Run down hotel in a run down neighborhood. Small room. No ice machine. Had to go to the bar inside the motel, to get ice. They kept my deposit, until I called them 10 days later, and reminded them to refund my deposit. Find another place to stay.

Room was too small for 2 queen beds. One bed against the hvac unit, couldn't use that side to get on bed. Arrived in room thermostat was set on 44 degrees. Took forever to warm up. Was never able to get hot water at the vanity. The lady at the front desk was friendly and informative. The path to elevator seemed crowded with all of the gambling machines, should have breakfast for the room prices.

The service and staff of this property were great. From front desk reception to the housekeepers, everyone was helpful and friendly. There were events in town that inflated the price for the rooms, but it didnt seem like anyone was there. With that being said, the price for such a small room was crazy. The "body wash" and "hand soap" provided in the room was very likely dollar store dish detergent and they apparently only have ONE iron and ironing board on the property because when I requested it, they had to be hunted down. I've stayed here before, and the room is close to food, shopping, the expressway, and good for sleeping, but I caution you, if you're on vacation and want a nice comfortable room to relax in with all the amenities book someplace else.

If you are looking for a clean place to sleep this is a great, affordable option. The rooms are small but clean and decently updated. The beds were comfortable enough. The ladies working were very friendly. There wasn't much for breakfast (waffle maker, bagels, apples) and there's quite a bit of noise from the highway but I would stay here again if I am in the area.

After checking into our first room, we realized that we had no heat and no phone. Wife went down to the front desk and got a key to another room,after we checked into that room we realized it had no hot water to take a shower. Not to mention the body hair all over the bathroom. No one seem to really care at the hotel, usually don’t have these kinds of problems at Red Roof Inn. I don’t think I would suggest this place to anyone.

The motel was run down and there were a lot of people that appeared to be using. The floors were really dirty. On the plus side, the staff was really great, super nice! They did grwat picking their staff, because that was the best thing about this place. The lobby was clean and breakfast was okay.

A second stay here. As before I appreciated the reasonable price. Room was very clean and attractive. Easy access from parking right outside my door. There is a Denny's restaurant just across the side street, and a Cracker Barrel a few blocks away.

to the room, the air conditioning was on remind you. It’s like 10° outside. It was 40° in the room so freezing and then I turned the heat on and went to sleep when I woke up this morning. The room hadn’t heated up past 66° so it was still very cold in the room. This is Illinois. There’s no reason that after they turned down a room, they shouldn’t be turning the heat on so that it can be a moderate temperature in the room for the next guest. I woke up this morning to take a shower at about 830. I let the water run for about 10-15 minutes It never got hot. I allowed it to run for an additional 20 to 30 minutes. It still never got hot. I called down to the front desk, they came and did an adjustment to the tap and then they told me that I could not shower for another hour because other people were showering right now and the water wouldn’t be hot until they were done which meant I couldn’t shower until 1030 check out was at 11. It didn’t allow me enough time to get myself fully together. This was a terrible stay. Also there were no washcloths only hand towels and bath towels in the room luckily, I brought my own washcloths

Ended up checking in really late had the hot tub room filled the hot tub to find out the Jets don’t work so basically took a bath in the hot tub and that was it also went to turn on the lights above the bed the color lights they don’t work so now I’m even more frustrated so I decide to try to go to bed after being aggravated having consideration and not complaining because I got there so late and didn’t wanna disturb. Anybody called the front desk. Nobody answered so I decided to lay down and I turned on the heat in the room because it started to get cold to find out the heater doesn’t work , so then while checking out, tell the woman at the front desk about what had happened and basically just blew it off like no big deal. Don’t think I’ll be staying there again.

The motel was clean and exactly what I needed for a short stay. The room is small and a bit tight, but the room was clean and bed comfortable with various pillow options. Internet was a bit suspect though. Couldn't get emails to send unless I used my phone hot spot.

Room was hot and AC didn’t seem to work great, but leaving the window open before bed fixed that issue. Beds were comfy and room was clean. Room was tiny, so not enough space to walk around the beds all the way, but they left some space by the bathroom for suitcases. Great location. Was a pain to walk around the whole upstairs to get from the elevator to our room, but at least there was an elevator; not every motel has one. Overall, perfectly acceptable for a cheap stop-over hotel. Would stay again.

Had an issue with the room we booked for a birthday get away. Staff was rude when brought to their attention and was also told there were roaches in the room, staff didn’t say much to say about these things when brought up and got attitude that is “wasn’t her problem and she couldn’t do anything about it”. Will not be staying here ever again and will not recommend it!

Check in was terrible. The woman who was trying to take my card couldn't tell me what was going on but had me swipe my card 4 times for 260 dollars each time it said approved so I told her I was worried about it and she couldn't tell me what was going on. It was locked on my bank in and I had to unlock it but only found out because I checked my bank. Got to room and it was not the room we had picked online there was no bathtub by the bed for our child like we had selected she changed my room number because she said she had no available rooms entered in yet. We had called before arriving and asked for early check in and was told no problem yet no rooms available when we arrive.towel rack broke off wall, my pregnant fiance sat on edge of bed and it flipped up and put her in the floor. Bathroom frame was messed up at bottom so door didn't shut. The younger gentleman who worked that night was fantastic and very friendly, he got us extra pillows very quickly and had a warming smile. Other than that nah not for me.

While I was sleeping, another guest was mistakenly given access to my room and opened the door — a very alarming and unacceptable breach of safety. On top of that, the room had a strong damp smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. I expected higher standards of security and cleanliness from this hotel. This experience was disappointing.

I loved the person who checked me in She had Colorful hair and a sparkling fun attitude I was there to spend a cpl nights as I was getting married and chose here to stay for the budget. The beds were stiff and very firm but my New Husband loced them i on the other hand didnt but was verry happy with the clean room hot showers and kind friendly staff... the lady that checked me in was Stephanie i think i lost the paper with her name on it but she was amazing !! I loved the person who checked me in She had Colorful hair and a sparkling fun attitude I was there to spend a cpl nights as I was getting married and chose here to stay for the budget. The beds were stiff and very firm but my New Husband loced them i on the other hand didnt but was verry happy with the clean room hot showers and kind friendly staff... the lady that checked me in was Stephanie i think i lost the paper with her name on it but she was amazing !! Will recommend

Run down hotel in a run down neighborhood. Small room. No ice machine. Had to go to the bar inside the motel, to get ice. They kept my deposit, until I called them 10 days later, and reminded them to refund my deposit. Find another place to stay.

If you are looking for a clean place to sleep this is a great, affordable option. The rooms are small but clean and decently updated. The beds were comfortable enough. The ladies working were very friendly. There wasn't much for breakfast (waffle maker, bagels, apples) and there's quite a bit of noise from the highway but I would stay here again if I am in the area.

Property was fine for work stay, room was very clean and had all amenities. Noisy after dark due to proximity to freeway and all the guests coming back. Front desk staff, both morning and evening, we’re very professional and friendly.

Overall very good experience. The only downside is the trailer park and storage units behind it. Lots of riff raff walking through or hanging around smoking. Room was clean and staff was very helpful. The people in the next room we're smoking pot, and it was wafting into my room at off times if the day and night toward the end of my stay. Would stay again if nothing else available.

A second stay here. As before I appreciated the reasonable price. Room was very clean and attractive. Easy access from parking right outside my door. There is a Denny's restaurant just across the side street, and a Cracker Barrel a few blocks away.

The stay was okay. If you drink any alcohol stay away from the lobby bar it is by far too expensive. They only know how to make 6 drinks and tastes even worse. Also never received my deposit of $50.

Only received maid service on last night of 5 night stay. My last night they're was yelling and loud music coming from cars that kept pulling in and leaving until 3 or 4 am. I did not find a breakfast bar, just a waffle maker and juice dispenser.

The service and staff of this property were great. From front desk reception to the housekeepers, everyone was helpful and friendly. There were events in town that inflated the price for the rooms, but it didnt seem like anyone was there. With that being said, the price for such a small room was crazy. The "body wash" and "hand soap" provided in the room was very likely dollar store dish detergent and they apparently only have ONE iron and ironing board on the property because when I requested it, they had to be hunted down. I've stayed here before, and the room is close to food, shopping, the expressway, and good for sleeping, but I caution you, if you're on vacation and want a nice comfortable room to relax in with all the amenities book someplace else.

The motel was run down and there were a lot of people that appeared to be using. The floors were really dirty. On the plus side, the staff was really great, super nice! They did grwat picking their staff, because that was the best thing about this place. The lobby was clean and breakfast was okay.

Telephone in room but no cord to the phone, tried to call the office 9 times by my cell phone the night of the 4th and got no answer neither time, brought this to the desk worker attention the morning of the 5th and it was shrugged off like it was nothing, wald of blonde hair in bedding when checked in, hotel tried to charge my credit card a little after 4pm even though I did not get their to check in till around 8pm (I have the email of prior attempt to charge for proof) water pressure for shower was very low, all 4 juices with breakfast was EXTREMELY watered down

Not a good place to stay don’t clean rooms on the weekend phone didn’t work couldn’t get hand soap when requested twice was there 3 nights and still didn’t receive hand soap turned on the microwave with the tv on power went out had to use my personal phone to call to get it fixed response was oh I have to go click the switch

It was an okay stay. Still some areas that need to be cleaned. The fan in the bathroom had so much dust on it. There was a bug in the bathtub. The refrigerator didn’t keep the our items nice and cool. When we checked in, it took them forever to give us our room. So unorganized and unprofessional.

This place can use some help. Rooms are tiny & crowded. Bathroom seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in I don'tknow how long. Just the area & people hanging around the hotel were very sketchy.
