Motel 6-Saanichton, BC - Victoria Airport

I informed the desk clerk that I am a light sleeper, and would she find me a room on the second floor. The person above me walked heavy. She said sure, and assigned me another room, "on the first floor!" I don't know if she misunderstood me or if there was a communication breakdown. She said she was from Sudan. Once I settled in, I learned quickly the walls were paper thin. In addition to being able to hear my neighbors conversations, you could also hear very loudly the faucet running each time it was turned on. In addition, the worst part was the people rooming over me on the second floor walked heavier than the first person I was trying to avoid over me. Worst of all the room was only cleaned ONCE in the four days I was there. After coming back to the room after being out all day, I came back to a room to where not even the bed was made up. I contacted the desk, and they said you have to request the room be cleaned. That's insane!!! Who wants to make a bed on their vacation? So after a request, the room was clean the next day, however the next days request the housekeeper showed up after 5:00pm. I had been out all day and was tired and taking a nap. I informed the room should have been cleaned much earlier while I was out, and I'm napping. He told me he was just informed of my request. They also don't want to change towels for 4 days unless requested. That's just nasty!!! I paid a little under $700.00 for 4 days stay, I deserved better!
