Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Hagerstown

The hotel was on the newer side which was nice. It was clean. I was a little disappointed for the amount I spent and the customer service. I called a head for a late check out a couple of days in advance. When I checked in it was never noted. They asked me who I spoke to. I was able to get it . I had one used roll of toilet paper which was gone by morning. I ran out in the morning and told the front desk they said they would have it in the room when I returned. It wasn’t they . I had to find a maid to get some. There was not a single complimentary water bottle in the refrigerator. I know these are little things but I feel like these are standard things.

The beds could be a little softer but the hotel was very quiet.

Overall a good experience! The hotel was clean and updated. The fitness room was nice with commercial treadmills that we used. Breakfast was decent with quite a few options. The website was a bit misleading stating there was an "onsite restaurant" and bar. There is no restaurant (only breakfast is served), and there is a small bar that is supposed to be open on Friday and Saturday nights, but it was closed when we were there (on a Saturday) due to lack of staff. That was the only part we were disappointed by, as we would have liked to check in and stay in for the night rather than going back out to find dinner/drinks.

Great stay. Spotlessly clean. King bed very comfortable. Shower was modern and nice hot water. Breakfast offered a nice selection. Coffee very good. We would stay again.
