The Vue Express @ 39th Street

Frukost var ok i amerikanska mått, dock bara 2 bord att äta på. Rummet funkade bra då vi bara var 2 pers ( 4 som det står=nej), lätt uppdatering för hotellet, fixa några krokar för handdukar i badrummet, någon hylla med lådor i hallen så det finns någrot förvaringsutrymme, ta bort gamla telefonen, mindre bord mellan sängarna.. det var väldigt lyhört både utegångsförbud och innestående och kallt vid fönstret . Positivt ligger nära småbutiker som aldrig verkar stänga , tvättställe bara lämna in kläder o hämta ( öppet 24 h) kostade ca 21$ för 3 kg, tvättat, torkat o väldigt bra vikt. Mc Donalds o kines resturang o andra ca 400 m och sen tunnelbanan 500 m 36:e, alla tåg som går förbi stannar hör, bra att kolla om ni ska boka hotell. Så totalt sett helt ok ställe att boka.

Had to get a room change because the bed sheets wasn’t clean. The second room was no better. The wash cloths had hair on them, the bathroom door was hanging off the frame and the room in all could have been cleaner.

Room felt neglected. Room was dirty upon checking in, dirty stain on toilet, gum on the shower floor, condom wrapper next to sink in the bathroom. Hallways had an unbearable odor that would leak into the room. Horrible stay and I can confidently say that I would NOT recommend staying here. If possible cough up the extra $50 and stay at a chain hotel as this was the worst hotel experience I have EVER had.

I think this was the smallest two bed hotel or motel room I've ever seen. Had to squeeze by along the wall and end of the bed. And no night table lamp. So only a couple ceiling lights and had to unscrew one right next to the small screen TV or we only saw that light's glare on it. Heating was a wall heater below the window and was alternately too hot or too cold; had to put a pillow over it (probably not safe) since it was too hot when on and immediately next to the bed. Parking was as you find on the street, but even then only one side and not at all M-F 7am to 10am. Not as advertised!
