Front desk staff was friendly. Housekeeping was amazing!! Pool was kept very clean. Parking was a little difficult but nothing too bad. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Parking is an issue. Only limiting parking in first floor and once it is full you have to go to garage which is a nightmare. If it rains then the garage parking will be flooded. House keeping people are removing towels daily but not replacing them. Need to followup to get new set of washed towels. For the price we are paying its not worth.

The property had no towels when we requested. The shower was literally cracking and falling apart. The room smelt like smoke. The pool had sand all in the bottom like it had not been cleaned in weeks. It was very noisy in the hallways at night and just overall trashy. We were embarrassed to tell people we were staying there when asked. You get what you pay for.

The reviews were okay but it's not good at all. The elevator is small, the parking is horrible especially underneath in the garage it's very small only 1 car can go down or up at the same time very small bad place to turn in, constantly smelled like marijuana inside an outside of the the hotel and or room an I had 2 kids with me it was horrible I will never ever ever stay there again. Literally don't stay here if you have kids or don't smoke because you constantly smell marijuana an cigarette smoke and there was homeless people hanging around. Didn't feel safe at all. When your walking to the beach from the hotel it smelled like people used the bathroom in the sand. There was a homeless man set up a little tarp an stuff an was sleeping an changing literally beside the walkway to the beach it was so bad. The only good thing was how big the TV was in the room literally that's it.

Mrs. Shela at the front desk was a delight. She was very helpful and nice. The hotel was clean, the pools were nice and we were right on the beach. The hot tub was warm and clean, which is hard to find. The only thing was the door for the balcony was a little hard to open but once maintenance showed us it was a little easier. The ac worked very well and kept the room cold. The fridge worked well too. You had to park down in the carpark below the hotel and walk up which wasn't too bad.

So worn out Shower was ok, beds were ok Just tired and worn out Hot tub was absolutely filthy and no way I would go in the pool Just pass on this one

As other reviews have said…. The rooms are clean. So kudos to the staff. However…. The rooms are as clean as you can make a 50 year old building that has seen little updates be. Light fixtures in the rooms are old and rusted. Furniture worn and chipped. Mattress could use an upgrade. The hot tub and pool were NOT clean, there is trash around the exterior of the hotel. Just a little TLC would go a long way. We booked based on pictures on expedia. These pics were not taken recently. Stayed one night…. Wouldn’t stay longer. Clean room, friendly front desk, great rate…. But in this case, I got what i paid for

The people here are amazing, very sweet, very patient. The condition of the rooms could use some more work but EXTREMELY reasonable for price point. My only real complaint is that ramp going underneath the building for parking! It is extremely narrow, tight, angled and scary to get in and out of. Other than that my gf and I had a great impromptu day at Myrtle and enjoyed our stay (:

There was NOTHING that I liked about my stay at the Gazebo Inn. The entire hotel including the pool was filthy. I dont think the bed linens had been changed. Bathroom was filthy and rusty and baseboards rotten. The room smelled like an ashtray. Floors had not swept or mopped again filthy. Picture on Expedia are misleading and not a true representation of the facility. There was the smell of Marijuana coming from downstairs so we could sit on the balcony We were to spend two nights but we checked out the morning of our second day there. I contacted Expedia regarding my concerns and requestesd a refund. I was told by Expedia that the Gazebo denied my request. I contacted the Gazebo directly about my concerns and my request for a refund. I have yet to hear from anyone. Overall it is the Hotel from Hell. DO NOT stay here!

Rooms were clean and the lady at check in was amazing. Older hotel, but clean and very accessible to the beach.

I was terrified to stay at this property. The room was nasty. 2 huge cockroaches on my bed. Hair in sink and tub. Stained bed linen, smelled of cigarette smoke and hotel is filled with marijuana and mold smell. Overrun with homeless apparently living in the parking deck hooping and hollering obscenities to us. Awful!! I wanted my money back. Never ever stayed at a hotel like this.

Blood in bathroom, hair everywhere just was completely nasty

The mircowave was disgusting and not clean! The blanket had orange stains on it. The mirror hadn’t been clean.

This property was the most disgusting place we have ever been at. It was filthy, mold on the walls, no towels, thr comforter was so stained and we were blown off as if it were normal. The hotel reeked of marijuana inside and outside pool area was loud people jumping off balconies into pool, drinking and smoking pot. Music blasting until 3am. No parking at night. People double parked in lot, staff didnt care. We were told to park in a unlit area accrossed the street. Drug dealers and prostitutes all out front of the hotel. This was the worst experience ever! Do yourself a favor and dont ever even think of staying here.

I never review but with this one. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!! We travel for work and this has been the worse place i have ever been! Found dead roaches and the bedding had not been properly changed or cleaned, had stains. Place smelled of mildew, old. I had rented the whole week, and we left second day. Of course nobody to take responsibility for a refund!

This is a little gem of a hotel, rooms were updated, beds were soft. If you are looking for a nice clean no frills hotel that's budget friendly with a great staff this is it!

It was okay, the plumbing fixtures are older and getting loose and the bathroom door had some damage around the edges. The room itself was comfortable and clean and the view was beautiful. I slept really good on the bed and the bedding was clean. The property was pretty quiet and they lock up at night only giving access to key holders which made me feel safer since I was by myself for the trip. There is access to the beach from the property. The staff was friendly and helpful when I had questions about the local area and what was in walking distance. Parking was probably the worst part, it’s just a very cramped underground parking lot and the access ramp only has 1 lane for cars that are coming or going so it did make me nervous that someone would turn in while I was leaving or that I would turn into someone else trying to exit the parking lot. Overall my stay was comfortable.

This is an outdated hotel. The room I stayed in was supposed to be ocean view, it was actually a partial view to see the ocean, seen more parking lot and hotel beside me.The balcony door needed replaced as it was hard to open and shut, the railings are not safe for toddlers as my 1 year old tried to go through as soon as we go there to take a look. The pool’s color was not normal, more greenish than clear or blue. The a/c unit didn’t go below 66 and I wasn’t comfortable the whole time in the room. The floors in the room, you had to keep your shoes on or your feet would be black. Beds were comfortable and I didn’t seen any bugs in the room. Hallways were so hot and humid, you would sweat as soon as you stepped outta of your room. Parking wasn’t the greatest, main upper lot had half blocked off and never able to park there. Lower parking lot was for smaller cars, two broken down vehicles parked one with flat tires. I was glad for the elevator as this would have been a nightmare if not since I had 3 kids with me. One way in and out of lower parking deck, not really safe in my opinion. Tv remote stopped working all a sudden, but it was handled quickly with a different remote. Tub was stained and had some patched work visible to it. Ice machine wasn’t working either. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were amazing, very friendly. The front desk staff in the am was good but the night one was not really detailed on arrival and I had to ask a lot of questions.

On the outside the property is dated, however the rooms are spacious and clean. Front desk agents are top tier and very pleasant to deal with. The beach is steps away from the hotel. I will book this every time because of the cleanliness and the cost just adds a double cherry. I refuse to gatekeep this diamond in the rough. You won’t be disappointed

The hotel is definitely dated but you can tell they have performed some updates recently. The floors weren’t very clean at all.. especially in the bathroom. None of the interior door locks worked and the bathroom door had to be shut pretty hard to actually close. It was decent for the price compared to other beachfront rooms in the area.

Almost all TV channels were from streaming service platforms, no local major network affiliates available. We missed viewing all our weekly shows that are shown on the major networks. One positive was that you had endless access to movies.

Room.was clean. Oceanfront view superb. Staff friendly. The hotel is very dated and in rough shape. It needs to be remodeled. My room and bathe were clean but carpet holds odors after several years. The air conditioning unit was leaking water over edge of the balcony. The pool appeared to be not cleaned in a very long time and was murky. I stayed here because it is cheap.

Exterior of the building will scare you but the rooms are surprisingly nice. Great bang for the buck. Parking is tight and limited, there is auxiliary Parking across the street. Staff nice and helpful. Nice pool area.

Last year was wonderful so we came back again this year, new black lady at the desk I'd never seen before was extremely rude to my wife and we also had to wait in line for 30 minutes just to check in. Only reason I didn't make a big deal out of her being rude was for the sake of the people in line behind me; will be finding another hotel next year.

We had a "garden view" to start off and they upgraded us to an ocean view room for free! We stayed for 4 days 3 nights and it was very pleasant esp after finding out about the surprise upgrade. Ive stayed there twice and both times i enjoyed it. The staff was nice and helpful. The front desk people were friendly and we shared a few laughs. 5 stars! Will def stay there again!

Don’t expect to check in when they say check in is. We get there at 3, they say the room is not ready they’re doing a final sweep now and they will call us shortly. We have groceries and it is 97 degrees out, after an hour we go back in since there was no call. They tell us the exact same thing as before just with a huff. 5 pm hits, we go back again. After two hours of sitting with groceries, car running. My partner finally says “don’t worry about it. We’ll find a different hotel” magically they’re “upgrading” us. From a two queen bed room to a single bed room. So it took two hours and saying we’re done for this to happen? Knowing we were sitting and waiting in the car with food for two hours, telling us they will call shortly.

Had a wonderful stay at the Gazebo Inn oceanfront after the 4th of July weekend!! The staff was super friendly & attentive. Our room was very clean, and the balcony gave us the view we wanted, along with rainbows!! It is an older hotel, not too expensive, and everything you could want or need was within walking distance or a very short drive. The pool & the hot tub were clean, and there is easy access to the beach. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay, very relaxing, Thank you!!

Doesn’t look anything like the photos on website.. parking is a joke trying to get in and get out..when we got there the room wasn’t ready… check-in was at 3 and we got there at 4, had to wait an hour before we got it.. on the second day there there was some property stolen, told the lady at the desk and she acted unbothered by it talking about she would check the cameras… I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

I booked last minute due to an unexpected situation. The women who work here are absolute dolls and go above and beyond for you. Very reasonable prices for an ocean view room, comfy bed and comforting room as a whole. Highly recommend, especially for solo travelers who don't need anything fancy. Will definitely be coming back next time I travel to Myrtle Beach.

TERRIBLE place to stay! I came in late, due to my flight arriving late. But I called a week in advance to inform, the day before AND the day of, just so they were well aware and expecting it. I was told to ring the doorbell when I got there and I would be assisted. I waited in the cold for over 20 minutes and RUDELY "greeted" by a woman in her pajamas (not upset about that at 12:30am) but she literally told me that she was just giving me my keys because she wanted to go back to bed and she would deal with me in the morning. . . The place was DISGUSTING!!! Absolute FILTH! Blood smeared on the walls, bloody boogers on the shower curtain, the stove, fridges, and cabinets with dishes were NASTY!!!!! It was AWFULLLL!!! There were literal drug deals going on outside the building in multiple areas. The people on the balconies below my floor were all passing and smoking drugs to each other...I have pics and video proof of everything! TERRIBLE!!!!! Got a full refund and will never ever recommend to anyone! Should be condemned!

This is by far one of the pathetic hotel I have ever had in my life. Despite the fact that they are charging good amount but services are awful. The lady at service desk literally took 1.5 hours for 4 customers to check-in even immigration line at JFK airport or any line at DMV takes less time than that...this shows their low quality outdated service. Then we were informed it might take few hours more because rooms are not ready..whats the point of 3 PM check in time and 11 AM checkout time if they were unable to deliver room on time. There were no towels in rooms. Imagine coming from a beach to have shower in your hotel room and there were no towels.

Great front desk lady...former Teacher, she handled things like a pro! Great ocean front location... building is being refurbished. It was inexpensive, but worth what I paid. Parking lot was the biggest issue...half was blocked off, making it difficult to find a spot. Room, beds, refrigerator, stove, bathroom...all quite adequate.

Excellent location! Right on the ocean. Not fancy but comfortable rooms. Excellent price! Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy our beautiful balcony due to the smokers next-door! We even had to keep our door closed when they were smoking! What?Q.

The property is not what I expected. It is convenient to the beach and in a good location. However, the pictures do not convey what this property actually looks like. The hotel is old, dirty and run down. The rooms are in fair condition, however the corridors and other areas around the property is in poor condition. They had limited parking and parking in the underground is a bit difficult to maneuver with a large vehicle. The only great thing going for this property is the staff, they are FANTASTIC, EXTREMELY COURTEOUS AND KIND!!

Stayed one night and walked out sick with itchy eyes, runny nose and sneezing. Had a balcony which overlooked The Twilight Hotel in witnessed prostitution and drug activity all day and all night.

Great hotel for the price, right on the beach and the strip, right parking but over all worth the stay.

Wouldn’t recommend this place. The twilight surf hotel beside it had nothing but drug addicts and ALOT of drug activity going on. Police constantly coming in the parking lot. It was chaotic. The hotel itself was uncomfortable. The beds are hard as rocks. Also, I had my room changed and it was the same. So it wasn’t just one room like this. My back is hurting so bad. Also everything is very outdated and wasn’t cleaned well. I wish I had spent the extra money and gone somewhere else so I could come in and feel comfortable in a clean, safe space with my 4 year old. I would not come back here again to stay for my vacation. Some of the people were nice to me. Get a hotel on the north side! This is the south side and not a good area at all.

Overall the property was really great for the price. The biggest thing we didnt like was the lack of breakfast and the parking situation. Outside of that the room was cozy abd the view was absolutely beautiful. The two front desk ladies were reallt helpful and sweet. Definitely will be returning.

Nice little hotel. Ppl were every friendly. Had a kitchenette but def bring what you'll need to cook. Only had one pan.

It was a great place, clean, nice staff. We had a nice view from our room . Beds were comfortable, we enjoyed cooking our own meals. Only comlaint would be the compact parking that is almost everywhere or so it seems for our denali.

This property is hidden gem at Myrtle Beach. My room was 50 feet from beach. The staff was amazing. Housekeeping was wonderful and gave us extra pillows. Everything was clean. Price was very good . Loved the hot tub. Walking distance to a wonderful restaurant for breakfast.
