Turkey Hill Inn

Die Suite ist sehr nett eingerichtet. Alles auf antik gemacht, ich finde die Möbel toll. Es passt alles zu dem Stil des süßen Häuschens. Der Service von Maria ist perfekt. Es wurde sofort alles erledigt, wenn man etwas gebraucht hat.

According to their website, Turkey Hill Inn has been family-owned for over 85 years and is now being managed by the third generation. If, like me, you are a fan of old, quaint homes, you will love this place. It is oozing with charm. The inn is located in the upper scale community of Summit, New Jersey, which is just a train ride from the cities of Newark and New York. As for the inn, I stayed in their first floor deluxe suite, which included a bedroom with king size bed, bath, and living room area complete with a microwave and refrigerator. I found the rooms to be quaint and very inviting and while I only stayed one night, it was quite comfortable. Now, given its age, you need to go into knowing this place will not have quite the same modern conveniences as a hotel. They do not offer any continental breakfast like some others do, but there is a plethora of fine restaurants and casual eateries within walking distance. The innkeeper on duty is very nice and very helpful is also usually just a phone call away if case you need assistance during your stay. If you are looking for a charming and pleasant place to relax, you will love this inn. It is a very restful place to stay. Highly recommended!

This place is darling, a little out of the way, but summit is very cute and if you’re sick of cookie cutter hotels, highly recommend. It was very comfortable, great bed, quiet location for a nice sleep.

Heat didn’t work well. We didn’t even stay the night. We checked out about two to three hours after arriving. We did call about the heat situation. However, the heat issue remains unsolved So we decided to leave.

I had a lovely stay at the Turkey Hill Inn. Clean. Great ambience. Wonderful location. Built in 1849, it was step back inn time. Really enjoyed my stay.
