Close to all attractions and dining options. Ice machine was not available on second floor, Pool and hot tub were great after a day of hiking in the park. Will stay there again next time we are traveling.

Nice location. Rooms are outdated, shower faucet was falling off the wall. Original booking showed breakfast included and when we arrived that was no longer the case. That was one reason this hotel was booked. Pool area was decent. Beds not very comfortable.

Great location for easy access to Joshua tree National park North entrance. Nice pool and hot tub to treat tired muscles after day hikes. Mexican restaurant in hotel that’s very good with nice staff. They’re awaiting their alcohol license, it’ll be nice to have a cold beer with the fine food. We’d stay here again.

Decent budget motel convenient for Joshua Tree NP excursions. A/C units are noisy. In room safe didn’t function. Check in very slow. Rooms clean but fairly worn. Pool is fairly good. Free WiFi.

They embossed the toilet paper rolls! Never seen that. Room was meticulously clean. jacuzzi was nice. Pool had dirt in the bottom, but in the windy desert you gotta expect that. Ice machine was quiet. Nice stay.

Loved our room. A/C - heater worked great. Having no working ice machine in hotel didn’t work well for us. Had to walk over to other hotel for ice and ask guy at desk. There were some problems going on were he was not available 4 times in evening. Why couldn’t I just go get ice without needing desk guy to get it for me? Jaccuzzi was really hot and was great. Nice to be generous with coffee pods- thanks. Nice stay & will again.

The check in was the best we've ever had. I said my name and Clem handed me the cards because he was expecting us. I've never felt so welcome. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give check in an 11. I was super impressed!! Hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet. Bed was super comfy. This was an excellent choice!!! I would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay!!

Room had poor sound insulation from adjacent rooms. Carpets were filthy not shampooed in years. There were holes in my bed linens. Window had only a very thin curtain which would not block out the sun or prevent people from seeing you in your room at night if you had the light on.. Bathroom was clean and well maintained.

We stayed for 2 nights while exploring Joshua Tree. The hotel is convient to the entrance but is slightly further from restaurants and such. There is a grocery store next door. Staff was pleasant. On our second day, i noticed the coffee maker had not been washed. I washed it and made a fresh pot of coffee. We also didn't have any kleenex so I requested it at the front desk as we headed out for the day. Upon returning, I went to have a shower and noticed a used soap in the shower; neither of us had used the shower yet. I immediately called the front desk (realizing that several things had been missed while cleaning the room before we had taken possession). They were very appologetic and reassured me they would talk to the staff. Because of these oversights, i would not stay here again.

Checking in was a bit rocky. We arrived and took all our bags in to find a sign on the desk saying out to lunch. We left and can back according to the sign, only to wait longer. Room was not clean and had glow sticks in the room from previous guests. I feel the rating is padded

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed and bathroom were clean. My only complaint was some things were worn out and stained, like the carpet, chairs and doors. The mattress was very cheap. But overall great for the value

There is no one at the front desk of this property. We had to check in at the hotel next door. The restaurant was closed. No ice machines in the building had to go next door. The ceiling in our room had severe water damage and looked as if it may cave in. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. The elevator and hallways were very dirty and not vacuumed. There was food on the elevator floor for the two days we were there. The outside of the hotel looks very nice and we were surprised by what we found inside. Very disappointed with this hotel.

If you have a street-side room, expect it to be pretty noisy. We had a suite at about the same price as a regular room and it was clean, spacious and very comfortable.

The room was large and comfortable. The television service was a satellite dish. It was very awkward to find channels and to enter a specific one. I wound up just staying on two channels that were next to each other. The internet was very spotty and slow. The hotel seemed to be in a dead zone for my service, Spectrum. The restaurant was very simple and small. Service was a bit confused though the manager did her best. However, the California carnie asada burrito was fantastic. I’d go back to the restaurant just for that.

Had to wait for the front desk clerk to show when we arrived to check in. Hotel internet unusable due to ‘too many subscribers’. On site restaurant closed at 9pm and not open Sundays and Mondays. Rooms clean but aging.

This hotel is nothing ovwr the top, but the rate is reasonable, very clean and friendly staff. Hotel feels safe, you do need a room key to even access the 2nd floor. The room is very large and comfortable. Has a fridge, microwave, blow dryer. Large bathroom, very clean. Our room is so quiet, the ac works great. Will definitely stay here next time we come to town! Theres no ice machine or vending on our floor, but i believe the restaurant below has ice.

Nice place and easy drive to Joshua Tree NP. The staff person was so very friendly but there seemed to be only one person working in the whole building when we arrived—-had to wait a very long time as a result to check in after a long drive.

Did not provide towels or any type of cleaning for 5 nights And when I told them I wanted to leave 2 days early after paying for 6 nights in advance because of emergency they refused I told them that Expedia said if I gave 24 hour notice which I did they would honor my request, and I would get one day credit, but Oasis hotel in 29 palms told me no, even w 3 days notice no refund. I was okay w one night forfeited but they said it didn’t matter I would forfeit the 2 remaining nights

I had to call the front desk three times about very noisy neighbors between the hours of midnight and 1:00am and the front office staff did not seem to care. It took me having to say I was going to call the police for them to shut down the loud neighboring room. Woke me up and kept me up the remainder of the evening.

Check-in was simple and quick. The room was very clean and had all of the amenities needed. The pool area was nice with free towels. The view from the rear of the hotel was spectacular. Parking was free and abundant. The Mexican food bistro was economical and had tasty street tacos. Every employee we encountered was cheerful and helpful. This will be my "go to" spot near Joshua Tree.

The second night of our stay, we had very loud neighbors. I phoned the front desk three separate times from midnight until 1 AM and asked for them to please assist in telling them to quiet down. It took me calling for the last time threatening to call the police in order for them to do something. The overall experience with the front desk staff was very unpleasant, and it ruined the stay.

We had to go to the hotel next door to check in. I asked for extra towels, and none were delivered, so I had to go outside to the hotel next door to get them. It did not appear as if there were any staff present in our hotel at all - that seems like a security and liability issue. It would have been nice if there had been extra coffee in the lobby, since there wasn’t enough for 3 people in our room.

We had to go to the hotel next door to check in. I asked for extra towels, and none were delivered, so I had to go outside to the hotel next door to get them. Hotel is nice, check in was frustrating, one guy doing good but had a long line of people waiting. Woman in the back not helping expedite while guy was clearly getting frustrated. Customer service in this world needs a serious attention shift.

The room was perfect; clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were just wonderful. I truly slept like a baby. The room was quiet, there were blackout curtains, and the AC worked just fine. The hotel is only 2 miles from the North entrance to Joshua Tree State park so it's a perfect location. In case you forgot to bring anything, there's a Stater Brothers right next door.

Check-in was simple and quick. The room was very clean and had all of the amenities needed. The pool area was nice with free towels. The view from the rear of the hotel was spectacular. Parking was free and abundant. The Mexican food bistro was economical and had tasty street tacos. Every employee we encountered was cheerful and helpful. This will be my "go to" spot near Joshua Tree.

Nice location. Rooms are outdated, shower faucet was falling off the wall. Original booking showed breakfast included and when we arrived that was no longer the case. That was one reason this hotel was booked. Pool area was decent. Beds not very comfortable.

Great location for easy access to Joshua tree National park North entrance. Nice pool and hot tub to treat tired muscles after day hikes. Mexican restaurant in hotel that’s very good with nice staff. They’re awaiting their alcohol license, it’ll be nice to have a cold beer with the fine food. We’d stay here again.

Pros: staff was very friendly, especially Clem. It’s a short drive to Joshua Tree National Park. Cons: 29 Palms is close to JTNP but lacks ambience or culture. The hotel is very basic and needs updating. The water never got cold. We set the AC to 65 and it never got cold. Our refrigerator didn’t work well and the items never froze in the freezer. We could hear our neighbors talking this morning through the wall and it was a normal conversation volume. The pool needed cleaning and we saw another guest spend thirty minutes removing leaves. The pillows were lumpy and the bed was not very comfortable. However the worst part was the Mexican restaurant that is located on property. Not only was the service terrible the food was microwaved and prepackaged. We spent $51 for the worst Mexican food of my life and didn’t even finish it as the meat was cold and the rice came from a boil in a bag. The chips were greasy and it was not even real guacamole made from fresh avocado.

The housekeeping staff never did our room. The attached restaurant does not serve alcohol, and is not open for breakfast. For these shortcomings the hotel is too expensive.

However we arrived late from travel for a Sunday at check in about 4 PM and the in house restaurant apparently is closed on Sunday's and Mondays, so we were out of luck with that regard. Initially told that the next door property had a coffee shop but it was closed also. We didn't use pool or hot tub only because we were passing through, however it looked clean and in good shape. The bed was OK, the AC slightly noisy, so we turned it off. Overall Better than some, not as Good as others, but considering the price we're giving others the choice to decide on their own. Parking and security was Good and FREE.

Room smelled like smoke! Staff didn’t want to move room claimed all booked! They sprayed room 2x helped a little. Wife uses c-pap machine and not healthy to have even trace of smoke. Staff informed us one of maids are smokers but could have been guest smoking by window. Told to speak to manager which was a waste of time! Disappointed same usual don’t care about customer attitude!
