The moment we opened the door to the room we saw cockroaches. They have a kitchen but no plates, glasses, spoons or pots, and the towels are so hard they scratch your skin.

You get what you pay for. It was fine for a night which is all I needed as I had an early out of town appointment to go to. The shower head didn’t have a mount and lots of wear in tear throughout the room. However, despite the cosmetic look, it felt clean. There was also a big thunderstorm while I was out of the room for dinner. When I came back, there was a big puddle under the AC unit. But it worked and slept well that night. So again, if you need a cheap place to stay and can put up with some small quarks- this is a solid place to stay. Plus you have a full kitchen and several places to eat near by. However, if you can’t stand an old facility and expect everything to be perfectly, you will be disappointed.

The kitchen was not having any utensils or pots. The stove is an induction heater which does not accept any type of pots to cook. If the hotel could have mentioned these details in their website, the tenant should have been prepared to get specific pots and utensils for cooking arrangements. There are lot of tenants smoking around the property that was causing a lot of suffocation and smells for non-smoking and decent family people.

Coming from Fayetteville NC comparing the kitchenette this property has a top rating , walkable to restaurants , gas station will need uber/lyft for grocery store or shopping centers ( if not driving or just don’t want to drive around )

Everything was clean, neat, relatively modern. the bathroom shower was beautiful, location is great! was easy check in and check out. I felt safe on the property especially staying alone as a single woman! I will deff consider staying here again if i am ever in the area!

The lady at the check in desk was very welcoming and pleasant when we arrived. The room experience, not so much: When we got to our room, we noticed it was dirty and run down. The room was infested with roaches. I called the hotel ahead of time to make sure toiletries were in the room and was told yes. No toiletries in the room so we had to go out and buy our own. Our first night there we had a couple of people knocking on the door at different times looking for someone. They finally went away and we didn't have to call the cops. We barely got any sleep the whole time as people were hanging outside the rooms, drinking and making noise until the wee hours. We did not feel safe at all.

In the first room we were given, the air wouldn’t go below 72° so we asked for help. He assured us at the front desk that it would go down by itself. But none of the buttons worked. So we requested a different room and the AC definitely worked in that one! In both rooms you could see drink rings on every surface, thick dust on top of the fridge, mold or hair in the shower, and in one room the toilet was wobbly. One bed was sunken in the middle and I had to work hard to keep from rolling. I finally had to just move to the other bed. We spent $150 to stay one night in a dirty room. I’m not bougie by no means but I do think the room should be clean at the very least. We won’t be staying here again!

We saw one live and two dead roaches in our room within the first 15 minutes of arriving. However, the front desk staff immediately offered a full return and was apologetic. Do not recommend .

This place was pretty disgusting. The sheets were dirty, so I put on my own blankets. The floor was filthy and the bathroom had pink mold. Would not recommend.

The walls were paper thin & could hear everything happening outside of the door & next door. The bed was unbelievably uncomfortable, with every move it clunked. The bathroom faucet when on the cold leaked all over the floor.

The lobby staff was jovial and polite, the property is a bit rundown but everything was very clean and functional. The bed was comfortable but squeaked in part due to a metal base i would guess, which is preferable as bed bugs are less likely.. Tv worked well and so did the AC. The water pressure and temperatures were fantastic

Place was nicer than I expected. Room was recently redone. It was cheap but bed was nice. It’s a motel 6 so expectations were pretty low and I was pleasantly surprised

Stay was good. The room had what was needed. Hot water, good water pressure in the shower. Bathroom was a bit small/cramped but it worked. Beds were comfortable. I’d add an extra pillow or two (there were only two per bed)…and I’d add a heavier blanket or cover. (The one on the bed was very thin … almost like having two sheets).

When I come to town this is one of the few places I’ll choose to stay…the hotel is close to everything and the rooms are always nice and clean…Jim at the front desk is fantastic!! He’s incredibly helpful and if need be he is quick to help with anything you may need😁

The staff was amazing. Felt like family felt like you were coming home at the end of the day. Everybody’s super nice and housekeeping to the front office. I will definitely stay here again in the future when I come to Wilmington.

This is our second time staying here. We came last year and it went a lot smoother. We booked this room online as reserve now and pay later. About two hours from the destination I get an email that all three of our rooms were cancelled. They tried to run a card I used last year which they had no permission to do. I call the hotel and they assured me they would hold our rooms until we arrived. We arrive and pay cash for all three rooms and get receipts. Then our last night there the owner decides to call me at 11 pm to tell me that one of our rooms needs to have a credit card on file because it has not been paid for. Not only that, he was beating on our doors at 11 pm to collect. Ridiculous. I will never go there again. Besides that the tv was frozen because someone logged into their home accounts and then left. The hotel had no idea how to fix it. The fridges barely got cold so our food was sweating to death.

My fault for not realizing this was a MOTEL. Bad part of town. Really noisy all night long- like NYC noisy; lots of sirens too. Very strong smell of cleaning agents, but floors and bathroom were filthy. Pictures were deceiving- looked like a nice kitchenette, but very cramped. Would not stay here again.

Location was perfect wasn’t in a super busy area lots of good restaurants near by and was close to downtown with out all the traffic. Our room was maintained very well our only issue was the dog area was really small other than that the service was phenomenal

I was oblivious to the fact this was a Motel 6 property, and they have their own reputation, so the fault is mine. Jim at the front desk could not have been more kind and helpful, as the owner and maintenance staff. I wasn’t prepared for the lack of amenities within the room’s themselves. The highlight of the stay was the staff only, real budget accommodations. Location was convenient to downtown.

I took a last minute trip and needed a quick spot to stay for less than 48 hours. It wasn't the best place I've ever stayed but not the worst. Area surrounding is a little shady. But, the bed was comfortable and the guy working the desk overnight was really friendly. It's also minutes from the airport and beach.
