Fanns inga taxin i Fondi - Sperlonga. Vi fick ta bussen. Därefter var det flera stop, vi fick instruktioner att hoppa av i gamla stan. Det var svårt att hitta lägenheten. Adressen fanns inte på Maps så vi snurrade rundor med bagage i värmen. Instruktionerna som vi fått innan gällde med bil och inte gående. Eftee videosamtal med värd kunde vi hitta lägenheten. Lägenheten hade allt och var ren. Men eftersom de var källarvåning så kunde man känna av lukten av unket från avloppen. Samt fanns de massor av myggor där barnen fick flera bett på armar och ben. Annars låg den nära stranden, där man hade egen paraply och solstolar. Samt i den gamla staden som var mysig dock var redo för trappor och backar.

I want to say that we loved our experience, but I just can’t. The town is beautiful and definitely worth visiting. The property is a little farther from the beach than anticipated. It was a little hard to find as it’s located on a little beat up alleyway. There is not a lot of natural light. There’s a small window in the tucked away kitchen and a small window in the bathroom, but the main area doesn’t have any windows other than the door itself. Also, the shower doors don’t work well and water leaks everywhere, and I mean half the bathroom completely flooded. We were supposed to stay for a week, and we ended up cutting our trip short and left to Rome. The host was responsive and was helpful over the phone when we could not locate the property. The mattresses were comfortable, but the pillows were very lumpy. The unit was clean, and has enough storage space. The location is walkable, but with a child with special needs, we needed to be closer. The map that Expedia provides apparently is outdated which led us to believe that we were going to be closer than we actually were.

Great experience. Very communicative host made check in very easy. The space comes w day passes to the Lido at The Belvedere, great bonus! Could comfortably sleep 5 people, definitely recommend.

Ground level apartment with excellent AC - appreciated especially during very hot summer weather. Short walk to the beach, restaurants and grocery stores.
