The first two rooms we were shown were dirty,tired and shabby. The third was ok….ish. The wonderful operations manager was very kind and upgraded us to a suite which was a lot bigger brighter and cleaner but still extremely tired and not worth the money. The pool area and bar were stunning though.

The hotel was built in 2019 so their facilities are all really new. Swimming in the infinity pool is definitely a must do. The breakfast buffet is simple, but definitely has sufficient variety

The Westin Ubud is a visually stunning property with some standout features. The infinity pool is absolutely beautiful, and the buffet breakfast was a true feast—plentiful, fresh, and satisfying. The shuttle service into town was also a convenient and much-appreciated option. The room and restaurant staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely excellent throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by several service-related issues that are difficult to overlook, especially for a hotel that presents itself as a premium destination. The check-in process was particularly disappointing. While other guests were given guided tours of the hotel, we were simply told to have a seat with no further information. The staff member who checked us in offered no explanation of the hotel’s amenities or services, leaving us to discover things gradually over the next few days. We reported a couple of room issues—a balcony door that wouldn’t lock and a large mat that posed a trip hazard—but nothing was done for three days. Additionally, we could clearly hear children playing and walking in the rooms above us, which disrupted the peaceful environment we were hoping for. To make matters worse, during our first dinner we were approached—right at the table and in front of other guests—about our check-in concerns. This was uncomfortable and felt quite inappropriate. During the same meal, we were also asked to join the Marriott Bonvoy program, which really should have been discusse

We stayed at The Westin Resort Ubud over the Easter long weekend in April 2025 for four nights and had an exceptional experience. This was our first time in Ubud and a return to Bali after 10 years, and we couldn’t have picked a better place. We spent most of our time at the resort and loved every moment. The yoga and fitness sessions with Heri each morning were a great way to start the day. We had deeply relaxing massages at the Heavenly Spa, and the floating breakfast in our pool villa was a highlight. Breakfast overall was amazing—great variety and quality—and the restaurant staff, especially Suchi, were incredibly warm and accommodating. I also attended the barista course, which they kindly customised to focus on latte art for me. A wonderful touch. The front office team were always courteous and helpful. We’re leaving feeling totally recharged and already planning to come back. Highly recommend!

A gorgeous, laid back property. The infinity pool overlooking the river and jungle is wonderful, as are the bar and Westin farm. The Indonesian food is delicious (the Ayam Betutu is a stand out dish) and the breakfast buffet has a wide variety of food. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The two bed room suites are huge. Superb.

One of the best resorts I have ever stayed in. Top notch quality facilities, courteous staff, excellent buffet breakfast with extensive variety, everything we tried was excellent. Very clean pool, not crowded at all (we stayed in September), excellent view of the forest. -25 mins from main Ubud markets and monkey forest, which is not bad if you want to stay away from noise and crowds.

We had a true 5 star experience at the Westin. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommadating. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast included in our stay and also had lunch everyday at the pool and alll of the food was very fresh and tasty.

The hotel rooms are tired and probably 3 star standard. The humidity makes the rooms smell damp and aircon also blows damp smelling air into the room. The cleanliness was good in places but attention to detail on balcony glass, around the pool under the chairs and in the room was lacking. Staff are polite and friendly but this doesn’t make up for the slow service. Breakfast good selection of food and the food quality is good. Staff at the reception and bar cannot be more helpful. Overall disappointing.

バルコニーガーデンビューの部屋は安いので仕方ないかもしれないが、オススメしません。 おそらく改装したと思われるのですが、部屋はだめです。 ・防音がきいてないので、廊下の音や隣の音がうるさい。 ・森側のはずが近くの道路のバイク音もはいってきてうるさい。 ・ルームクリーニングは16:30に入ってきたりして、遅すぎる。 ・受付から部屋までのエレベーターはおそらく以前はスタッフ用だった思われる小さくで古い。

We absolutely loved our stay in the Westin Ubud. This hotel is new, beautiful and peaceful. The pool was amazing and the view was gorgeous while sipping a cocktail. The family suite we stayed in was beautiful, big and clean. The Heavenly Spa is heavenly and the food is the best we have ever had at a hotel anywhere in the world. We loved every meal, the breakfast Buffett was amazing. The staff were helpful and lovely, although many did seem to be training, but that was not a problem at all. The kids club is small but clean and nice for a break and play for our kids with an attached small kids pool that was a nice touch. We would highly recommend to any young families looking for a quiet relaxing area where can chill or use as a base to adventure out on day trips if you like.

Well beyond expectation. Looking at the pictures before our stay, we thought it was going to be a so-so experience because the hotel doesnt look as big as others around the area. However, our experience was wonderful! Service was flawless, quick, and friendly. Room was spacious and clean, and it truly felt like a 5 star experience. Minor feedback is on how thin the walls felt as we can clearly hear noises from outside or from our neighbors.

The hotel rooms are tired and probably 3 star standard. The humidity makes the rooms smell damp and aircon also blows damp smelling air into the room. The cleanliness was good in places but attention to detail on balcony glass, around the pool under the chairs and in the room was lacking. Staff are polite and friendly but this doesn’t make up for the slow service. Breakfast good selection of food and the food quality is good. Staff at the reception and bar cannot be more helpful. Overall disappointing.

The Westin Ubud is a visually stunning property with some standout features. The infinity pool is absolutely beautiful, and the buffet breakfast was a true feast—plentiful, fresh, and satisfying. We reported a couple of room issues—a balcony door that wouldn’t lock and a large mat that posed a trip hazard—but nothing was done for three days. This stay was the absolute best my partner and I have had ever had in Bali. The service was AMAZING. The staff were friendly and attentive, and went above and beyond - no request we had was too much. The food was delicious - every meal was very good. On our last day the restaurant staff had a special birthday surprise for my partner. We will definitely be back ❤️

This was our first time in Ubud and a return to Bali after 10 years, and we couldn’t have picked a better place. We spent most of our time at the resort and loved every moment. The yoga and fitness sessions with Heri each morning were a great way to start the day. We had deeply relaxing massages at the Heavenly Spa, and the floating breakfast in our pool villa was a highlight. It’s not in the center of Ubud and we loved the quote and local feeling as well. The swimming pool was great and the hotel provides a lot of activities which you can join :) The breakfast option is also fair enough and you can enjoy western to Asian dishes.

Very clean pool, not crowded at all (we stayed in September), excellent view of the forest. -25 mins from main Ubud markets and monkey forest, which is not bad if you want to stay away from noise and crowds.

We had a true 5 star experience at the Westin. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommadating. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast included in our stay and also had lunch everyday at the pool and alll of the food was very fresh and tasty.

The Indonesian food is delicious (the Ayam Betutu is a stand out dish) and the breakfast buffet has a wide variety of food. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The two bed room suites are huge. We loved every minute of our stay here. the staff are amazing. We stayed in a family 2 bedroom and it was perfect. Pool and facilities are top notch and so relaxing, perfect for what our family needed - a few days away from the hustle and bustle to relax. The food was excellent but cocktail list definately needs improving needing more tropical cocktails instead of the fermented ones but all in all our stay was wonderful!

A superb hotel. Spent a week here in July 2026. Received a very warm welcome upon arrival and checked in to a standard room, more than adequate, spacious with a walk in shower and bath room. Bed was super comfy and huge! The pool area is more than adequate with sun beds available at all hours of the day. The pool has a great view over the nearby forest. Took advantage of the spa which provided excellent treatment, a little bit of extra luxury. The breakfast is very good with all you’d expect from a buffet catering to all cultural tastes. The 2 restaurants are good, although you may wish to go farther afield for some authentic Indonesian cuisine. Plenty available. The staff are super attentive, always around to serve at the pool or dining facilities. Always a sincere friendly greeting. The hotel Is about a 15 minute cheap taxi out of Ubud away from the busy areas. Only minor read for improvement would be room balcony, ours was a little shabby and not so Inviting as it was very close to the main road. Maybe request a room facing away from the road if affected by noise. Overall we would definitely visit again and recommend to any wishing to visit Ubud.

The 2 restaurants are good, although you may wish to go farther afield for some authentic Indonesian cuisine. Plenty available. The staff are super attentive, always around to serve at the pool or dining facilities. Always a sincere friendly greeting. The hotel Is about a 15 minute cheap taxi out of Ubud away from the busy areas. Only minor read for improvement would be room balcony, ours was a little shabby and not so Inviting as it was very close to the main road. Maybe request a room facing away from the road if affected by noise. Overall we would definitely visit again and recommend to any wishing to visit Ubud.
