.The curtain was hanging off the rail and let the sun in! It was a nice room , unfortunately parking is not so great at the location is near at bus lane . The price of the room was very expensive just for an overnight stay . Unfortunately unbroken to myself someone was knocking at my door late at night and when I opened the door no one was as there very annoying and unprofessional .

There's no parking. The check in was awful. The man was so unclear and spoke fast. He was quite rude and I've ended up being charged twice. The room was tiny and had paper cups.... A Travelodge or premier inn is better than this. The shower was ok.

The bar & restaurant were closed. The rooms are small and the bed is large and comfortable but built in against the wall so you are only able to get out on one side. Very economy, and not Hilton Standard. Travelodge or Premier Inn would be a better option.

Staff unprofffesional cold sausage bacon beans hash browns. Out of date yoghurts dated 25/6 I stayed 28/6-30/6. Toaster but no bread. Security who are more concerned about watching videos on his phone. This isn’t 3 star maybe there pretending to be 3 star. Staff can’t be bothered room are far too small can never classed as accessible friendly no space to put your bag apart from on your bed. Health and safety hazard. Surely this doesn’t meet the safety standards. Staff don’t know how to use chrome cast function or can’t help you. Unfit to be open more foreign staff (cleaned running around ). No they don’t have parking like they claim. Parking is in the hear by shopping centre brewery or Liberty For £123 go to premier inn or travel lodge

On this occasion I had a room with a window which made so much difference! It really is a very good and comfortable hotel with good amenities in a plumb location. The unmanned ground floor entrance is still a bolt hole for undesirables to break from the weather and skanks logging onto the wifi for free! So therefore I can’t give it 5 stars just yet.

Great stay this hotel is perfectly situated next to Romford Station, the rooms are modern, clean and simplistic but effective in design. This is deal if you just need a place to sleep but doesn't have space to work. Its a modern walk in shower (none of the old bath in shower), slow release toilet seat, sensible sized open bin, great water pressure and temperature and 4 pillows on the bed. Wifi was strong, food was nice and reasonably priced. Its a perfect hotel for overnight stays or a few nights if you need the basic amenities.

Room was clean with the basics provided, including cosmetics in the bathroom, it was perfect for our needs. Air conditioning worked well but the tea / coffee was lacking milk, only two little cartons for two people for a 20 hour period.

The room I booked was the queen bed with balcony. The first room given was dirty ( shower ) and a smell. Was given a new room which was freezing cold. There were no side table, kept placing my stuff on the floor nor was there a chair. Still in shock paying £149 for for such experience i was shock to know this hotel was by hilton, I've stayed at hilton before and never experience this. Still shocked.

First time staying the a Spark hotel and am amazed! I wish there were more! Really friendly greeting when entering the main door and was shown to reception to check in. The rooms are beautiful, a really comfortable bed and no outside noise. Spotless throughout the room. Breakfast was an added bonus with a friendly and helpful team.

Good -Check in v easy, staff smiling and friendly. I didn't notice any street noise despite being in busy town centre(although I was at the back of the hotel) . ASDA just downstairs for supplies. Good number of sockets/USBs. Towels nice and fluffy and bath towel a good size. Bed comfortable. Shower powerful. Neutral - HUGE TV for the room size (I didn't use it, but if you like watching TV, I'm sure it would be great). Bad - Room was tiny. Standing at the end of the bed there was barely enough space to fold clothes without knocking my arms against the TV (and I am a short, small woman). Tiny worktop space too small to put a laptop on and use a mouse, so had to balance laptop on my lap in bed and use a book as a mouse mat. Bathroom bin had no lid - women using sanitary products would prefer a lid. I initially thought that the grout in the shower was meant to be a greyish colour, but then spoted that it was uneven and there were a few places where it was obvious that it had started off as white. (no mould though). Overall Premier Lodge/Travelodge would give a larger room for same price. It was fine for one night, but for longer stays the shortcomings would be less tolerable.

They had a problem with a guest who decided to set the fire alarm off at 1:30am, alarm on so long that guests congregated at reception. This was followed by a fire alarm test at 8am, there was no warning that there could be a drill. I complained but was told- “I can only apologise” “Not our fault guest misbehaved” “Can’t control unplanned fire test”

I checked in, within 30 minutes all of the electricity went out (across the whole hotel), no tv, no restaurant, staff had no idea of any local restaurants to recommend. Came to check out they could not provide me with a receipt nor could they comment about a refund

What can I say! Without question the most comfortable nights sleep outside of a 5 star hotel, in a hotel I’ve ever had! Super clean and ascetically pleasing on the eye. Location was perfect for the railway station, the high street amenities. Bit of a strange entrance but hey ho!
What can I say! Without question the most comfortable nights sleep outside of a 5 star hotel, in a hotel I’ve ever had! Super clean and ascetically pleasing on the eye. Location was perfect for the railway station, the high street amenities. Bit of a strange entrance but hey ho!

The hotel is in a great area with lots of shopping and dining within walking distance. The rooms are small but perfect for a solo traveler. The staff were friendly and super helpful- from helping me get dressed into an outfit requiring extra hands to directing me to stores. Would stay again.

Great stay this hotel is perfectly situated next to Romford Station, the rooms are modern, clean and simplistic but effective in design. This is deal if you just need a place to sleep but doesn't have space to work. Its a modern walk in shower (none of the old bath in shower), slow release toilet seat, sensible sized open bin, great water pressure and temperature and 4 pillows on the bed. Wifi was strong, food was nice and reasonably priced. Its a perfect hotel for overnight stays or a few nights if you need the basic amenities.

The room was rather small but I was a solo traveller so was great for me. Very nicely decorated and clean, shower room was beautiful, lovely pink wash basin! Receptionist was friendly. I got off the Tube and the Hotel was right next door, perfect

I checked in, within 30 minutes all of the electricity went out (across the whole hotel), no tv, no restaurant, staff had no idea of any local restaurants to recommend. Came to check out they could not provide me with a receipt nor could they comment about a refund

The bar & restaurant were closed. The rooms are small and the bed is large and comfortable but built in against the wall so you are only able to get out on one side. Very economy, and not Hilton Standard. Travelodge or Premier Inn would be a better option.

Staff unprofffesional cold sausage bacon beans hash browns. Out of date yoghurts dated 25/6 I stayed 28/6-30/6. Toaster but no bread. Security who are more concerned about watching videos on his phone. This isn’t 3 star maybe there pretending to be 3 star. Staff can’t be bothered room are far too small can never classed as accessible friendly no space to put your bag apart from on your bed. Health and safety hazard. Surely this doesn’t meet the safety standards. Staff don’t know how to use chrome cast function or can’t help you. Unfit to be open more foreign staff (cleaned running around ). No they don’t have parking like they claim. Parking is in the hear by shopping centre brewery or Liberty For £123 go to premier inn or travel lodge

Room was a little smaller than expected but adequate, no cafine free coffee in the room but I'd brought some. Bathroom included an amazing shower. Breakfast was disappointing although eggs are made to order not no eggs available without asking, what was there i.e. bacon, sausage etc eas cold. Overall disappointing for a major chain hotel

First time staying the a Spark hotel and am amazed! I wish there were more! Really friendly greeting when entering the main door and was shown to reception to check in. The rooms are beautiful, a really comfortable bed and no outside noise. Spotless throughout the room. Breakfast was an added bonus with a friendly and helpful team.

Jättesmå rum, gick knappt att röra på sig i de, problem att få plats med väskor och oss själva. Rummen var dock fina i sin helhet men utrymmet var ett problem. Området känns lite osäkert kvällstid men bra med närhet till pendeltåg. Hotellet uppger att det finns parkering men den ligger flera hundra meter bort i ett allmänt garage, undvik om du har bil.

When we arrived, we were assigned a nice, but fairly compact room that was neat-looking at first glance. Bed linen was definitely clean and comfortable, however upon entering the bathroom there was urine still left unflushed in the toilet bowl and a towel on the floor that we are unsure if it had been used or not. I went to Reception to resolve this, whilst the person I stayed with remained in the room with our belongings. The Receptionist was very helpful and acted in a cordial manner, no complaints there! Unfortunately the member of cleaning staff spoke to the other person in the room quite rudely and insinuated that there was nothing wrong with the room to him, furthermore sending a photo to the Receptionist of a clean toilet and shower area, which was not what we had been greeted with. The cleaner asked if we were simply wanting to change rooms - whilst we had just hoped for a clean room in the beginning, size was not a concern. Reception expressed this would not be possible as there weren't many rooms available that had been marked 'clean' still at nearing on 4pm. On top of this, this morning before checking out, my other party was packing his bags on the floor of the room and noticed thick dust, a vape, and a drinks can under the bed among other things. So despite this room being marked clean it is clear the standards are not what you'd expect from this franchise. Breakfast was nice and selection of drinks were satisfactory.
