Very friendly landlord. Excellent food and service, the Skirt Steak is one of the best steak dishes I’ve had in a long while.

Great stay. Comfy, stylish stay with fantastic views over Devon countryside. Food was delicious and the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would have given a higher score but on our arrival our room was freezing cold and took approx 12 hrs to warm up with radiators on full. After that it was nice and comfortable.

I couldn't not have spent my 60th birthday anywhere better. The room was lovely and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were wonderful and the food was incredible!

The staff could not of been more accommodating and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you for having us. ☺️

The property was dirty broken floorboards in bedroom and toilet seat broken. There was no one at property when first arrived and no one answered phone. When we checked in our room after a few hours we were asked to move as the room was double booked. We moved to another room downstairs and then had no sleep as the couple we moved for kept us awake all night. The breakfast was not up to standard and we feel we paid far too much for what we did not receive. I feel a full refund should be offered as there was no one in the morning to discuss our complaints with. We would not recommend this place to anyone.
