Very warm welcome, no problem arriving early. Room was very clean and airy. Bedding and towels clean. Breakfast was 5*, cooked as we requested and so much choice. Lorraine the cook was very attentive. Would recommend to anybody staying in the local area and would definitly use again.

Nice room/en-suite shower in a clean, well kept tea rooms conveniently located to explore the Forest of Dean and Chepstow. Short walk on the main road to either of the two village pubs not for the faint hearted but short drive to Chepstow restaurants and hostelries. Staff very friendly and lovely breakfast.

Room smelt damp, bed not very comfortable. Breakfast was nice though and breakfast ladies were lovely

This place wasn’t what we hoped for so we didn’t stay. The room was not as big as it seemed on photos, no room to put our suitcases out. Room was dated and doors opened out onto parking lot. Very dark, no lights outside and muddy from a water main break. To make matters worse, a policeman knocked on door to say there had been an armed robbery nearby and offender was seen nearby. Very scary and unnerving. We decided we couldn’t stay and found another hotel. Swan House were not willing to refund. Hotels.com did give us key cash of $50 for trouble.
