Everything was good about Selina, including the lovely cafe downstairs and the friendly staff, and the location, except for two things. The room was a bit small, and didn't feel very private, especially for a couple. But the main problem was that the room is off a large courtyard that's available for use at all hours, and sometimes folks would be out there until late at night talking and laughing and making it hard to sleep without the use of white noise on our phone. I would suggest that the hotel institute quiet hours after 10. If people want to hang out, they can do so in the cafe area or roof deck.

Nos hospedamos 3 noches en este Hotel. Es lindo, de buen gusto en la decoracion. Tranquilo, Cerca de todos los lugares de interes. Los fines de semana hay una feria artesanal en la plaza que esta a menos de 100 metros Las habitaciones, por lo menos la nuestra era pequeña, sin placard, solo con unas barras para colgar, sin TV, y solo el baño estuvo bien. Tiene una cocina comunitaria donde esta todo organizado para q la gente pueda compartir. El desayuno que sirven es a la carta y realmente es exquisito. La gente del bar es amable, y uno de los chicos que nos atendio de nombre Joaquin fue excelente en todo momento. No estoy segura pero... creo q mas q HOTEL se parece mas a HOSTEL. Igualmente estuvimos bien, disfrutando de la Ciudad y no tendria ningun problema en volver algun dia. Solo quisiera ponerle un NEGATIVO a la senorita recepcionista de la mañana que tendria que desayunar mas DULCE para ver si la ayuda porque es muy desagradable... no da ni las "Bienvenidas". Es bonito llegar a un lugar y q la persona encargada de recibirte lo haga con una sonrisa, por lo menos! BIenvenido, Por favor y Gracias deberian formar parte de su vocabulario. Muchas gracias.

Good hostel, but there was an issue. There are 2 main reasons why I choose this hostel instead of other alternatives: 1 — Cooking 2 — Co-working. Cooking was OK, but there was no co-working, and it was advertised. Considering that I have booked for the whole week, I think the least they could do is sending a message to those who had reservation stating that there are no dedicated co-working space anymore. I had to spend the entire week working in the kitchen, in the same place where other people were speaking and eating, including their employees. Considering this was advertised, I was not happy, because I was charged the same. Other than that, they have nice spaces, but the rest is average. Nothing very special.

Das Hotel ist genial gelegen zwischen Ausgehviertel und Altstadt. Die Lobby und Bar ist ausgesprochen schön und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Das Zimmer war etwas eng (Wir waren zu dritt im Viererzimmer), aber für den fairen Preis kann man nichts sagen… Empfehlenswert!

O hotel é bem bonito e bem localizado. A cama e os travesseiros muito confortáveis. Tinha porém alguns problemas bem chatos: talheres sujos, toalha de banho rasgada (2 buracos grandes) e a água de todo ar condicionado do hotel goteja a madrugada toda num cano de metal e parece tortura. De resto tudo bem

Staff is great, hotel is creatively decorated. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are not quiet at all. We stayed in two rooms over two stays. In one room you could hear the folk music concert next door every night. In the second room, the restroom conveyed sounds from the adjacent room as of there were no wall there at all. Great location.

Selina Hotels always have an amazing and cozy lobby and restaurant. The room was very small but for one night it was fine. They shouldn’t allowed smoking in the inside courtyard.

Everything was perfect. The room was a good size, with a pleasant atmosphere, clean, and the staff was friendly. The only point I believe could be improved is the pricing of the breakfast. For instance, if you want toast, eggs, fruit salad, coffee, orange juice, and sparkling water, a few meters outside the property, you would pay around 7,500, while within the property, the price exceeds 10,000. (The standard breakfast costs about 8,000 but includes bacon and sausage. Since I’m vegetarian, I asked to replace these with yogurt, and the price increased to over 10,000.)

I really enjoyed my stay at Selina Salta. I stayed in a private room which was very spacious, clean and so nicely decorated. It had a TV, fridge and nespresso machine. The shower was hot and food water pressure. The bed was very comfortable. Location is excellent - a short walk to restaurants and the central plaza. I felt safe as a solo female traveler. Wifi also good and nice shared spaces (outdoor area, kitchen). The staff were so helpful throughout the stay. They can help with booking tours. However, I ended up booking tours with a different travel agent (Tiamar) as they offered English speaking tours on some days, whereas the hostel didn’t so much (not uncommon). The only downside was that it’s right next to a Peña (a cool local restaurant/bar that has a folk show every night). Great if you want to go and experience the culture, but I can be quite loud until the show ends at 2am. If you’re on the side of the building next to the Peña (which I was), you’ll be able to hear everything. Ear plugs helped! Overall, I would recommend but perhaps ask for a room on the opposite side to the Peña!

Great location close to many excellent restaurants and city Center. Very welcoming, friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Very comfortable bed. The only negative was a lack of hot water in the evening for a shower, but this was corrected the next day.

Fuimos con mucha ilusion y expectativas y la verdad nos ha dedraudado un poco. El baño no se correspondia con la foto publicada (nos quejamos y nos dijeron que era un error y que ni siquiera pertenecia a ese establecimiento). La habitacion era diminuta, a penas había espacio para poner las maletas. Tuvimos una incidencia, nos abrieron la puerta de la habitación a las 4am (es cierto que la cerraron inmediatamente y no fue a más) pero me parece totalmente inadecuado. Nos quejamos y se disculparon pero lo cierto es que nos parece una situación completamente fuera de lugar. Lamentablemente nuestra experiencia no fue nada positiva.

In one room you could hear the folk music concert next door every night. In the second room, the restroom conveyed sounds from the adjacent room as of there were no wall there at all. Great location.

I really enjoyed my stay at Selina Salta. I stayed in a private room which was very spacious, clean and so nicely decorated. It had a TV, fridge and nespresso machine. The shower was hot and food water pressure. The bed was very comfortable. Location is excellent - a short walk to restaurants and the central plaza. I felt safe as a solo female traveler. Wifi also good and nice shared spaces (outdoor area, kitchen). The staff were so helpful throughout the stay. They can help with booking tours. However, I ended up booking tours with a different travel agent (Tiamar) as they offered English speaking tours on some days, whereas the hostel didn’t so much (not uncommon). The only downside was that it’s right next to a Peña (a cool local restaurant/bar that has a folk show every night). Great if you want to go and experience the culture, but I can be quite loud until the show ends at 2am. If you’re on the side of the building next to the Peña (which I was), you’ll be able to hear everything. Ear plugs helped! Overall, I would recommend but perhaps ask for a room on the opposite side to the Peña!

Great location close to many excellent restaurants and city Center. Very welcoming, friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Very comfortable bed. The only negative was a lack of hot water in the evening for a shower, but this was corrected the next day.

Everything was perfect. The room was a good size, with a pleasant atmosphere, clean, and the staff was friendly. The only point I believe could be improved is the pricing of the breakfast. For instance, if you want toast, eggs, fruit salad, coffee, orange juice, and sparkling water, a few meters outside the property, you would pay around 7,500, while within the property, the price exceeds 10,000. (The standard breakfast costs about 8,000 but includes bacon and sausage. Since I’m vegetarian, I asked to replace these with yogurt, and the price increased to over 10,000.)

Nos hospedamos 3 noches en este Hotel. Es lindo, de buen gusto en la decoracion. Tranquilo, Cerca de todos los lugares de interes. Los fines de semana hay una feria artesanal en la plaza que esta a menos de 100 metros Las habitaciones, por lo menos la nuestra era pequeña, sin placard, solo con unas barras para colgar, sin TV, y solo el baño estuvo bien. Tiene una cocina comunitaria donde esta todo organizado para q la gente pueda compartir. El desayuno que sirven es a la carta y realmente es exquisito. La gente del bar es amable, y uno de los chicos que nos atendio de nombre Joaquin fue excelente en todo momento. No estoy segura pero... creo q mas q HOTEL se parece mas a HOSTEL. Igualmente estuvimos bien, disfrutando de la Ciudad y no tendria ningun problema en volver algun dia. Solo quisiera ponerle un NEGATIVO a la senorita recepcionista de la mañana que tendria que desayunar mas DULCE para ver si la ayuda porque es muy desagradable... no da ni las "Bienvenidas". Es bonito llegar a un lugar y q la persona encargada de recibirte lo haga con una sonrisa, por lo menos! BIenvenido, Por favor y Gracias deberian formar parte de su vocabulario. Muchas gracias.
