Villa Mounda Apollon

Despite being on the main road, the villa is very quiet and peaceful. We were absolutely blown away by the view from the villa , down the valley to the beach and across the sea to Zakynthos. We loved watching birds of prey circling over the valley, and at night, bats skimming over the pool to catch insects. Mounda beach is amazing. and we became quite good at spotting the trails left by turtle hatchlings as they made their way to the sea the previous night. The excellent taverna in Ratzakli is only 15 minutes walk from the villa, and Skala is only a 3k run or walk if you feel like it, (and it is all downhill!) There are plenty of taxis for the uphill journey home after a visit to the many bars and tavern There are steep stairs between the parking area and the villa. Nothing that can be done about this, but it might be worth warning potential clients.

I love everything about Villa Mounda Apollo, the location, the views, the pool and the garden. The house itself has everything you need - fully equipped to accommodate our family (including a 2 yr old). Anti the host is the loveliest of people - she couldn’t have done more for us, such a special lady and friend to us all x Nothing

The layout and location of the villa were perfect. Lovely Antigone took great care of us and the villa during our stay. We particularly enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and restaurants, and also through the woods up the hillside.

We loved the villa, the space, the beaches nearby, Skala town. Beautiful views. Extra cleaning things: Missing: bin bags for loo bins & kitchen bins in kitchen cleaning products for toilets in bathrooms. Other: Door in master bedroom sticks on the floor and is hard to open

Villa was lovely and clean with all amenities , we purchased a welcome pack and was worth it - very good selection . We didn’t have a car ( which I’d recommend ) but great for getting your steps in walking into skala and getting a cab back . Fantastic views . There were 6 of us but only 5 sunbeds and two umbrellas ( not that this mattered ) .
