We had the most amazing stay at Eiger Lodge Chic for my husband’s 30th birthday. The staff were so friendly, attentive and helpful, and even gave us two free drink tokens to redeem at the bar as a birthday treat. The free bus ticket was a real bonus and it allowed us to go up to Grindelwald town super easily. The room was incredibly comfortable with the most magical view. The only reason I’ve gone 4/5 stars on the room is because the double/king bed was actually two singles, with two duvets which is not something I had anticipated (but was fine!) and while the pillows are insanely soft, we both personally needed to ask for an extra one as they were almost too soft. The included breakfast was exactly what you need for a short ski trip away and everything was well presented and tasty. The ski/boot room was also easy to access and a real bonus. We will 100% come back to Eiger Lodge Chic in the future!

The location is unbeatable (it's right next to the bus terminal, train station, and the cable car to the Eiger and Jungfrau). The hotel has a lovely bar with a beautiful view of the mountains and the river. The breakfast is very complete. The views from the rooms are spectacular, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it.

Very convenient location to access the train or bus if you are going to Jungfrau, Mannlichen, Grindelwald First, Klein Schengen, Pfingstegg and Interlaken , etc. Room is Very minimalist, clean and energy cautious. This property is top notch - perhaps the best place to stay in Grindelwald area. Breakfast is amazing - really one of the best we had. The chic rooms are amazing and very spacious. Hotel has a community dining center where you have a microwave to heat and eat food. Front Desk provided umbrellas. Daniel at Front Desk was very helpful in everything. You can leave your bags after check out with hotel. Hotel location is great too - 3 minutes walk from Grindelwald Terminal station. Not many dining options near the hotel though. Room was great, bathroom and shower is good too.

We came by car to Grindelwald to see Eiger and take the cable car to Eigergletscher. For this purpose, the lodge was excellent! We saw the big north face of Eiger through our window, and sitting on the roof of the adjacent Grill Bar and having a beer while watching the mountains was just amazing. The lodge is basic but in great shape. Checkin and parking was very convenient and breakfast was good.

Fantastic family experience at this lodge right at the base of one of the most beautiful gondola rides imaginable. We could hear the river flowing day and night and it was calming and picturesque. The only knock was we were there during a very warm stretch of weather and not having a/c (very typical for most of Europe), was a bit uncomfortable - but we knew this location didn’t have it going in - so not a problem! The breakfast they had was also fantastic. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful and packing light required the ability to do laundry and that was really quite simple here. Fantastic spot all around.

Eiger Lodge Chic has clean, spacious, modern, comfortable rooms and overall has a nice, fun, attractive ski lodge feel. It is located within a 2 minute walk to both: (1) Grindelwald Terminal train station, which is connected to the Gondola to Mannlichen and excellent upper hiking areas, and (2) Grindelwald Grund station, which serves the scenic cog railway to Kleine Scheidegg - for more hiking and access to Wengen and Lauterbrunnen. For us, the perfect location. Also, very easy bus ride into main Grindelwald town up the hill with many restaurants (hotel provides free bus passes). Great views of mountains without mobs of tourists found in central Grindelwald. The Eiger grill restaurant had good food and atmosphere. Hotel had excellent breakfast. Check-in and check-out people were super friendly, efficient, and helpful. Perfect hotel for us. We would definitely return.

I have traveled to Switzerland for many times now. Eiger Lodge is one of the most comfortable places ever! Love this place! Rooms are very modern, chic and spotless and you get an excellent view of the Mountains. The hotel is next to the river. Amazing place to stay. Breakfast was excellent. Highly, highly recommend. I could never been happier that I found this place. It is very convenient to buses and trains. The hotel is next to the Terminal station. I will be back.

No AC so could be warm on hot days. Front desk was kind enough to lend a table fan which helped. Otherwise the property is very clean. Room was on the smaller side but neat. Breakfast was pretty good.

Beautiful and cozy. This is a new building so it’s great to be in something in great shape. Located 15-20 min walk from town it has great views in all directions. There is a bar and grill next door which is very convenient ( saves walking ) and great prices. The only things that was definitely missing was Air Conditioning, room was very hot even with patio door open. The other would be a mini fridge so that you can store grocery items for when you heading out for the day to take hiking or an adventure as eating out is very expensive. Overall would recommend

it is one of my favourite accommodation of my trip. the staff area so nice and it is next to the cable car station and could assets to the train station via the cable car station. I love the balcony with an amazing view of eiger mountain. there is a microwave at the breakfast area and it would be great to heat the food at the balcony of the room. the only thing I would suggest for improvement is installing a door at the bathroom. I would recommend to stay here instead of staying in the centre of Grindelwald.

Hotel location is very convenient from the terminal, but a good distance from the town. That was our choice to stay close to the terminal so in and out to different places made easy. But the hotel though has very clean room, there is nothing else in the room, no hot water maker, or coffee maker, no refrigerator, no tissue…. no glasses for drinking water….. no safe. Hair dryer is the only thing there. It is almost like a hostel. With a little extra amenities this could be a nice place to stay.
Hotel location is very convenient from the terminal, but a good distance from the town. That was our choice to stay close to the terminal so in and out to different places made easy. But the hotel though has very clean room, there is nothing else in the room, no hot water maker, or coffee maker, no refrigerator, no tissue…. no glasses for drinking water….. no safe. Hair dryer is the only thing there. It is almost like a hostel. With a little extra amenities this could be a nice place to stay.

Close to train station. Basic family room with king bed (two twins) and also twin bunk beds. No shower curtain, not even an option for. Not sure what they were thinking since there were 4 people in the room. Needed a fan, staff was able to supply. Would be nice if there was more than 1 washer and 1 dryer.

Everything was good, cleaning and the staff were great. The only thing we would change is that you can't switch on the light in the bathroom without the light in the hallway, so it disturbs the person who is still in bed.

Room was very clean and that was best thing about it. Room was supposed to be air conditioned-it was not. Beds were not comfortable and room was stifling hot. Towels were barely big enough to qualify as a bath towel. Breakfast was good and the Grill Bar associated with the hotel was good too.

Check-in and check-out people were super friendly, efficient, and helpful. Perfect hotel for us. We would definitely return.

Everything was excellent, an awesome place to stay, close to free public transport, the view from the room, just WOW. A free gift on arrival discount vouchers, a comfortable bed and fantastic staff. I can't fault our stay.

Great hotel that allowed us to store our luggage for multiple nights while we were staying up at a hut. Great breakfast. A bit far of a walk from town (or take the bus) so food options near by more limited. Our room was facing the construction so was a bit loud in the morning. Helpful staff with quick check in.

Check in took forever because there was only one person helping a large line of people. The bed is advertised as a king bed but it is two twins pushes together with no cover over so you can really feel the grab in the middle of the bed. The room was really clean, modern and simple. Wonderful hot shower after a long day of hiking. Breakfast was included and I love the coffee available whenever at the lobby. Good location for the train terminal but quite a hike in to downtown area. Bus ticket for free rides included in check in, which was awesome.

Right next to the Terminal station, makes it very easy to get around Grindelwald and nearby regions. Staff is also friendly. Appreciate the nice room, and the late checkout granted - we were able to comfortably catch our 12pm connecting train without needing to find a place for luggage storage. Would recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eiger Lodge! The staff was so kind and helpful; the rooms were comfortable and had great views of the mountains; the breakfast was wonderful and had tons of options. We will definitely be back someday!

Location, location, location! It is just next to the Grindelwald terminal station that you can either take cable car to Jungfraujoch or take train to go in & out of Grindelwald. For those who like adventures, the station for Too of advanture is just a few minutes away from the hotel by foot. Breakfast at 7:00am but can start at 6:30am for less items but still good breakfast.

The location is unbeatable (it's right next to the bus terminal, train station, and the cable car to the Eiger and Jungfrau). The hotel has a lovely bar with a beautiful view of the mountains and the river. The breakfast is very complete. The views from the rooms are spectacular, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it.

If I go there again, absolutely sleep here. staffs and location are super well. My room has panoramic view and balcony. very close to terminal for Jungfrau gondola and city bus stop.

Located near a gondola and had a coop (grocery store) within 100 meters or so. Also very close to the train station. A walk up the hill to the main area of town but there’s a shuttle that comes by on the half hour.

The location of this lodge, at the base of the Eiger mountain as well as Grindelwald terminal was perfect! My daughter and I had an amazing time. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the restaurant served delicious food and this all made our first visit to Switzerland a memorable one. We will be back!

Had everything you need in a friendly environment. Staff very helpful. Rooms basic and small but well designed so there was room for your stuff and you. Very good shower. Breakfast had good food and something for everyone. Laundry facility very quick. Lots of La es to hang out. Close to a grocery store and a good restaurant and the gondolas. My only criticism would be the monitoring of the community fridge. Things just thrown in and seemed to me there were old things and some people took up a lot of space by buying packs of drinks.

Very clean and modern rooms. Awesome views. Would be nice to have more transparent screens on the windows so we could better enjoy the view without bugs coming into the room. Comfortable beds.
