My favorite place to stay in St. Claire, the Pinemark dows not disappoint. Clean rooms, comfy beds, and the saltwater pool is the best after a long car ride. Breakfast is much better than the chains. I wish every hotel on my route was this nice. Thank you!

A perfect overnight stay. We stopped on our way between DFW and Chicago, but were so impressed with the amenities (great pool and cornhole!), we wished we had more time to enjoy the property. Eli checked us in and made us feel like we were staying with family. We will definitely stay here again!

This property surpassed our expectations especially for the price. We stayed with a toddler and dogs. The pet fee is very reasonable. Staff was very accommodating. The rooms were clean. The pool area is beautiful with an outdoor fire table near it to relax. We were most impressed with the dog area. It was clean, well maintained, serene and nicely shaded. I would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay at Pinemark. Elijah(front desk clerk) was very friendly and helpful. The Pinemark had very unique family touches that made it inviting and friendly. We enjoyed the fire pit and pool area. Would absolutely stay here again next time traveling through the area. Excellent hospitality!!

Such a fun little place. The service was great. The pool was inviting with plenty of room around the pool to hang out with your friends. The firepits are a wonderful addition to sit around on a beautiful evening. Highly recommend.

My original room wasnt cleaned properly but the staff helped immediately to get me set to a new room. The second room was better but still had hair on one of the blankets and one of the towels. I didn’t complain further because I was only there for 2 nights, tossed those items aside, and had a wonderful experience otherwise. The pool was amazing after a long travel. All the staff was very accommodating and friendly!

We really liked this hotel, but the room was very humid and smelled very odd. Like a strong, musty smell. The air conditioning didn’t work well. I’m glad I brought a portable fan. The bed was also super uncomfortable. I think it was a really old bed, you kind of sink into it, not in a good way.

The room was clean and comfortable. Toasty warm on a 24 degree evening arrival. Beautifully decorated in calming decor. Sweet touches like an open bible on the desk. Felt like home. Its built on a hill with wonderful sunset views. Easy access to all rooms, for those who done like stairs, you can drive around back and its one level to get to the second floor rooms. Breakfast was fresh and well presented, real plates and silverware! Coffee in an actual mug! 10/10 id recommended this stay. Staff was friendly and full of helpful information, even told ys about the owners. I lived the way they used family pictures in the main areas to feel welcoming.

Very pleasant. We were about as far away as you could get from the lobby with no view ( cement wall.) Room was small but all else was well done. Room was clean and updated. Breakfast was amazing!

There are pros and cons to this property. The pros: Rooms are super clean, the staff is friendly, and the pool and landscaping are lovely, especially at night. Breakfast was great. There is also a place to sit and roast marshmallows which is a nice touch. The cons: The walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors talking next to you. Other things to think about: The beds are very firm which made it hard for me to sleep, but my husband and daughter liked the firm mattresses and slept soundly. I really liked the wood floors and furniture but wish the two beds were queens instead of fulls. There is a mini-fridge and a coffee maker, but it isn't a Keurig so don't bring your KCups.

The king rooms were spacious, well-appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the nightstands featured outlets and charging ports. The refrigerator had an actual freezer on top. The rooms were better lighted than most hotel rooms. The breakfast was better than many hotel breakfasts, but it needed replenishing, and some guests were left with very limited options. The staff were wonderful. We will stay here whenever we are in the area. It's obvious that the owner cares about the property and the guest experience. This is a quality place and a good value.

Staff was extremely helpful in dealing with an emergency that came up for me. This place was beautiful, quiet, clean and fantastic. Wish I could have stayed for the whole weekend. Kudos to Katie for excellent customer service.

2 star motel with 5 star service. At first glance, it looks like other motels. Look again. The grounds are well manicured, and not a piece of trash. The pool area looks like it belongs in a more expensive hotel. Everything is clean and well designed. Breakfast surpassed anything else in this price range. Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. A special shout out to Courtney! All in all, an excellent stay. I have paid a lot more for less.

I booked our stay as a stop towards the end of a road trip that I took with my senior mother and my two young children. I chose and booked the Pinemark based off of their location and their amazing reviews. After our stay I left this property with my only regret being that I only had the time to stay one night here. What an amazing hidden gem! The staff was super attentive, kind and courteous. The room was comfortable and very clean, the pool was luxury level (especially considering how difficult it is to find any hotel with a nice outdoor pool in the Midwest) and don’t even get me started on the quality of the free breakfast that’s included. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and motels in my traveling times and I can tell you it’s far and a few between to find a place that not only serves up high-quality (real home cooking) eggs, meats, and potatoes but then also goes above and beyond to make you feel at home by serving that free breakfast on real plates with actual goldware and real coffee mugs! I was blown away by the standards and customer service the Pinemark had to offer. After checking out, I hadn’t even realized that I forgot a very personal dear to me pair of earrings in the room, and within two hours of leaving, the staff had called me to notify me that I left my earrings behind and went above and beyond to get my address so that they could ship them home to me with no extra charge which I am beyond grateful for. Bottom line it was an amazingly perfect stay!

I was there for three nights. The second night I got back to the hotel my door was cracked open. So I go downstairs and told them my situation. I talked to the manager on the phone. She said she would look at the camera footage. The next morning when I talked to that manager, she told me no one opened the door. I had told her I’ve been checking to make sure it was locked and shut! I didn’t get asked by her if anything was stolen or how my night was after the door had been opened. I was afraid so I put the chair and table to block the door. So the bottom line is they don’t care about your safety and the safety of your belongings. I received NO compensation for this problem. I will never ever stay there again and I might be in that area again soon.
I was there for three nights. The second night I got back to the hotel my door was cracked open. So I go downstairs and told them my situation. I talked to the manager on the phone. She said she would look at the camera footage. The next morning when I talked to that manager, she told me no one opened the door. I had told her I’ve been checking to make sure it was locked and shut! I didn’t get asked by her if anything was stolen or how my night was after the door had been opened. I was afraid so I put the chair and table to block the door. So the bottom line is they don’t care about your safety and the safety of your belongings. I received NO compensation for this problem. I will never ever stay there again and I might be in that area again soon.

The initial check in went smoothly, but shortly after we got to our room we were called twice by reception. We were told that because we live locally, everyone staying in the room would need their ID copied, and the license plate of the vehicle. We also had to put an additional $250 deposit down for the room because we were local. I’ve never had an issue renting a room locally before at another hotel. We chose this place for an afternoon dinner and date. This wasn’t even an overnight stay, as we had to hire a babysitter to get some time to ourselves. So you can imagine the disappointment when a good portion of the time was spent being recalled for a check in with all the additional hoops just for living locally. This experience did put quite the damper on our experience here and will impact our decision of staying here again in the future.

Hey y’all, We were visiting Meramac Caverns and wanted a hotel nearby when I found this one. We usually stay at typical chain hotels but took a chance on this one and I am glad we did. The check in was easy, the property was nice, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious! It was restaurant quality. I am pleased we chose Pinemark for our stay.

We’ve stayed here at least 4 times when we visit St Louis, it’s about 45 minutes to St Louis from here but it’s so nice and quiet and the rooms are beautiful and the property is pristine it’s hard to go anywhere else, if you’re just traveling through definitely stay, you’ll get a great bed and room and it’s right off the highway and not nearly as expensive as the hotels closer to St Louis

A very very nice property. Cozy lobby with fireplace, hot coco, coffee & fresh popped popcorn. Becky was very nice & accommodating upon check in. My room was spotless clean and decorated so tastefully. This property is much better than staying at a chain hotel. 10 out of 10 rating!!

The king rooms were spacious, well-appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the nightstands featured outlets and charging ports. The refrigerator had an actual freezer on top. The rooms were better lighted than most hotel rooms. The breakfast was better than many hotel breakfasts, but it needed replenishing, and some guests were left with very limited options. The staff were wonderful. We will stay here whenever we are in the area. It's obvious that the owner cares about the property and the guest experience. This is a quality place and a good value.

Breakfast was very nice. Appreciated all the outdoor seating with the exception of a gentleman sitting close to the lobby entrance smoking. I was on second level and had to move to a different spot to escape smoke odor. Assigned a second level room when checking in and inquired about an elevator. The youth who checked us in just looked at us and said there wasn’t one. It was a last minute, rushed and unplanned trip so I must have overlooked that fact when booking online. We can do stairs but not easily for seniors carrying bags. We made it slowly up the stairs with belongings in tow only to discover there was a drive to an upper parking lot. Really? The kids couldn’t mention that to us? There was an older lady at the desk when we were checking in and she didn’t pipe up and tell us that either. The bathroom needed a little more elbow grease…dirty build up in corners, long dark hair left in tub. They need to install grab bars. The toilet is so low that anyone with bad knees will find it difficult without a grab bar which was our situation. Other than what I mentioned it is a decent place for a fair price. We felt perfectly safe at this property while taking a stroll outside after dark.

We use this hotel several times a year when we visit a place on the Meramec River in St Clair called Shady Beach. This hotel is wonderful, from the staff to the rooms to the pool to the free breakfast. We've stayed at other hotels in the St Clair area. Don't do that! Stay at Pinemark and feel like you're at a resort rather than a seedy motel.
