The hotel is in a really nice part of Valparaiso with lots of restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious and well-lit. The bathroom was also quite big and the shower was really nice. The staff were super helpful and gave us lots of information about the area and places to visit. The rooftop terrace is lovely with excellent views.

This is a gorgeous property in the Cerro Alegre, walkable to everything. The staff was professional and helpful - and spoke English, which was much appreciated as we arrived after traveling for 24 hours! The breakfast was terrific, the room large and well-appointed. Highly recommend!

Perfect location for exploring Valpo by foot with a superb view from the rooftop terrace. The staff is super friendly and helpful with tips in the area, transfers to the airport in Santiago or just at the breakfast buffet. Our rooms were spacious and clean. Overall, very nice stay. The loft was spacious and furnished nicely. Property was clean, and staff were very friendly. It was a bit of a hike to any of the major sites, but Valparaiso is very hilly.

This place is far and away the best in the area. Facilities are new and clean (which is not true of other places nearby). The staff is super helpful, and the breakfast was wonderful. Will definitely stay here again next time we come.

The location and staff for this hotel were very good. After touring the entire city it became clear that this hotel is in the best location. The staff was always very helpful. We had one tour scheduled to start early in the AM so the staff was eager to prepare a breakfast for us to eat in our room as their breakfast time did not start until 8:30. However, the cleanliness was questionable. I didn't pack my slippers so I walked around my room barefoot. Before going to bed I looked at the bottom of my feet and they were totally black. From then on I wore socks, but had to throw them away.

We did not arrive until late at night. The hotel was expecting us. They called us by name and greeted us with a friendly smile Check in was quick. The fellow took our bags up to our room for us, set us up on Wi-Fi and answered any questions we had. The room was large and lovely and overlooked Valpariso Bay. The bathroom was fully renovated, and there was a small kitchen more like a studio apartments. The place was spotless and secure. Breakfast the next day was tasty and eggs were cooked to order. There was an elevator which came quickly. We will stay there again in a heartbeat. We will be back to Valpariso, as there’s much to see and do.

Nice hotel, but quite overpriced for what it offers. We were the only ones staying in the entire hotel the day we visited. We were initially put in a loud double bed room but they did move us to quieter room with a larger bed facing the sea, which was nice. The breakfast on the terrace was lovely even on a cloudy day.

Es un Hotel muy tranquilo y bonito por dentro. La atención es excelente y la verdad es un lugar muy accesible a pie, aunque hay que estar preparado físicamente de piernas. La habitación trae cocina y artículos para cocinar y comer, lo cual no es habitual y me pareció excelente. Sin duda volvería a quedarme en este lugar ya que en Valparaíso cuesta encontrar sitios de esta categoría, tranquilidad y paisaje. Lo único que tardó un poquito fue el check-in, pero no alcanza si quiera para empañar la buena experiencia en el lugar.

Great location in Valpo. All of the staff was very helpful and went out of their way to assist us—stored a lot of luggage for us, helped us bring it to our room, and was very responsive. Breakfast was cooked to order and kitchen staff was also very nice. A small boutique hotel that delivered.

The hotel is in a really nice part of Valparaiso with lots of restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious and well-lit. The bathroom was also quite big and the shower was really nice. The staff were super helpful and gave us lots of information about the area and places to visit. The rooftop terrace is lovely with excellent views.

Overall, very nice stay. The loft was spacious and furnished nicely. Property was clean, and staff were very friendly. It was a bit of a hike to any of the major sites, but Valparaiso is very hilly.

This is a gorgeous property in the Cerro Alegre, walkable to everything. The staff was professional and helpful - and spoke English, which was much appreciated as we arrived after traveling for 24 hours! The breakfast was terrific, the room large and well-appointed. Highly recommend!

Es un Hotel muy tranquilo y bonito por dentro. La atención es excelente y la verdad es un lugar muy accesible a pie, aunque hay que estar preparado físicamente de piernas. La habitación trae cocina y artículos para cocinar y comer, lo cual no es habitual y me pareció excelente. Sin duda volvería a quedarme en este lugar ya que en Valparaíso cuesta encontrar sitios de esta categoría, tranquilidad y paisaje. Lo único que tardó un poquito fue el check-in, pero no alcanza si quiera para empañar la buena experiencia en el lugar.

Perfect location for exploring Valpo by foot with a superb view from the rooftop terrace. The staff is super friendly and helpful with tips in the area, transfers to the airport in Santiago or just at the breakfast buffet. Our rooms were spacious and clean. The whole house seems to be very well managed.

Wonderful and very helpful stay They were all great It’s very hard walk around the hotel since the hole city is on a huge hill We had a few problems with no internet on the third floor where our suite was for the last day so couldn’t see movies Also big problem with the shower with the water being scorching hot and a dribble of cold. They said it couldn’t get fix because of water pressure. So very difficult and almost impossible to shower and we were there 5 nights The last small problem was the toilet seat did not line up with the toilet so you needed to be careful so not to fall in and that couldn’t be fix without tools and complicated Other then that very nice place and nice staff

Casa Galos was a very nicely done complete remodel of an old mansion up the hill in Cerro Conception Valpo with a rooftop deck and great view of the harbor, and close to several excellent restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast healthy and fresh. I highly recommend it.

Great location in Valpo. All of the staff was very helpful and went out of their way to assist us—stored a lot of luggage for us, helped us bring it to our room, and was very responsive. Breakfast was cooked to order and kitchen staff was also very nice. A small boutique hotel that delivered.

Rooms really nice, comfortable and spacious. Very light. Great area, so happy we stayed around here. Coffee at breakfast was terrible but that seemed to be the case for all of Chile.

Great spot to stay. Staff were ever helpful and friendly. Convenient location. Breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend. We didn’t use the small kitchen but it is fully equipped with pots/pans, etc.

I struggled with this one. The staff were great, the bed, albeit a little soft, was quite comfortable. Linens were nice. The breakfast was quite good, The reason for 2 stars is only due to almost NO HOT water. We booked a 3 night stay in a deluxe room on the 3rd floor. #5. I was only able to have one shower with some hot water. My wife boiled water in the kettle and tried to clean up in the bathtub. They do say it takes five minutes for the hot water to come, but there was essentially no pressure (only an trickle) and throughout our stay with the exception of one time, hot water never came. We tried early morning , afternoon and evening to take a shower. It’s too bad because there’s a beautiful bathtub in this unit. I spoke to the staff a couple times about the issue. I heard it’s a common issue. I do you like the hotel, the view from the roof and our room, the staff…however, having a shower and getting cleaned up on a daily basis is important.
