Right in the heart of the French Quarter, 2 blocks from Bourbon Street, and within just a few more blocks of everything else we wanted to see, we did not use our car for the entire 3 days we were there! No breakfast at the hotel, but breakfast restaurants within 2 blocks also. The pool was clean and secluded but secure, and parking was in a gated alcove that was locked at night. The room was "cozy", meaning slightly cramped, but I could bring a chair in from the balcony to watch TV or read, or leave them out on the balcony over the street. Staff was all very friendly and helpful, even carried our bags up the stairs, and would have carried them back down the stairs had we asked. The shower was over-sized, and the bed was comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly. The hotel was also about 6 blocks from Frenchmen Street, which is where the locals hang out (Bourbon Street is the tourist location). Everything in NOLA is expensive, but we were prepared for that. Even on the day it rained, we could walk around and hardly get wet because so many sidewalk areas have balconies over them. If we visit the French Quarter again, we would definitely strongly consider this hotel again. The only drawbacks we saw were the extra cost of parking, (about the same price as street parking overnight but more secure), and the lack of an elevator for getting to the second floor.

I liked daily housekeeping, I think the building is very well-updated for its age and maintained history. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool was nice, parking was tricky to find but nice to have once we found it.

The staff were fantastic. The property and location were great! My only complaint was the condition of the outdoor furniture and the pool. Part of why the large group of us stayed here was for potential use of the pool but it was constantly gross; even when I asked for it to be clean. I definitely would stay here again though. Can't beat the location!

Property is walkable to everything & staff was very friendly. Elaine at the front desk was very sweet & very helpful with answering all our questions about things to do & places to eat. FYI-there is no elevator, so if needed request a first floor room.

The location is prime and they do their best to keep the gate locked and the area clean. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The pool was a nice addition to luxury and we enjoyed the patio area when the weather was warm.

Great property. No elevators if you have trouble walking. Not a problem for us. Staff could not have been nicer. We were getting out of the taxi and the person at the front desk came out and got our luggage and took it to our room. We will be staying there again

First, let me start by saying that this hotel has two things going for it, the staff is very accommodating ,very nice and made attempts to provide good customer service, secondly the location is ideal as it sits dead center between Jackson Square and Bourbon Street. After that there’s nothing left to offer. The hotel is very dated. There isn’t even an elevator which I wasn’t aware of before booking. This of course makes moving your bags in and out of the room a struggle for sure. Also, the housekeeping does not do a good job at all. There was a 1/8 inch of dust on every surface in my room and after making the mistake of walking barefoot on the floor, I discovered the room is neither swept or mopped. I also found left over trash from past room guests. Unfortunately on my last day, I discovered the biggest cockroach I’ve ever seen in the shower. The front desk made attempts to reconcile by moving me to another room, which was very nice, but then I discovered tiny lizards crawling everywhere outside of that room. I will note that on my way out the door they offered to refund me for one night of my stay, but unfortunately, the amount actually refunded was not the same as what I was promised. The positives of this hotel do not outweigh the negatives. I will not be returning.

This is a beautiful classic French Quarter property. The courtyard is cozy and beautiful. The rooms are furnished and decorated to match the local culture. The room is serviced daily, which is something that went away during covid and has not returned in many places. I would definatly stay here again.

Propery staff was excellent. The room was pretty much clean except the bathroom shower had signs of mold and no extra rolls of toliet paper in the bathroom. The pool was nice but needs to be cleaned and needs a good remodel.

Staff was super friendly and helpful, but the room wasn’t clean ,m.crumbs on the table when I arrived and there were roaches on the shower curtain, walls, and in the bathroom. Great people working here, but the hotel needs serious pest control and cleaning improvements.

The location was great and we were able to walk everywhere easily. We were in a room close to the street, and it was a bit noisy. There were a couple small cockroaches in the room. The staff were very friendly.

We booked a last minute weekend stay here after our original flight was cancelled. The staff was beyond friendly and the location was wonderful.. about 2 blocks from the French Market, close enough to the action but not so close that you were up all night. We got to watch a couple parades go by (wedding, protest, and a just because parade lol) the courtyard and pool area are very cute. The building itself is older, as are most buildings in the heart of the French Quarter so the rooms were on the smaller side, but they were clean and well kept. Would definitely stay again!

Well there was a smell in the hallway and the rooms it smelled so bad I could not sleep the first night. It was like a rancid smell mildew /mold idk. The front desk switches us to another room the next day it was a little better I could sleep so it wasn’t as strong. The customer service is outstanding. The parking well let’s just say we paid $150 and one night there was no room for our car it was full so we had to pay $50 at another hotel for overnight parking. They did reimburse us just all a hassle. I wouldn’t stay here again. However the front desk was awesome.

I went for a wedding and booked the Chateau. Hotel was great. 2 blocks from Lafittes and Borbon Street and 3 blocks from the French Market. Great place to stay if you don't want to deal with the rowdiness of Borbon Street. Very quiet and chill area. My room was a little small, but I knew it would be going it since I booked a petite room. It didn't bother me since it was just myself staying there. Enough space for just one person. The bathroom very spacious and modern. My only complaint if I have one is that housekeeping came a little earlier than expected. They were knocking at 9:30 am, seemed a little early and it would've been nice if it was an hour or so later. But after night 1 I realized to put the do not disturb sign and wasn't bothered again. But they cleaned the room and got fresh towels every day, which isn't necessarily the case anymore with a lot of hotels. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

The hotel was darling. Our only complaints were the light outside our room at night made it difficult to sleep because it felt like it was daytime outside. Also, you can hear every sound outside your door so passing people and cars on the street felt like they were in the room with us. The room was small but cozy. The bathroom was a little too small for my liking as there was not enough room at the mirror to get ready in the morning or have space to even balance a hair brush or blow dryer.

We stayed in room 220 a balcony room. The room was very clean and nice however the window coverings were very thin and the light from the street made it very difficult to sleep. No where to sit other than the bed and a small desk chair. There was room for another chair in the corner. Also there was only one night stand when there was room for two small ones on either side of the bed. Lastly some sort of shelf in the bathroom is needed so someone can put their toiletries in the bathroom. I understand that they are trying to keep the hotel as authentic as possible but I don’t feel that these added things will take away from the experience. The curtains definitely need to be addressed. Some type of blackout shade behind the curtain on the door to the balcony is needed. Also the transom windows above the doors had no curtains at all. Not good.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. I absolutely love the beds. Water takes a little while to heat up, but once it heats up, 10/10. The complementary water at the front desk truly comes in handy. My only complaints would be there’s not a fridge or an ice bucket in the room. And It can be kind of noisy if you have a room near the street. Otherwise I always enjoy my stay at this hotel. I’ll definitely be returning.

Water in shower was good. No place to hang a towel when in the shower. Pedestal sink sloped and didn’t allow any place for toiletries. Bar soap was horrible leaving a sticky residue hard to remove. Bedding was made up all turned 90 degrees. Pillows were nice and bed was comfy. AC could not remove the humidity. Cleaning staff spoke loudly in the mornings with their voices echoing throughout.

I loved the location, as it is in the French Quarters. However, my room was very small and didn’t have windows. Also, I could hear the guest in the next room through the adjoining door; it’s like we were in the same room.

Right in the heart of the French Quarter, 2 blocks from Bourbon Street, and within just a few more blocks of everything else we wanted to see, we did not use our car for the entire 3 days we were there! No breakfast at the hotel, but breakfast restaurants within 2 blocks also. The pool was clean and secluded but secure, and parking was in a gated alcove that was locked at night. The room was "cozy", meaning slightly cramped, but I could bring a chair in from the balcony to watch TV or read, or leave them out on the balcony over the street. Staff was all very friendly and helpful, even carried our bags up the stairs, and would have carried them back down the stairs had we asked. The shower was over-sized, and the bed was comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly. The hotel was also about 6 blocks from Frenchmen Street, which is where the locals hang out (Bourbon Street is the tourist location). Everything in NOLA is expensive, but we were prepared for that. Even on the day it rained, we could walk around and hardly get wet because so many sidewalk areas have balconies over them. If we visit the French Quarter again, we would definitely strongly consider this hotel again. The only drawbacks we saw were the extra cost of parking, (about the same price as street parking overnight but more secure), and the lack of an elevator for getting to the second floor.

New Orleans is always special; finding this hotel has made it even better, and we’ve been there twice last year, one week each stay. Location is perfect, staff are wonderful, and the rooms feel authentic. We paid for the balcony room both times.

The staff was very nice, no complaints there. However, the “hotel” wasn’t the best. It was kinda small, outdated, had a mold smell, no mini fridge so we couldn’t bring leftover food back to the room, no full length mirror, no area for breakfast. Definitely wasn’t worth the $1100 we paid for 4 nights.

Property was very charming, pool was great for those hot days. Staff was friendly and helpful. I think refrigerators in the rooms would be great and coffee service in the lobby vs the machine in the room. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay!

When I asked for extra pillows I was told to look in the closet in my room, when i said there was no closet the worker didnt believe me and followed me back to my room where he discovered there was no closet. Our shower was clogged from the very beginning and flooded onto the bathroom floor. Housekeeping wasnt great but the daytime staff was super friendly and helpful. The property itself is gorgeous but beware there are no mini fridges or microwaves.

What a treat to have across the street gated parking..(for a price $50 per night) and a lovely clean pool to cool off from the heat in smelly New Orleans. Super location.. just a few small blocks from Jackson Square and Cafe du Monde. Clean rooms with lovely smelling body wash and shampoos. I think having a full sized mirror in our room would make it even better… and perhaps an attached retractable makeup mirror. Women need these things to get dressed and style their hair. We loved having access to the poolside ice machine. And our inside room was very quiet. Staff was super courteous and helpful! Reasonably priced too. We would revisit if ever we come back.

The bed ,pillows, linens were absolutely perfect had a great night sleep until ,600 am when the garbage trucks start running we were on the balcony side so it all echos. The only real complaints is on the website it says there are mini fridges in the rooms of which there are not that was disappointing it is necessary when most older people might need it for medication like us. We had two use a small ice chest and keep refilling with ice Overall we would stay again location is everything.

Rooms on the street side are noisy and small, but we bought the last one they had so I was glad to get a room. Check in was easy and the people working there were real cool. Checkout was easy, and once again the staff was super cool. The room had a comfortable bed, big tv, ironing board, safe, writing desk, and pretty much everything we needed except a refrigerator.

We love staying here. It's in a great spot, without being right in the middle of everything. Only complaint on this trip was the pool was pretty dirty. That wasn't the case for all of our other visits though.

We had a few issues with our room being downgraded but the staff were very helpful in getting this resolved. Thank you to the manager Teyonda for showing understanding of our issues and listening/communicating well with us. The hotel is in a fantastic location right in the heart of the French quarter. Parking just opposite was very convenient. We could have done with a fridge to chill water and drinks. Towels changed regularly.

I gave this hotel a 3 for the lack of a refrigerator in the room, no vending machine for water or soda, no chair to sit on in the room other than a hard office chair, no mirror other than in the bathroom. More than one mirror is needed for two women in the same room. I have not been in a hotel room without a refrigerator for years. It is an assumed amenity. Our room had the security light beaming in all night. The door is covered with shears which are not light blocking. Now for the good things- Location is great. Quiet and safe. Hotel room was spacious,bed and pillows were amazing. Staff was amazing.
