Value Inn Hollywood

Bastante recomendable este motel/hotel si traes poco presupuesto pero quieres una opción limpia y cómoda, lo recomiendo si tu estancia es corta pues la zona es un poco desconfiable, pero fuera de eso el personal es amable, habitaciones limpias, zona accesible al metro y cerca de Hollywood y universal. Recomendado

No hot water to shower with, roaches in the bathroom

I paid for my room. I went in. Went straight back to the office as it smelt of weed even though they are non smoking rooms. All the older guy did was spray the room with air freshener, open the window and turn on the air con. I then looked at the room more closely, it was dirty, the floor was sticky. I couldn’t stay in it. I went back to reception and the older guy got a younger guy to come out, I asked for a refund to be told no all sales are final. I explained the state of the room and wasn’t offered any help. I asked for him to contact the manager or give me the mangers details but got told they had no way of contacting the manager - which I find very strange. I then went and got my stuff and took the key back to the office where I then got a lady come out, I explained everything to her and she told me the cleaners were of the highest standard. If that’s so why was the room so dirty. I am very disappointed that I got no help from 3 different members of staff, no offer to move rooms, no offer to refund. I spent my time at the motel sitting on the steps beside the room - first due to the amount of air freshener that was sprayed and secondly cos of the state of the room. If I could leave a zero star review I would.

Absolutely miserable stay and unprofessional staff. Do not stay here; avoid at all costs. During the check-in process we had no issues. The room is just fine, nothing special but nothing particularly concerning. I did notice there are no hand towels, but that's not a big deal. Parking is extremely limited and also very tight. Staff knocked on our door in the middle of the night to move our car from the handicap spot even though we have a placard. He promised us a partial refund. We learned in the morning at check out that he wanted us to move for HIS CAR. His car does not have a placard but he said he parks there when the lot is full. He also reneged on the refund and slammed the door in my face when I confronted him about the unfair treatment. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I am extremely frustrated with the service and would advise anyone who want comfort and especially any with any handicap guests to stay far away.

The staff were nice but stingy. Location was convenient. Overall, the motel was one of the worst I’ve seen. Do not recommend. We first walked in to the room smelling of weed. Beds were stiff, there were eyelashes and fake nails on the motel room floor. Poor sound control between rooms and lack of amenities. Did I mention I do not recommend this motel.
