The pub was in a charming, rural location but easy to find. Lovely gardens. We ate dinner the first night and it was so good we booked for the next night. Bedroom comfy and well supplied. We’ll be back.

Beautifully unassuming from the outside. Once you enter the restaurant and bar you immediately feel the relaxed atmosphere. The dining area is lovely. Our room was absolutely gorgeous. Everything you needed was provided. The ensuite was stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stylish, cosy, intimate pub. Excellent food in the restaurant with locally sourced food, wine and beer. Bedroom was chic, comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff were all lovely. A really enjoyable stay and we will be back!

Beautiful old pub, stunning rooms, all staff very attentive, warming, welcoming, everything you could as for. Superbly kept garden, truly stunning! One of the best beer gardens ive had the pleasure of having a drink in. If im in the area again, ill most certainly stay again.

Delightful setting despite solid rain for 2 days. Tucked away so absolute silence at night. Food was amazing and loads sourced from on site garden.

Countryside enfolded the TJS and as soon as we walked in we were made to feel welcomed. Our room was clean and fresh. Everything you needed had been thought of, big walk-in shower. fluffy robes, small fridge with water and milk for your tea. We only had breakfast but was freshly cooked and lasted us all day. We loved our stay and would definitely go back. TJS gets our thumbs up.

Fantastic location and such a beautiful place! Room was very comfortable and with a lot of little treats. Very clean and lovely! Good shower and lovely touch with all soaps and shampoo provided! Bottle of vino was an amazing treat! Breakfast was delicious and staff was so friendly and polite! Very comfortable beds and the decor was very tasteful. Beautiful location and plenty of parking space! Thank you for amazing experience we had and we will be back!

Booked a 2 night stay to go to Plumpton races. Sadly races suspended due to weather so decided to leave and make the long journey home to Manchester. This is no reflection on hotel. Room was large, clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Staff friendly and efficient

Great stay. Arrived late in the evening with not much charge in my electric car. They sorted out an extension lead so I could get some emergency miles. Nothing was too much trouble and the bed was super comfy Would have liked breakfast slightly earlier but that’s just my personal opinion

Got to the Pub booked in room looked good , Went down to get a light bite nothing on the menu as it was in the middle of nowhere we stayed and had fish n Chips 1 glass wine and a soft drink £60 . Off to bed the noise from downstairs was loud.had a bad nights sleep asked to change room as the bed was so uncomfortable they changed the mattress even though they had spare rooms. mattress was changed but no better left a day early when i booked out didnt even ask why we were leaving a day early. booked into another hotel so we could finish our christmas with our first Gandson

The pub was in a charming, rural location but easy to find. Lovely gardens. We ate dinner the first night and it was so good we booked for the next night. Bedroom comfy and well supplied. We’ll be back.

Stylish, cosy, intimate pub. Excellent food in the restaurant with locally sourced food, wine and beer. Bedroom was chic, comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff were all lovely. A really enjoyable stay and we will be back!

Fabulously comfortable stay :) The room was spacious, comfortable and clean and the staff were very accommodating. I had really nice breakfast and then came back for the Sunday roast, both lovely :)

Delightful setting despite solid rain for 2 days. Tucked away so absolute silence at night. Food was amazing and loads sourced from on site garden.

I was not able to use the breakfast facility due to the kitchen not open from 08:30am which was not conducive to someone that needs to by in work at that time. Arrived later, very dark and no pathing down to the rooms so muddy due to the heavy rain. Bedroom was nice.

Staff were polite but unfortunately the room we were in was next to pipes that clanged all night. The room was very small and hot, although newly renovated. Breakfast was delicious.
