Nice peaceful site. Staff friendly. Pleasantly surprised to be given a later check out time. Could do with written instructions re: using heating, what do do with keys & rubbish when leaving. We would have liked to bring a campervan, but site was very waterlogged, to the extent that earthworms were evacuating the grassed areas! Drainage works very much needed.

Lovely pod. Could do with a couple of bedside tables and a couple of wooden chairs indoors for when it’s raining, but good size to feel comfortable. Ablution block clean and warm. All in all, a positive stay. Thank you!

Perfect little pod to stay for a short trip. Lovely location, very clean accommodation with basic amenities for the good price. Very friendly staff on arrival and check out. Would stay again.

Staff very friendly and pod perfect. Great for me and pooch. Lots of space for her to run around and behind through an access point is High Woods, perfect for dogs. The downer is the rubbish. Bins overflowing and not being emptied daily especially poo bins which is a shame as its an easy fix. Showers are fine but of the 4 toilets one has a broken seat and the other is coming away from the floor. I'm sure once fixed it'll be 5* throughout.

The glamping pod looked lovely and was very clean, as were the toilets & showers. I didn't see any staff until my last day when I was able to give feedback about there being no hot water in any of the hand basins in the ladies' washroom (although the showers were great). I also reported that the mattress was very uncomfortable with protruding springs and was assured that both defects would be rectified. I also mentioned that I found the site very dark once the sun had gone down, but it was only later that I realised why that was. Many of the lights installed around the field were not working and some were very faint compared to others. I connected to the free WiFi but wasn't able to access the internet for the whole of my stay due to a very weak/non-existent signal.

We stayed in the Cabin which is tucked away in the corner of the park. This was very quiet and very homely and the hot tub was nice bonus. Rooms were comfortable, everything was great for the length of our stay. Will definitely book again if in the area

Lovely winter option. Pod was cosy and warm. Shower/toilet block was excellent. Kettle and a few tea/coffee amenities provided which was lovely. Only thing the pod could have done with was a nightstand/bedside table for glasses, phone etc as ended up using one of the fold up wooden chairs. Mattress was very soft so if you’re used to a firm mattress just make note.

We couldn’t lock our Pod from inside and wife didn’t feel safe without the door locked, so spent the night trying to sleep in the car outside the Pod. We couldn’t contact anyone after 7pm and didn’t get to the Pod and find the not working internal lock till 10:30pm.

Showers are fine but of the 4 toilets one has a broken seat and the other is coming away from the floor. I'm sure once fixed it'll be 5* throughout.

Nice peaceful site. Staff friendly. Pleasantly surprised to be given a later check out time. Could do with written instructions re: using heating, what do do with keys & rubbish when leaving. We would have liked to bring a campervan, but site was very waterlogged, to the extent that earthworms were evacuating the grassed areas! Drainage works very much needed.

Perfect little pod to stay for a short trip. Lovely location, very clean accommodation with basic amenities for the good price. Very friendly staff on arrival and check out. Would stay again.

Staff very friendly and pod perfect. Great for me and pooch. Lots of space for her to run around and behind through an access point is High Woods, perfect for dogs. The downer is the rubbish. Bins overflowing and not being emptied daily especially poo bins which is a shame as its an easy fix. We stayed in the Cabin which is tucked away in the corner of the park. This was very quiet and very homely and the hot tub was nice bonus. Rooms were comfortable, everything was great for the length of our stay. Will definitely book again if in the area

Quite possibly the nicest place we’ve stayed at! Lovely cabin tucked in the corner next to a field full of sheep’s, private garden area, hot tub, just amazing! Loved every minute there, peaceful, comfortable and very relaxing! I would suggest a name change on either the cabin or the paperwork though as we had to double check with reception that “chesnut cabin” was “the cabin” as we didn’t want to walk into the wrong one.

On arrival the pod was clean and the heat was switched on for us. The room had a kettle and plates with cutlery, very basic but all we needed.

It was very warm and welcoming. Bed very comfy, only thing I would say is there should be 2 bedside tables. Definitely be coming back.
