Incredible hotel and service! The pope visited the city and we had problem getting a taxi. The staff of the hotel offered us a lift in their own car. The hotel itself is very beautiful! I suggest everyone that spend a couple of days in Milan to spend one night in Pavia and this hotel.

The entrance is through a residential apartment-style building with trash bins at the entry, and the elevator accommodates only one person at a time, creating an uncomfortable first impression and an inconvenient stay. At a rate of $360 per night, this experience falls far below reasonable expectations. Visitors come to Italy expecting authenticity, hospitality, and professionalism. Misleading accommodations like this damage trust and create a disappointing impression for tourists.
