Best view on the island. Lovely ryokan room, slept on the futons, private and public baths. (Public ones are separated male and female). Great location to everything on the island. Amazing dinner and breakfast. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Nothing bad to say. Highly recommend ! Free shuttle from and to ferry. The staff is so so kind. Carrying our heavy bags.

Would be better if you could take in the view while sitting in the bath, but you can't. The eating and bathing schedule should be clearly communicated upon reservation. It was very confusing and we got boxed in upon arrival with no schedule flexibility. Food was plentiful for both dinner and breakfast.

The kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast were delicious, and the public bath was clean and tidy. We had access to a private bath (by appointment), but were too tired to take advantage. There was also a gift shop downstairs with local gifts. The staff were helpful and friendly, and also dropped us off at the ferry at the end of our stay.

フェリー乗り場から　遠かったので　手荷物を　昼頃に　駅まで持ってきていただけたのは　とても助かりました。 普通の水やコーヒー　自販機で買わないといけなかったり　最近どこでも　サービスで置いてくれてる所が多いので　びっくりしました。

A charming Japanese Ryokan with the best view of the famous Miyajima Torii. You can walk to it within 5 minutes during the off hours when the tourists are gone. We loved their 10-course Kaiseki Dinner and their Japanese breakfast. Their shuttle van picks you up at the ferry terminal. You should book your private 30-minute onsen when you check in.

Fantastic Ryokan for an authentic experience on Miyajima. They offer western style beds but the reason you would come is for the full Ryokan experience with tatami floors and futon beds! There are many rooms with views directly of the floating gate which is truly a sight and offers a great location for walking round miyajima as it is close to the floating shrine, a 10 min walk from the main shopping streets but can be a stating point for one of the many longer walks around the island. The staff are attentive, polite and very accomodating. The kaiseki style dinner, heavy on the regional seafood, was truly a brilliant experience and was a seemingly unending series of beautifully presented small dishes. The hotel itself is dated on the inside but that adds to the charm and overall experience. There is a private onsen which you can reserve for free but sadly was fully booked during our time there which felt a missed opportunity. I do wonder if there was a way to stagger bookings to enable each guest to experience it, however we did arrive late onto the island so with more pre planning / earlier arrival time likely would have avoided this issues of our own making.

I adored the view of the floating Dori gate from the window of my room. I had great views. The Ryokan needs to be updated. There should be instructions on how to use the private bath properly as there is floating film in the water.

Best view on the island over Miyashima. Rooms are super clean and comfortable. It is an older hotel, but well worth the money. I recommend staying two nights so you can enjoy the island and not be rushed to do everything in a single day.

The pillow have some kind of mold smell. Might want to be mindful as that affects my sleep

Excellent service. Very spacious traditional rooms with an excellent view over the shrine from the sea view rooms we booked. Inclusive evening meal was wonderful.

Amamos el Ryokan Jukeiso!!!! Es muy bonito!! Los cuartos tradicionales japoneses son hermosos!! Además la atención del personal es realmente excelente!!! El hotel está un poco alejado de la estación del Ferry de Miyajima, pero el caminar por la isla, ver el exterior del santuario de Itsukushima y recorrer las calles comerciales no tiene precio. En caso de que no quieras caminar, el hotel tiene el servicio de pasar por ti a la estación. Tomamos la cena y el desayuno tradicional Kaiseki y estuvieron deliciosos!!!! En nuestro Check Out, le pedimos al encargado si podía guardar nuestras maletas mientras hacíamos el recorrido de la subida al monte Misen, con gusto nos apoyó con ello y nos dijo que si no queríamos volver al Ryokan una vez terminado el recorrido, fuesemos a la terminal del ferry y ahí llamasemos al hotel, para que nos llevara nuestro equipaje. En verdad una gran experiencia, muchas gracias por todos los detalles y atenciones Ryokan Jukeiso!! Esperamos volver muy pronto!!!!

For dinner, we were provided a Japanese kaiseiki meal which was delicious! You choose you among three meal time options and can also choose an option for shuttle to the Miyajima ferry terminal. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. (They also have their own stamp)

Don't like futon bed. Everythig else is great

Excellent view from both windows in our room. We can see the big orange Torii in the sea. Room is comfortable and larger than expectation. Food is tasty and service is considerate. Like our luggage was well delivered to our room when check in and with shuttle service that ride us to the ferry pier when check out.

Staff were amazing, really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Beautiful view of the Torri gate from our room and complimentary shuttle available to get to and from the ferry station. Excellent.

Overall experience was nice. The room, the location, the lady who took care of us throughout our stay, the food, the driver who picked us up and dropped us off. The reason I couldn’t give them five stars was because of the man at the front desk. We are not sure if this guy was the owner or manager who works at the front desk. The day we arrived at this Ryokan style hotel, we were asked which option we would like to choose between the western style and the Japanese style. I picked the Japanese style, but my partner picked the western style. He looked at us weirdly and didn’t seem that he was happy with the choice we made. Maybe because we both did not select the same option…? And the second day, we requested for an hour extension to our checkout time which was originally 10 am. Not only did he refuse our request, but he did not refuse in a polite way, in which he didn’t make us feel that he wants us to come back again. We have traveled 6 out of 7 continents and had stayed at many hotels and this was the first or second time we were refused of this type of request. Many hotels always have been happy to accommodate our needs and requests. This is the only reason why I couldn’t give them 5 stars. The location was marvelous and remarkable. The lady and the driver were very friendly and polite. They even gave us a little tour and history of the beautiful Miyajima island. The dinner and breakfast were both delectable. We could have the local specialties of oysters and conger eels.

The staffs are so friendly to the extra miles. On the day of my check-in, I was taking a Shinkansen from Shinagawa but it got DELAY due to the weather condition. While I was stuck in the train, the hotel staff keep on asking my location. I have never encounter before by this caring behaviour. The hotel staff said the kitchen is willing to wait for my arrival but the ferry to this hotel (Last ferry: 1030pm) so I missed it. On the next morning I took the first ferry to the island, technically I felt that the hotel will reject me. To my surprise! They still allow me to stay in for a couple of hours before the check out timing and even prepare a table of Japanese breakfast for me. I am grown man and I am about drop my tears. If you are coming to Hiroshima Itsukushima island, please do yourself a favour to BOOK this hotel as they’re are the most Passionate about hotel service and caring people I ever seen. Plus a great view of the tori gate from the window.

Excellent séjour, tout était parfait : l accueil et les services, la chambre spatieuse avec une superbe vue sur Miyajima et le temple, les repas soignés, le onsen très apprécié après une longue journée. On ne peut pas faire mieux, le meilleur de l hospitalité japonaise.

Great place, had beautiful morning peaceful walk before all the day tourists arrived as it gets very crowded in town later on. The hotel is super accommodating to bring or pick up luggage from/to the ferry.

部屋からの景色は鳥居が見え素晴らしかったです。朝食夕食も手頃な量で大変満足し家族も喜んでいました。

高台にありお部屋から宮島の歴史的建造物や瀬戸内海の景色を満喫いたしました。緑豊かな周辺の散策がとても気持ちよく、料理も美味で満足のいく時間を過ごしました。

Que grata experiencia el llegar. Jukeiso, ni más ni menos, la mejor vista hacia la Tori en el agua, y hacia Miyajima; es un Ryokan lo que lo hace un lugar íntimo y de una altísima calidad en el servicio, los alimentos y amenidades. No se lo pierdan!

Wonderful ryokan overlooking the Inari shrine. Food was great, but the kids (10 and 12) were disappointed they got the kids meal with fries during dinner when they had been looking forward to japanese food. The japanese breakfast in the morning made up for it though. Attentive staff and wonderful private onsen.
