Very friendly reception, nice and clean room, this was a great choice and would highly recommend. No elevator but it was no big deal for us to simply carry our luggage up the stairs. It was also in a nice area and convenient to the local area. Great experience, we would stay there again!

The location was perfect, once we found it. Lots of shops and cafes walking distance. No lift, and stayed on top floor. Really difficult to get up with luggage.

I stayed here for four nights in the beginning of April and loved it! At first it was a bit confusing as I made my way to the main office to be told that the apartment was still a few blocks away, but the man at the front desk was very helpful and even walked me to the apartment and carried my very heavy bag over the little bridges haha. The apartment itself was amazing, on a quiet street with a kitchen where I could store my daily findings at the market and any other goodies I could find. The bedroom overlooked the canal through little shuttered windows and the bed was comfortable. Wifi was good and the washing machine was a game changer for someone who was on a three week trip! As a solo female traveller I felt safe and had no worries exploring the city. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic and the woman serving breakfast was very accomodating. We loved the outdoor space on the rooftop. Our room was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. The location was very convenient for us.

This is a quaint, no frills property in a great location. The staff are the nicest people! Cute little patio area. It is not a fancy hotel, but clean and in a great location.

One block from the main drag making it really easy to join the party while having silence in the unit. Really cool to have windows that open right onto the canal. Unit had 4 rooms including full euro-kitchen. AC and heat.

The room provided plenty of space to move around and was very comfortable. We even had a balcony. The location was walking distance to all major attractions. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. We had continental breakfast delivered every morning and it was included. I would definitely recommend Al Portico Guest house for your stay in Venice.

Très bonne expérience. L'hôtel est au calme et tous les sites remarquables sont faisables à pied. L'hôte est très accueillant , donne de très bons conseils pour visiter la ville. Chambre propre et suffisamment grande, lit confortable.Petit déjeuner copieux. Parfait, à l'image de la ville.

Great location, although a bit noisy sometimes because of the nearby fondamenta, and very friendly staff, but the apartment definitely needs some love, maybe a couch and a comfier mattress.

the staff gave incredible info of the area, best spots to go and transportation guide upon arrival was super helpful! and our room was very clean, cleaners came daily to upkeep the room with new towels and free cappuccino pods. 10/10 stay would book again!

The hotel is very well located, closed to touristic places by walk (San Marco place, Dulce Palace etc.) That's the only good point. Unfortunately, walls are too much thin and people including the staff are very noisy. It is impossible to sleep well after 9h30 am. The staff is speaking to loudly even in front of your dors like they were alone. No respect shown. From the bed, we have heard everything from doors slamming to footsteps in the corridor. Moreover, our shower was broken I asked the staff to fix it the 1st day after arrival but nothing has been done....The price paid is not fair according the level of service proposed by the hotel.

El trato muy amable por parte del.personal. El lugar muy limpio y ordenado. Lo unico complicado es el acceso con el equipaje porque es por las escaleras, pero el personal te ayuda a subirlas y a bajarlas en el check in y el check out.

Nice & clean facility. Room & bathroom are actually more spacious in person than in photos. Would stay here again but it’s location is a littler further out if you plan to walk to attractions in San Marco. Very friendly staff!

It was a very easy walk from the train station. (Don’t cross the first bridge, it is the second one from the train station). It is easy to get lost in Venice. We found exploring Venice was challenging in a good way. Nicola( our host) was encouraging when he said to explore and get lost.
