Lovely one night stay. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Food and breakfast was delicious. Spacious and comfortable room for 2 adults and 1 child. Pool not suitable for toddler as no child pool. Also was open to public classes etc so changing room was busy and time restricted as result of classes, so check in advance as suggested by reception. But overall ideal location and great hotel.

Visiting family and got to see the home my grandmother grew up in! The hotel staff were warm and welcoming and our stay was comfortable. The “pool” was definitely not for relaxing. It’s an exercise club and lap swimming was intense. The sauna was awesome though! Food was excellent!

Nice hotel. There was a lot of noise in the atrium area on Saturday night. My room (308) was big but quite dark. Most of the tv channels didn’t work and the shower set up is very dated. The bed was very comfortable and it was clean. The bar food and breakfast were excellent and the service outstanding. It also has 6 EV chargers.

Place is functional but lacks a bit of soul. Food was very good but no atmosphere in the bar. Would be grand for business trip but not romantic. Staff were very helpful and upgraded us which made our stay satisfying. Nothing wrong with the hotel as such but nothing memorable either.

Very nice and clean hotel with good modern bedrooms. Good restaurant and bar, the food was very nice. Gym was a decent size and not too busy.

We were warmly welcomed by Jamie who was very friendly and helpful. We were thrilled to be upgraded to a Suite which was really lovely. Comfortable bed. Thank you Arianna First night - we had our evening meal in the Atrium. All food was so delicious and served promptly (Downside - I ordered a drink from. the bar - it didnt come. We ordered tea/coffee after our meal - they didnt come either. When paying, the Manager was upset and apologised. He offered to compensate with a free drink the following night. We did not avail as we ate in other restaurants the other evenings) Hardly any sleep. It was a warm night. Even with heating switched off the EXTREMELY heavy duvet was unbearable. For the rest of the stay, only the cover of the duvet was used! Many other guests were the same. Room was very spacious. Jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Very high quality of soap, shampoo etc Breakfast choices - just ok but it was lovely to have the hot food served. Overall, the hotel could do with a refurb - wallpaper falling off in places (at lifts for example) Hasnt a really pristine feeling.Staff are very pleasant. Domestic staff extremely helpful. All in all a good stay. LOADS of parking.

I was a solo traveller and thoroughly enjoyed my five-day stay at the Cavan Crystal Hotel. My room was lovely, spacious, and spotless. All the staff were accommodating and friendly. A good choice of food for breakfast. I loved my daily cup of tea and biscuits in my hotel room. I particularly enjoyed the facilities at Zest Leisure Centre. The Gym, changing rooms and pool are kept to a good standard. It does say on the app that you need to wear a swimming hat, and I purchased this at the Leisure Centre Desk. The leisure centre can be busy in the evenings and certain parts of the day, so I would visit during quieter times—a lovely hotel in a good location.

We had a very pleasant stay at Cavan Crystal Hotel. We had two comfortable rooms for 4 people. It was our son's birthday and he received a lovely birthday plate on arrival, which was very well received, thank you. Unfortunately we were not aware that the pool does not allow under 16's after 7pm and so the same birthday boy could not avail of the swimming pool that evening.

We stayed here on the Wednesday 13th of August. We checked in around 8pm and booked dinner for 8:30 that’s were our first issue with the service started, we were seated and not approached for 10 mins, once approached by a waiter we put our food order in. A fish and chips, burger and chip, sausages and mash for our 1 year old daughter. And a coke and Diet Coke. The food took 30 mins too come out, the fish was cold, my wives chips/fries were cold, and my daughters mash were cold. Nobody came to ask us did we want another drink or if we were happy with the food once we got the food. We quickly paid at the bar and left to go to our room.(the Barman was great) Our room was like a sauna, and dirty, my daughter found 3 haribo sweets, a small toy tractor and a sock. I called reception regarding how hot it was in our room too see if we could get a fan, too Wich there response was there should be one in your room, wich there was not. Then they proceeded to tell me the only fan they had left was broke, 40 mins later they came up with a fan. Very poorly organized and the staff for a “4 star hotel” is something I did not expect. Will not be back.

Had a lovely one night stay in July. Friendly welcome from reception. Well appointed room with a very comfortable bed. Good selection at breakfast, prompt service for special hot items. Would consider staying again and for longer next time.

Lovely hotel for a night’s stay. Good food both dinner and breakfast. Nice size of room and comfy bed but quite hot even with window open (quilt too heavy for time of year). Good value, would recommend.

This hotel is fantastic. Rooms are very spacious and the beds are so big and comfy- no 2 single beds pushed together craic- full Superking beds. The food is excellent and the staff are brilliant! Lovely area outside to sit and eat or have a drink. The breakfast is delicious and great choice on menu. I stay here quite often and look forward to it every time.

Lovely room, although it can get hot and stuffy, as you can’t open the window. The hotel is looking a bit tired compared to my stay last year. Service is good and the breakfast is lovely.

The hotel is very nice, the staff are extremely friendly and professional. I travel around the country alot in my job and wifi is essential, unfortunately in the room the wifi was very unstable and made working almost impossible.
The hotel is very nice, the staff are extremely friendly and professional. I travel around the country alot in my job and wifi is essential, unfortunately in the room the wifi was very unstable and made working almost impossible.

We stayed here on the Wednesday 13th of August. We checked in around 8pm and booked dinner for 8:30 that’s were our first issue with the service started, we were seated and not approached for 10 mins, once approached by a waiter we put our food order in. A fish and chips, burger and chip, sausages and mash for our 1 year old daughter. And a coke and Diet Coke. The food took 30 mins too come out, the fish was cold, my wives chips/fries were cold, and my daughters mash were cold. Nobody came to ask us did we want another drink or if we were happy with the food once we got the food. We quickly paid at the bar and left to go to our room.(the Barman was great) Our room was like a sauna, and dirty, my daughter found 3 haribo sweets, a small toy tractor and a sock. I called reception regarding how hot it was in our room too see if we could get a fan, too Wich there response was there should be one in your room, wich there was not. Then they proceeded to tell me the only fan they had left was broke, 40 mins later they came up with a fan. Very poorly organized and the staff for a “4 star hotel” is something I did not expect. Will not be back.

We were warmly welcomed by Jamie who was very friendly and helpful. We were thrilled to be upgraded to a Suite which was really lovely. Comfortable bed. Thank you Arianna First night - we had our evening meal in the Atrium. All food was so delicious and served promptly (Downside - I ordered a drink from. the bar - it didnt come. We ordered tea/coffee after our meal - they didnt come either. When paying, the Manager was upset and apologised. He offered to compensate with a free drink the following night. We did not avail as we ate in other restaurants the other evenings) Hardly any sleep. It was a warm night. Even with heating switched off the EXTREMELY heavy duvet was unbearable. For the rest of the stay, only the cover of the duvet was used! Many other guests were the same. Room was very spacious. Jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Very high quality of soap, shampoo etc Breakfast choices - just ok but it was lovely to have the hot food served. Overall, the hotel could do with a refurb - wallpaper falling off in places (at lifts for example) Hasnt a really pristine feeling.Staff are very pleasant. Domestic staff extremely helpful. All in all a good stay. LOADS of parking.

Loved our stay with a 5 month old, cot in room when we arrived. Room was very comfortable. Staff were excellent especially the barman on duty Wednesday 9th. Can’t remember his name. We can’t wait to return.

We booked into our room at 2pm and unpacked. We returned to our room at 10pm to find another family in our room. Went to reception….was given our belongings thrown into our bag, which was left opened, given a verbal apology and given another room. Surely we deserved more than a verbal apology….and it from the receptionist…not even the manager!!!

Lovely one night stay. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Food and breakfast was delicious. Spacious and comfortable room for 2 adults and 1 child. Pool not suitable for toddler as no child pool. Also was open to public classes etc so changing room was busy and time restricted as result of classes, so check in advance as suggested by reception. But overall ideal location and great hotel.

The hotel was in a perfect location for our travels meeting up with our family. The great breakfast gave us a good start to each day. I was particularly pleased as there was an excellent selection for me-I am only able to eat gluten-free. Well done!

I was a solo traveller and thoroughly enjoyed my five-day stay at the Cavan Crystal Hotel. My room was lovely, spacious, and spotless. All the staff were accommodating and friendly. A good choice of food for breakfast. I loved my daily cup of tea and biscuits in my hotel room. I particularly enjoyed the facilities at Zest Leisure Centre. The Gym, changing rooms and pool are kept to a good standard. It does say on the app that you need to wear a swimming hat, and I purchased this at the Leisure Centre Desk. The leisure centre can be busy in the evenings and certain parts of the day, so I would visit during quieter times—a lovely hotel in a good location.

Nice hotel on the edge of town, however it’s expensive to eat and drink, luckily there is a lovely restaurant a few hundred meters from the hotel serving lovely food. An example is €6:70 for a pint of beer in the hotel whilst only €6 in the nearby restaurant so two drinks is a saving of €1:40

Fabulous nights stay in this fantastic hotel. It was first class from start to finish, food fabulous bursting with flavour we had our lunch and dinner there too excellent service too. Staff were first class very friendly and helpful we will definitely be back. I would highly recommend this hotel

Nice hotel. There was a lot of noise in the atrium area on Saturday night. My room (308) was big but quite dark. Most of the tv channels didn’t work and the shower set up is very dated. The bed was very comfortable and it was clean. The bar food and breakfast were excellent and the service outstanding. It also has 6 EV chargers.

The room was nice, I don't think the air conditioning worked, we were provided with a fan which made the stay pleasant. There were plates and glasses left out in the hallway from other guests that were left out all night and well into the next morning and still there when we were checking out. We dined at the Atrium bar twice during our stay. The food was nice, staff were helpful. I did quickly notice that every table I sat at was scored or marked from wear and tear. I sat in the lobby for a meal and the sofa was in tatters and had stains. We also sat in the patio dining area a couple of times, it was noticeable that weeds were growing through the grout. We had wanted to visit the pool when before we left, arrived down at around 9am on the Sunday morning, but we were turned away as they were not ready to open, to come back in 15 or 20 mins. I attempted to return after 15 mins and the doors were locked. The floor that the pool was on had a very unclean smell. I would come back to this hotel for a meal, but not to stay.

Id like to say stay away but I cant haha😄🙈 I'd like this hotel all to myself and for my stays 🤗 but unfortunately I cannot...So, I really loved my stay. I cannot fault anything. Staff, food, amenities, feeling safe as a solo, Il be back. Thank you all.
