While the staff were super helpful and the property itself was nice, there were a few issues that I encountered during my stay that would probably steer me away from booking a stay again. First the pluses: great staff. wonderful housekeeping team, EV charger for those traveling eco-consciously, and a very dog friendly environment ( nice lawn to exercise your dog, welcoming staff ). The downsides include that it's away from most restaurants and activities, the quality of the "take away breakfasts" were not great (mostly prepackaged items), the TV/DVD in the room never worked, internet service was spotty, there isn't a pool available (a hot tub is available ) and there was noise... a lot of noise. 1 family with 6 kids running around and screaming with little interaction from staff or parents. Not trying to be a curmudgeon, but this wasn't my idea of a relaxing quiet vacation.

Nice place. Not cheap. Sort of a nice camp ground with nice clean, big (mine was 400 sf I think) rooms. I had a cottage with full kitchen. Nice outdoor deck. Nice hot tub on premises and barbecue area. Dog friendly Close to town and across street from beautiful grounds of ansilomar conference center. Beach 5-10 min walk. 10 min drive to cannery row in Monterey.

Our fifth or sixth stay here. Convenient and thoughtful touches, lovely kitchen, firewood stocked daily, very comfortable beds and very hot water. We had a spacious private patio with table and grill. Good two bedroom units are hard to find, and these are wonderful. The property is a fantastic five minute walk through Asilomar facility across the dunes to the beach. The property is quiet, nice selection of teas, coffees and snacks in the lobby, hot tub in the courtyard. Worth every penny.

Came across these cottages when I was looking up dog friendly places. It was my puppies 1st vacation and I can say it is definitely puppy approved. We loved the enclosed private patio and the park like setting. We took advantage of the common areas like the jacuzzi, ping-pong table and grill/outdoor dinning area. Enjoyed the short walk to the beach. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast and snack items available through the day were convenient. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

We enjoyed a 6 night stay at the Andril Fireplace Cottages in June 2024. Our cottage was exactly what we hoped for. Having a full kitchen allowed us to fix small meals and not have to dine out as much. There is also outdoor space for larger groups to dine, a hot tub, large backyard for children or pets, and each cottage had a small fenced patio area. The continental breakfasts met our basic needs, and the easy access to all the free snacks made the stay that much more enjoyable. I can’t say enough about how clean the cottage was. Daily housekeeping kept it spotless, and the quiet coziness of the area was so much better than staying in a hotel. The close proximity to the entire Monterey area allowed us to do multiple day outings to see the sights. Overall, we were very happy with our stay, and will definitely stay there again on our next visit.

Andril Cottages are awesome! Very spacious, fantastic WOOD burning fireplaces-very romantic! Have upgraded granite kitchen table & counters! Full sz refrig & microwave/toaster & oven. Very safe neighborhood-walk 2 Asilomar Beach & Pacific Coast walking trail by ocean! Great friendly staff! Have continental breakfast snacks/ dvd ckout movies! Love it here! Away from busy Monterey.Our 7th time here!

This place far exceeded expectations. The cabin was so cute and had every amenity we could have hoped for, and some we never would have thought of. The bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was so comfy and we loved that there were different pillow options. There were so many small details that went above and beyond, like the white noise machine and dimmable lighting. We loved the recliners and the fireplace. Staff was very friendly, the hot tub was great, and the EV charger was extremely convenient. We can't think of a single negative; we will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area.

The property was lovely as we're the front desk staff. The only issues we had were with housekeeping staff - 1 day they left the door to our cottage wide open when they left, and 2 - they were not very thorough when it came to restocking the coffee and popcorn. Luckily nothing went missing and it was easy enough to go and grab more coffee from the front desk. The beds were hit or miss depending on your preference but there did end up being one for everyone's taste. The breakfast and snacks are a great amenity. Love that they use coded access for the cottages vs having to keep track of a key. The beach is a short drive or lovely stroll away. Wish we had had more time. I have already booked again for the summer to take my kids.

We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it! Office staff was super attentive, detailed, and beyond helpful. Annabelle was especially helpful and friendly. The pictures online don't do the property or rooms justice. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and surrounded by nature's beauty. The property is warm, welcoming, and had the cutest decor. Our room and the grounds were well kept. The housekeeping team was wonderful and paid careful attention to details. They really seem to care about your experience and every last detail is meant to provide comfort and convenience. We loved it here!

When we checked in, we were greeted with a smile and friendly conversation. Our dogs loved running in the open grassy area and taking pictures on the chairs. The room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Looking forward to our next stay.

The property was very nice and unique! I would definitely come back. The only additional comment would be the floors not being clean and there was a dog treat in one of the bowls, which means it wasn't cleaned.

This was our first time staying at Andril Fireplace Cottages, it was one of the best places we have stayed in PG. I want to say that we could not thinks of one negative thing to say. Everyone was friendly, very clean and comfortable. The amenities like the BBQ, coffee in the room and at the front desk, the nibbles at the front desk, also offered a variety of breakfast items. I want to ,et the owners know that they are doing a wonderful job so glad you’re there for us to enjoy, we will be back.

Our stay was good - GREAT staff, easy check-in, parking, close to beach, comfy beds, and good kitchen. Our only disappointment, and a big one, was that we were on a lower floor of a two level building. The advertising, pictures, etc., led us to believe we would have a stand alone unit. Having someone above us was VERY noisy - the units are older with very little sound proofing. Fortunately, our neighbors didn't stay up too late, have a crying baby, or play loud music :O). The property will not guarantee a unit number so you might get stuck with this one...you never know.

I stayed 4 nights with my dog and I loved the property with a summer camp feel to it. Grassy areas and outdoor ping pong and seating areas. The staff was super nice and there are help yourself snacks in the office. You can walk to the ocean in 10 minutes and it’s beautiful! The only problem I had was being in room 23 which is not a separate cottage. My next door neighbor clomped around so loudly it sounded like it was overhead. I complained about the noise but was advised I should’ve realized I’d selected a motel type room and not a separate cottage. It never occurred to me I’d have to put up with noise for $300 a night + pet fee. As a gesture, they refunded my pet fee which was nice. I opted not to move to a cottage for $50 extra per night as it was an upstairs unit. The noise continued the remaining 3 nights.
I stayed 4 nights with my dog and I loved the property with a summer camp feel to it. Grassy areas and outdoor ping pong and seating areas. The staff was super nice and there are help yourself snacks in the office. You can walk to the ocean in 10 minutes and it’s beautiful! The only problem I had was being in room 23 which is not a separate cottage. My next door neighbor clomped around so loudly it sounded like it was overhead. I complained about the noise but was advised I should’ve realized I’d selected a motel type room and not a separate cottage. This property is a special place. It is a wonderful place to relax and in a perfect location. They obviously take great pride in the care of this property and the experience guests have. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin and it was spotless and so co.fy! We loved the fireplace and the very well stocked kitchen. The beds were fantastic. We can't wait to return.❤️

While the staff were super helpful and the property itself was nice, there were a few issues that I encountered during my stay that would probably steer me away from booking a stay again. First the pluses: great staff. wonderful housekeeping team, EV charger for those traveling eco-consciously, and a very dog friendly environment ( nice lawn to exercise your dog, welcoming staff ). The downsides include that it's away from most restaurants and activities, the quality of the "take away breakfasts" were not great (mostly prepackaged items), the TV/DVD in the room never worked, internet service was spotty, there isn't a pool available (a hot tub is available ) and there was noise... a lot of noise. 1 family with 6 kids running around and screaming with little interaction from staff or parents. Not trying to be a curmudgeon, but this wasn't my idea of a relaxing quiet vacation.

Had a fantastic 4 night stay in one of their cottages with my spouse and two pups. It was incredibly homey and spacious - kitchen was fully stocked with basic appliances and dishes/utensils, large bathroom with plenty of soft towels, comfy bedding, and easy to use fireplace. Also loved the enclosed patio with easy access to additional green spaces. Staff was very friendly and provided complimentary snacks. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, while being just a short drive from restaurants, grocery stores, and tourist areas. Would definitely stay again!

Wow! What a gem, and a pet friendly one too! The pet rules are common sense, but this is easily the most pet friendly place I’ve ever been! The cottage was perfect, plenty of space to stretch out, full living room / dining room and kitchen, king bedroom and 1 1/2 baths! Oh and the patio. And, the fireplace of course! Bed was comfortable. Service was outstanding. Thank you for a great stay!

Asilomar Beach is like a 7-minute walk through the Asilomar conference grounds across the street. The Andril property is charming and staff is friendly. Cannery Row and Pebble Beach are minutes away by car as well as downtown Pacific Grove. This will be a go-to place for us going forward.

It is wonderful to stay in an individual cottage, to have very comfortable easy chairs, and a very comfortable bed. To have a fully stocked kitchen, to be able to bring our dog and have our own enclosed patio area. All the special amenities, provided make you feel so welcome.

Sometimes I wish I still had a thesaurus, so that I could pull from a list of superlatives. This is a great property. They are accurate described as cabins because from the outside they have that appearance. However, inside everything is modern and up-to-date. All of the bathroom fixtures are new, the lighting is excellent. There is adequate TV for those who want to watch. They have coffee and snacks available in the morning and I was absolutely delighted to get the daily newspaper from Monterey in the mornings.It. Overall, conveniently located close to sunset Drive, for the most amazing views of the ocean. Downtown restaurants and amenities are nearby also. The staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating. This will be my go to place when I visit Monterey.

What a lovely place! Quiet, low key and perfect! Unfortunately had a 3 day stay booked- ended up in hospital for 5 days. Staff was so very assuring about packing my room up for me, and upon my return to pick up stuff, I found my things thoughtfully packed and my health checked upon- very nice! Hope to re-book soon

We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it! Office staff was super attentive, detailed, and beyond helpful. Annabelle was especially helpful and friendly. The pictures online don't do the property or rooms justice. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and surrounded by nature's beauty. The property is warm, welcoming, and had the cutest decor. Our room and the grounds were well kept. The housekeeping team was wonderful and paid careful attention to details. They really seem to care about your experience and every last detail is meant to provide comfort and convenience. We loved it here!

Andril is a lovely getaway. The kitchens are beautifully equipped, beds comfortable, staff is friendly and very amenable. Lobby breakfast (continental) is good, and the popcorn makes a late night just perfect. Fireplaces are such a bonus, even in the spring and fall months. Our fifth or sixth year with them, and they always make our stay memorable.

We were facing power outage when we first arrived. But the front desk lady not only provided help with lighting the fireplace. She also gave us candles and lighter. The kitchen is perfect with everything we needed. Great bed.

Very peaceful setting. 5 minute walk to the beach. The staff was very accommodating , they sprinkled roses petals on the bed for us and even picked up flowers for me as a Sunday delivery was not possible. Just wonderful people.

Came across these cottages when I was looking up dog friendly places. It was my puppies 1st vacation and I can say it is definitely puppy approved. We loved the enclosed private patio and the park like setting. We took advantage of the common areas like the jacuzzi, ping-pong table and grill/outdoor dinning area. Enjoyed the short walk to the beach. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast and snack items available through the day were convenient. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Cottage was amazing and very appropriate for a 4-person family. So much better than a hotel room! My daughters did not want to leave and are already asking when we can go back. Breakfast and snacks available made the mornings and afternoon munchies very easy. Great selection of DVD's. We will be making this our annual vacation place for sure!

This place is a gem! We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and graciously shown where to park and the location of amenities onbth property. Kitchenette was well appointed with all we needed. Local paper was delivered to our doorstep each morning, there were snacks and coffee available in the office and a continental breakfast. Quiet, lovely grounds and walking distance to asilomar and the beach and dunes boardwalk. This is the third place we have tried in pacific grove and we will definitely plan for a return trip!

Having a full kitchen allowed us to fix small meals and not have to dine out as much. There is also outdoor space for larger groups to dine, a hot tub, large backyard for children or pets, and each cottage had a small fenced patio area. The continental breakfasts met our basic needs, and the easy access to all the free snacks made the stay that much more enjoyable. I can’t say enough about how clean the cottage was. Daily housekeeping kept it spotless, and the quiet coziness of the area was so much better than staying in a hotel. The close proximity to the entire Monterey area allowed us to do multiple day outings to see the sights. Overall, we were very happy with our stay, and will definitely stay there again on our next visit.

Andril Cottages are awesome! Very spacious, fantastic WOOD burning fireplaces-very romantic! Have upgraded granite kitchen table & counters! Full sz refrig & microwave/toaster & oven. This was our first time staying at Andril Fireplace Cottages, it was one of the best places we have stayed in PG. I want to say that we could not thinks of one negative thing to say. Everyone was friendly, very clean and comfortable. The amenities like the BBQ, coffee in the room and at the front desk, the nibbles at the front desk, also offered a variety of breakfast items. I want to ,et the owners know that they are doing a wonderful job so glad you’re there for us to enjoy, we will be back.

Best hotel of our entire road trip. Very welcoming and caring staff. Best night without noise. Good location near Monterey and Carmel. Meilleur hôtel de tout notre road trip. Personnels très accueillant et aux petits soins. Cottage agréable, propre avec cheminée, barbecue a disposition.

Oh my goodness we only had one over night stay but it was amazing and we plan to come back again wonderful staff they were accommodating and had things todo onsite of the property beach was not to far and area was so quiet and beautiful thank you so much would recommend to anyone!

The cabins are really cute but also brilliantly modern. It is the location if you are attending a conference at Asilomar, but also great for visiting the area. There is a walking path to a rail trail right out the door and the coast is next door.
