The property was amazing, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. We very much enjoyed the common areas and walking around the property. It is very close to St David's and was a great homebase for our adventures around Pembrokeshire.

We loved every aspect of our stay at this fantastic property. The staff was spectacularly accommodating. The property was beautiful, and historic. The breakfasts were great. It felt genuinely luxurious to stay in this beautifully restored castle. We also benefited from the electric charging facilities for our car.

The hotel is in a 12th century castle that has been made into a 6 bedroom hotel. Baths are spacious, everything sparkling clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Parking right onsite.

Traveling with a small group of three, we booked two rooms in the castle and could not have been more pleased. The staff was incredibly attentive upon check-in, providing a brief tour of the castle and its amenities before leaving us to move in and relax. The rooms were exceptional and the common areas were comfortable and inviting. I think our only regret was that our travel schedule only allowed for a one-night stay, as we all would have been very pleased to have an extra night or two in this incredibly beautiful setting.

We loved the fact that it felt like a home, so relaxing with a wonderful large lounge with various sitting areas. Totally perfect and very homely as it was unstaffed after 7pm. Even though it was unstaffed you could call a 24hour number if you needed help at all. Breakfasts were amazing choices and of an exceptionally high standard. The team of staff couldn't do enough for you, so polite and helpful. We will definitely visit again.

What an incredible amazing venue. So quirky to be able to stay in a castle. Everything was excellent. The room spacious, very clean and with great facilities. The castle was decorated beautifully with exquisite art pieces and features. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. All of the staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. A lovely gesture to have an honesty bar too. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked to return next year.

Had a lovely time at Roch Castle for my birthday. Staff were polite, and went the extra mile by leaving a very cool birthday card and bottle of wine in the room, as well as leaving petals on the bed spelling 'Happy Birthday'. Some people wouldnt like it, but I liked the fact the petals were fabric and not real. Better for the environment by leaving flowers in their full splendour. Plus avoids critters and mess in the room. Clean, tidy, gorgeous interiors with the quirk and magic of being a real castle. Breakfast offered a wide range of choices, from pastries, cereal, and cooked breakfasts. We enjoyed a nice Vegetarian breakfast with a rare treat of two sausage choices. Glamorgan, or Richmond. A refreshing change and superior choices compared to other mostly used brands of veggie sausage. The self serve honesty bar in the sun room is a welcomed touch and very useful in the evenings. The staff were also helpful when offering tips, advice, and suggestions of things to do in the local area. It was nice to have an opportunity to have a breif chat where staff took an interest in what guests had done the day before, or what ther plans were for that day. Thankful that when we left an item of clothing, they found it and returned it to us. Honestly, quite a magical experience.

We had an amazing, relaxing stay. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and could not have done enough for us. The room was stunning and beds exceptionally comfortable. The castle is beautiful and every detail has been thought about.

Roch Castle Hotel ticks all the boxes for a superb and unique experience. The hotel exudes luxury but in a calm and peaceful manner. A sympathetic restoration leaves many of the castles features evident in most rooms and public rooms.

It was a surprise trip for hubby. As we pulled up to the gates, he let out a huge WOW, I did too. The lady that greeted us and showed us around was lovely. Our room, the Nest, was beautiful as was the rest of the castle. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and met other members of staff, they were lovely. It was like being in a fairy tale. Thank you all so very, very much <3

This is a little gem . We went there for our Ruby anniversary , the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and surprised us with a bottle of bubbly , cards and chocolates . The breakfasts were delicious using local produce . It was an amazing weekend made even better with good weather .
This is a little gem . We went there for our Ruby anniversary , the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and surprised us with a bottle of bubbly , cards and chocolates . The breakfasts were delicious using local produce . It was an amazing weekend made even better with good weather .

Unique place! The room, breakfast and service were all great. The only thing they need to change is recommending their sister hotel (for dinner) which is at St David’s and 10 miles away . Far better options in Solva

The property was amazing, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. We very much enjoyed the common areas and walking around the property. It is very close to St David's and was a great homebase for our adventures around Pembrokeshire.

This was a fantastic hotel, all the previous reviews speak for themselves, everything was lovely apart from the dreadful weather which was a shame as I was looking forward to exploring the area. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it

The castle is sensational, like a fairty tale! The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was yummy. Also ... beautiful countryside. Could not have been better.

The hotel is in a 12th century castle that has been made into a 6 bedroom hotel. Baths are spacious, everything sparkling clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Parking right onsite.

Little more to say than it’s a B&B opportunity in a castle! But this is topped off by friendly and attentive staff and an excellent breakfast! A definite stay if you are touring south/west Wales.

What an incredible amazing venue. So quirky to be able to stay in a castle. Everything was excellent. The room spacious, very clean and with great facilities. The castle was decorated beautifully with exquisite art pieces and features. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. All of the staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. A lovely gesture to have an honesty bar too. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked to return next year.

Had a lovely time at Roch Castle for my birthday. Staff were polite, and went the extra mile by leaving a very cool birthday card and bottle of wine in the room, as well as leaving petals on the bed spelling 'Happy Birthday'. Some people wouldnt like it, but I liked the fact the petals were fabric and not real. Better for the environment by leaving flowers in their full splendour. Plus avoids critters and mess in the room. Clean, tidy, gorgeous interiors with the quirk and magic of being a real castle. Breakfast offered a wide range of choices, from pastries, cereal, and cooked breakfasts. We enjoyed a nice Vegetarian breakfast with a rare treat of two sausage choices. Glamorgan, or Richmond. A refreshing change and superior choices compared to other mostly used brands of veggie sausage. The self serve honesty bar in the sun room is a welcomed touch and very useful in the evenings. The staff were also helpful when offering tips, advice, and suggestions of things to do in the local area. It was nice to have an opportunity to have a breif chat where staff took an interest in what guests had done the day before, or what ther plans were for that day. Thankful that when we left an item of clothing, they found it and returned it to us. Honestly, quite a magical experience.

This is a superbly restored space and quite unique. It has a few quirks that one should know and are represented by the property managers. There are no meals available outside of breakfast. If one has large pieces of luggage navigating it to ones room could be more than challenging. I am a bit surprised that there is no accommodation made in terms of staffing to provide assistance with luggage.

Merveilleux endroit et superbe expérience au Roch Castle. Dormir dans un château c'est top. Chambre petite mais très confortable. Petit frigo avec de l'eau et nécessaire pour thé/café dans la chambre. La salle de bain était top et le petit déjeuner divin. Les clients ont aussi la possibilité de profiter d'un vaste séjour au sommet du château avec une vue magnifique. Le seul bémol pour nous a été la chaleur dans la chambre. Il n'a pas été facile de rafraichir la pièce la nuit, même en laissant les fenêtres ouvertes. Mais le personne n'y est pour rien, c'était la canicule !

Great fun to stay in a literal castle. Very helpful staff. Room was comfortable and quiet. Parking on site. Wonderful breakfast. No elevator (lift), but again this is an actual castle.

I felt like a king of the castle for a few days. Couldn’t fault any aspect of my stay even used the spa at sister hotel which was excellent. Really got to know my fellow guests. Definitely recommend 5 star all the way.
