thousand trails short on staff ! they had sewage spill in the facility and told all campers river was off limits ! beacause there error yet river was open short way away under usfs ran area.they used to have nice swim area no more and the area is covered to weeds and willows no access.place has beed going down hill for years our family has been going there for 25 years we are looking for a new place ! ty john h concord ca

Yurt was clean and one of the two we rented had all amenities. One yurt TV did not work and neither did the heat. Laundry room left much to be desired. Only 1 working washing machine, all others “Out of Order”.

The road was out which complicated things, but it was a great stay in their cabins, bathrooms were awesome and super clean plus the grocery/gas store on site was awesome as well.

We stayed in a bunkhouse and it was AMAZING!!! We loved the fan, mini fridge, heater, beds, bedding, bathrooms were super tidy and comfortable. Showers were spacious, tidy and free. Bring a shower caddy for easiest use!

For the price, location, and privacy this was perfect for me. I stayed in a bunkhouse after Labor Day weekend, so off season. The bunkhouse was clean enough and large, I was surprised it had electricity with light, a fan and a fridge. Very quiet, couldn’t hear the other campers nearby. The bathrooms and showers were shared but clean and I rarely saw anyone else when I used them. To get into the park is a drive regardless of where you stay, unless you get a space in the park itself so I was prepared for that (it’s about a 50 min drive to get to Yosemite valley most trail as a reference). A short walk away was a gas station with food basics and souvenirs. Good for Tuloumne meadows branch off if you’re trying to explore there.

Everything was very good except for that the the gas grills were missing. Their web site and the Expedia site show a large gas grill in front of each cottage. We were a group of 14 people, and stayed in two cottages, one yurt, and a tent site for three nights. We had planned meals for 14 people relying on the grills. The lack of grills made cooking very difficult. Their office hours are 9am to 5pm. We were out hiking during those hours so we couldn't speak to them. After I came back from the hiking trip, I sent them a message about the discrepancy on the facility (that's why I gave one star) but I still haven't heard from them. The misleading photographs lead to difficulty with cooking.

Good location near Yosemite park. Cottages are ok, necessities provided. Unfortunately not clean, no wifi or tv in the cottage. Common lodge only open until 8pm, while this is a nice place with pool tables etc.

The location was very well kept and very clean public bathrooms with public showers that are phenomenal. The wreck area has a lot for families to do for kids to enjoy as well but it’s just a 40 minute drive to get to Yosemite village.

Soiled linens were piled in the bathroom when we arrived. No sheets or towels. We arrived late, so we had no way to get any sheets or towels. We slept with sweaters over us, absolute terrible experience. Site was extremely crowded with RVs and creepy neighbors sitting in the dark staring. We booked 2 nights and only stayed one, it was so bad. Avoid this place.

Cabins are absolutely filthy. It felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Provided bedding had a sticky substance on it and smelled like weed. Kitchen cookware and utensils dirty. Floor cakes dirt. Had to walk around with sandals on and put sheets on the couch to feel remotely comfortable. WiFi is not free and does work. Would never stay here again.

Overall, a disappointing stay. Not at all as depicted in the pictures. I never did find the bathroom or showers. I'd really like to talk to the guests that rated this place so highly to find out why my experience was less than stellar. The little cabin wasn't dirty, but it wasn't really clean. The sheets, blankets, etc. were a mismatched hodgepodge and I really couldn't tell what was clean and what wasn't. The refrigerator buzzed so loudly, I could hardly sleep. The office hours didn't align with my plans each day so I wasn't able to get or give more information. Plus, with minimal cell service, I couldnt call. I definitely could not recommend and I wonder if the parent organization is aware of this property's condition.

Don't waste your money on the cabins. Maybe if it were half the price it would've been fine. The cabin had cobwebs and heavy dust everywhere. There were bugs, loose hair on the sheets and towels, and lights not working - we were excited to take a long, hot shower only to find that the cabin had maybe two minutes' worth of hot water. Our showers were FREEZING. The kicker was blood on one of the pillowcases. Moreover, every communication pathway - booking emails, campground signage, and printed guides - had completely different info listings for camp amenities. For example, our booking confirmation AND welcome email from the campground said the camp store would be open until 9, and we were arriving around 8 p.m. - since the Yosemite area is fairly remote, we planned to get food at the store when we arrived. Nope - it had closed at 6. So we had no food and water, and no wood to have a bonfire like we had planned. As far as we could tell, the activities lodge wasn't open at all - we went by and checked it out, and later heard another camper mention it was constantly closed at the front desk. The employees were all very kind, but it seemed extremely disorganized - including us trying to finalize our check-in with a brand new employee, day 2 on the job, whose supervisor/trainer had apparently decided not to show up to work that day. Don't waste your money, stay somewhere that actually provides the amenities you are paying for.

This property was a great experience. I do not recommend if you’re dependent on your phone. There was no cellphone reception or a reliable wifi signal. Other than that, it was a beautiful stay and easy to check in and check out of. Cabin was in great condition and it was neatly organized!

Cabin itself was great for 1-2 adults & 1-2 small children. Fully furnished kitchen, multiple heat & air conditioning units. Wi-Fi was too weak for my phone to connect, luckily I brought books & watched tv. The owner of this resort needs to buy 20 plus loads of gravel and fill the oversize pot holes in the driveways, one was large enough to swallow up a Volkswagen Beetle, ridiculous that no attention has been taken to fill in these holes and smooth out driveways.

We stayed in a bunkhouse and it was AMAZING!!! We loved the fan, mini fridge, heater, beds, bedding, bathrooms were super tidy and comfortable. Showers were spacious, tidy and free. Bring a shower caddy for easiest use!

For the price, location, and privacy this was perfect for me. I stayed in a bunkhouse after Labor Day weekend, so off season. The bunkhouse was clean enough and large, I was surprised it had electricity with light, a fan and a fridge. Very quiet, couldn’t hear the other campers nearby. The bathrooms and showers were shared but clean and I rarely saw anyone else when I used them. To get into the park is a drive regardless of where you stay, unless you get a space in the park itself so I was prepared for that (it’s about a 50 min drive to get to Yosemite valley most trail as a reference). A short walk away was a gas station with food basics and souvenirs. Good for Tuloumne meadows branch off if you’re trying to explore there.

This is a campsite & not a hotel at all. They provided bunkhouse with no water, no restroom. Restroom were located 3 blocks away from bunkhouse and was common between multiple camps & bunkhouses. Only on toilet & only 2 open bathrooms among 10+ campers.

Overall, we had a good stay. Our cabin was nice, clean and had all the amenities we needed for a few days. The office staff is very nice and helpful. The property itself is in need of a lot of maintenance especially the cabins. There is no cell signal (at least for Verizon) and Wi-Fi is only available in 2 main buildings. We really only wanted signal for maps, weather, the occasional check-in at home, and safety (bears and fires are a concern). I am torn on whether or not I would stay here again.

400 units here and 4 computers at welcome desk, but only one, overworked employee there. I ran front desk at Old Faithful Inn--only 327 units, but we always had more coverage than 1 person. I understand if they tried but couldn't hired anyone, but I don't understand "won't hire more" which is the impression I received while there.

Very convenient location if you visit Yosemite Valley.Communication is poor,they upgraded my bunkhouse to cabin without letting me know and were asking for additional 400$ for upgrade that I didn’t ask to do.Spend a lot of time trying to get my originally booked bunkhouse back.Very cute bunkhouse but was dirty inside.

We were a group of 14 people, and stayed in two cottages, one yurt, and a tent site for three nights. We had planned meals for 14 people relying on the grills. The lack of grills made cooking very difficult. Their office hours are 9am to 5pm. We were out hiking during those hours so we couldn't speak to them. After I came back from the hiking trip, I sent them a message about the discrepancy on the facility (that's why I gave one star) but I still haven't heard from them. The location was very well kept and very clean public bathrooms with public showers that are phenomenal. The wreck area has a lot for families to do for kids to enjoy as well but it’s just a 40 minute drive to get to Yosemite village.

Came here to celebrate my Mom's birthday. Safe to say she was super happy with the place! She always loved glamping and she really loved our yurt. She loves the kitchenette complete with all the mugs, the plates and the pans. The insulation works really well because we didn't feel cold at night at all with just one heater. The only 2 bad thing is the TV doesn't work. We tried to turn it on, and it doesn't work. Our yurt was at the end of the yurt village and there's no service at all. We were expecting wifi but the wifi is only available mostly outside of the yurt and one part of the yurt, the corner of a dining table. So I was bummed out, but either way we were there to enjoy nature.

Great 1 bedroom cabin, just minor feedback. Linen specifically said when booked was included, but, it wasn't anywhere to be found, however, there was a couple of blankets, good thing I have packed a couple of sets to use. Stove top ventilation wasn't working so, each time we cooked, the smoke alarm was going off, opening the window was the only option however, being in the low 30's in the evening. Great 1 bedroom cabin, just minor feedback. Linen specifically said when booked was included, but, it wasn't anywhere to be found, however, there was a couple of blankets, good thing I have packed a couple of sets to use. Stove top ventilation wasn't working so, each time we cooked, the smoke alarm was going off, opening the window was the only option however, being in the low 30's in the evening. Staff was on the rude side . Overall excellent place to hang out with family and have good meals with enjoy quality time and have fun swimming by the river. Best location to make it to the Yosemite hike in early .

Great concept, horrible execution... They clearly don't clean themselves and expect us to clean before we leave. The electronics like AC are out of date and falling apart. The bed was horrible.

It was such a great experience for our family the place is amazing just the cleaning was a little poor. The sofa had some rats poop so it was a little awkward

Great place to stay and enjoy the outdoors. Even just to be there is nice without necessarily going to Yosemite National Park. The cabin we stayed at had everything we needed and it also includes towels even though they were not included in the list of amenities and Google said they were not included. Staff was nice once you talked to them, but did not really talk to you before then.

Stay was great overall. However, there is NO wifi in the camping area. You will either have to be in the club house, or in the office. The rule is quiet time after 10pm, but there is no enforcement for that and most don't follow the rule. So, bring white noise and make sure you're okay with no contact with the outside. BUT a awesome time in the lake, plenty to do and the main area of Yosemite is an hour East.
