Fullerton Manor Inn

The room was clean but was freezing in there. The heat was not coming out very hard, and the room was very cold. The pool was closed and they never put online that the pool was going to be closed for a few weeks. Was very disappointed because that was one of the main points why we booked this hotel for our son's birthday weekend.

I don't like the breakfast The pool water is cold

The pool was freezing cold. They said they turned the heater on but the water temperature never changed. My two young girls were not happy. Also was not informed there wasn't an elevator as my my mom needed one to get to the second floor.

Friendly staff on arrival. fast checkin. Other staff during the stay were not friendly. One guy was playing on his phone when we walked in, and he didn’t lift his head to look up at us, that is, until we said good night. No security at night. Secure FOB to enter the building from the front and back. Back was dimly lit. Access to the building from the car park was good. Staff was leaving when we arrived from dinner. He didn’t stay around to make sure we got inside. Very unfriendly. We had to say good night to get a response; otherwise he would have passed us straight. Breakfast staff was helpful. Need variety of fruit serving. We got cold pineapples. Add apples or low-sugar fruit for diabetic persons; or even bananas, they’re cheap. Eggs, and broccoli were cold. We didn’t take the sausage. Needed a microwave to heat up breakfast. Limited hot beverage options. Only coffee and Chinese tea was available, already made. Some tea bags and hot water would be nice for choices. The bathroom was clean, but there was a long hair on the bathroom tub; It wasn’t mine. The TV came on, but no volume. The volume control on the remote wasn’t working. AC worked well but noisy. The pool was open at 2:30pm to 10:30pm. We stayed one night and returned from dinner at 10:30pm; which meant we did not have access to the pool the next morning before checkout. Disappointed. No Threadmill in the exercise room. We went out to walk on the street. These concerns are a deterrent for future stays.

The rooms were clean, but one of our bed springs were broken making it not comfortable. Also we booked because of the pool. And the indoor pool was very cold. They turned off the heating for the pool.

Breakfast was horrible, hot tub was out of order, pool was freezing cold, we will not be back.

The indoor pool was freezing. The wall of the pool was dirty. We can feel that the humidity in our room was high.

My stay was fine. The property could use some maintenance. The hot tub was empty with clear traces of rust and the water in the pool is too cold to enjoy it. The rooms are not super clean as there were dead bugs on the carpet by the window but beds are very comfortable and super clean. Bedrooms are quiet and the staff is very friendly and kind. Breakfast is very basic with the best food being freshly made waffles. Things that could be changed: proper maintenance and attention to detail; for instance if a room is booked for 4 people, they will clearly need more than 2 towels and a small piece of soap. Overall we slept well and the property has potential, but we will probably not be visiting again as at the current conditions it’s pricey for the service provided

Poor ventilation throughout, particularly in basement for breakfast. Towels were dirty at check in. Room was not cleaned or serviced during the day. Breakfast starts late at 8:30 am and swimming pool won't open til 2:30 pm.

The water did not drain very well, the screen at the balcony was broken, the curtains had some holes. And the bathroom had some dust- not cleaned throughly

The beds and pillows were very comfy! The place could use a deep clean. The breakfast was boiled eggs, sausage, vegetables, cereal, waffle, toast, yogurt.

We booked the room without reading other reviews. We had a small spot of blood on the sheets. We had a half eaten sub under the bed. The bathtub was clogged with a mound of hair. The hotel didn’t use air conditioning in the halls or main area. The pool table was $30 per hour. The breakfast wasn’t even breakfast. Hard boiled eggs, sausage and some frozen vegetables and fruit. The staff didn’t speak much English. There were no dressers for clothes. It was a shared microwave and toaster. The pool opens at 2:30pm for some stupid reason. Breakfast is from 8:30-10:30 which is very inconvenient. There was no SportsNet or TSN to watch the Jays game. The hot tub wasn’t working. There was no jacuzzi. It was severely overpriced for what it was.

Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Rooms and property were well taken care of. Staff was friendly.

It was very old and not kept up very well. It also had a very bad musty smell

The property is old so a funky smell comes with that. I did find mold on the ceilings in the stairwell and hall. The breakfast was lackluster and nothing to be desired, just glad it came with the stay. The shower was clean but didnt work well and dont expect it to be hot. Overall i wouldnt stay there again i would pay a bit more and get something much nicer.

Staff were nice..rooms clean...hallway carpet a little old and musty smell but room was clean...

Hotel was just awful, dirty (hair in the bathroom, good on the carpet) paint was peeling from the doors, panels falling from the wall exposing electrics. Couldn’t wait to leave

There was water damage around patio door, carpet not cleaned and the room smelled terrible.

This was our second stay at Fullerton. We loved the pillows - firm and very comfortable. The light on the table between the bed was not and could not be plugged in - there was no outlet anywhere near. Over all a good place.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this place has been kept despite it being an older property. The decor was outdated but overall very clean, had all of the essentials, reliable internet and a smart TV. Great for short trips with lots of food options within walking distance.

Couldn't shower, the selector didn't work, the water ran the complete time and wouldn't shut off. No hot water. The vanity sink would barely drain so you couldn't have the water run for very long. The rib would fill up will water as well and drained very slow. Told the front desk person and it and the answer was just "ok" when checking out. Won't go back, will spend a little more money and get a place that you can actually take a shower.

Very clean, comfortable beds. Hotel is older, slightly worn but ok for the price. NO bed bugs experienced.

Room was a good size; however, it was dark. Pillows need replacing. Had to put a shirt over the cases before using. No outlet for charging electronics.

This hotel is in a convenient location with excellent Italian restaurant across the street (La Strada). The employees were very nice and there was plenty of parking. The furniture in our room was dated and there were a limited number of bath towels (2) and no bath mat. The room had a good shower with real hot water. The room also had a nice TV but we had trouble because it was all streaming and we could not find a regular channel to watch like NBC or a ball game. The air conditioner was really noisy so we had to turn it off to sleep. Otherwise our room on the back side was quiet. There were no outlets by the beds to plug in my CPAP machine or my phone except behind one bed so we had to pull out the bed to get to the outlet.

Spacious and quiet

The AC/heater didn't work, the couch was broken. One of the bed sheets had blood spots on it. Washroom was very clean, the Jacuzzi was also very clean. The pool water was extremely cold, also the pool are would be freezing closing duiring winter. It's definitely not a heated pool. My room didn't come with a ice tub for the room, it say the hotel was under reservation for 6 month. This hotel was extremely outdated, definitely not sound proof. I was disappointed, but made the best of my trip.

The property was about average. However, my stay had successfully been completed for over two weeks and yet a pending (deposit hold) remains on my credit card. Also note, the staff assured me a final receipt would be e-mailed. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive a final receipt. When I reached out to the hotel to confirm the receipt was e-mailed, I was then directed to contact Expedia since I booked through a third party to receive the receipt. Just plain unprofessionalism.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to visit.

Property has potential if maintenance and upkeep became a priority. Receptionist was too busy watching videos on his phone and didn’t bother to acknowledge people. We literally waited infront of him and he ignored us and my wife and I couldn’t believe it. Went to use pool and hot tub. Water was really cold and hot tub was out of service.

When we arrived, we had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk — no one was there, which was very inconvenient. There was also a very strong and unpleasant smell throughout the hotel that ruined the first impression. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. The options were limited to eggs, sausages, bread, yogurt, canned pineapple, tea, and coffee. There was no variety, and everything looked cheap and unappetizing. The sausages were clearly spoiled — we felt sick afterward. The canned pineapple tasted bad and was not fresh. When I went to request an iron, towels, and an ironing board (none of which were in the room), I had to walk around the hotel for about 5 minutes trying to find someone — again, no one was at the front desk. On the positive side, the room itself was clean, and the hotel’s location was convenient. Other than that, we were very disappointed and would not want to stay here again.

When I checked in, I asked that my room be cleaned, new towels and the bed changed as we were staying two days and we paid 60.00 more for the second day as it was a Saturday then we did for the first. I was assured after each of my three requests that as long as I put the maid clean room on the door, that there wouldnt be a problem. Again said I am just making sure that it will be cleaned. I left a 5.00 tip in the envelope that was conveniently left for tips. Came back to the room and nothing was done except clean towels... and tip was gone. I spoke with the "young" woman who just kept saying there was nothing she could do, cleaners have gone home. And conveniently the supervisor was in Toronto. The complimentary coffee wasnt even refilled and when asked on the 2nd morning, we were told that the k cup would be there when the maid came to clean. We only stayed 2 nights. Will NOT RECOMMEND. Also to my surprise we had to leave a 100.00 deposit in case there were damages. Still waiting for that to be returned. I took pictures of the damages that were already there incase they tried to blame us for it.

Clean and quiet, close to all kinds of restaurants and bars, and only a few minutes from the falls. The pizza place across the street is great. Would stay here again.

Not a new place but clean and comfortable in a great location if you have a vehicle. Cheaper than most places in the area.

A good spot to visit the niagara falls, an easy stay

On a bus route to the Falls which are nearby but away from the crowds. Building has a country manor appearance despite being on a main street

Very clean room. Parking was available. Very friendly staffs. A bit far from the fall though. You cannot walk from the hotel to the fall. But it was worth considering how crazy busy the fall area is and how dirty most hotel rooms are near the fall.

the carpets could use a change, the scent of the lobby is full of chlorine because of the pool but the beds were clean and comfy and you have a bus stop just in front of the property and just 10 mins to the falls by car and you have many restaurants around the property

Nice place to stay. Fairly convenient to everything we wanted to see. Should have taken advantage of the Wego transportation since there's a stop right in front of the hotel. Could've avoided all the traffic congestion around the Falls as well as paying more than we wanted for parking. Didn't take advantage of the indoor pool but it looked nice. No elevators which made it a bit difficult for my husband since he's partially disabled but we managed. Staff was really polite.

The room was very clean and quiet, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the free breakfast was mediocre at best, hard boiled eggs, steamed veggies, toast, yogurt cups, cheerios, apple juice, sausages and waffles with corn syrup instead of maple syrup. We ended up opting out of breakfast the second morning and going to the all you can eat buffet nearby. There were only 2 outlets that were usable and one of them wouldnt stay plugged when we wanted to charge our phones. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The pool was refreshing and well decorated. Unfortunately the hot tub was empty and unusable. Overall a good place to stay for a decent price. They ask for a refundable deposit of 100 dollars that you get back 5 days after you checkout, so something to keep in mind when booking.

Quaint and cute. Cheap! Wish the swimming pool was a little warmer and the hot tub was working. Wish there was a better selection for breakfast.

The breakfast service was terrible. They did not have enough food for the residence. They ran out of eggs they ran out of sausages they didn’t have enough food for half of the occupants for the day. Otherwise everything else is OK.

Location was away from falls. Free parking, near highway. Room was shabby, worn with dim lights, no toiletries no safe. Reasonable breakfast but attendant was rude. For a cheap motel this was ok. expedia rating was highly inflated.
