Canceled my room 2 months before, by then there was nothing available except a few high dollar places to stay

It's actually a "residential" hotel. Very sketchy looking, but no indications of drug activity. The previous tenant left their clothing in the drawers & took the remote for the TV. We advised the office, so we wouldn't be charged for the missing remote. The bed had new sheets, but the bathroom looked nasty.

Although they allowed my dog in this instance for a 30$ fee, they informed me they no longer accept pets. After seeing the room, I'm not sure why they would care... debris on the floor as well as the bed, a coat of dust on the head board and an unlikable smell throughout the room. There was a fridge that was off with the door closed, it was plugged into an outlet that needed to be turned on by a switch over 6' away. Unfortunately, it was damp and smelly as well. We sat in the room about 1and1/2hrs, long enough to find a different hotel to stay turned in our key and left. Having to forfeit about 112$.

I did not read previous reviews, they were accurate, this place was old probably has original furniture from 1950s, bed was ok, I should have stay at a better place though. Bathroom was in really bad shape. Place needs some work.
