I was unhappy that they advertise pool area open from 6.30am but ...there are no towels available until 9.30/10am. No staff in attendance until 9.30/10am. Pool bar not open until 11am even for simple juices or non alcoholic beverages. loved the room, the view, lounge / seating area very comfortable & luxe

We chose the Langham for the pool/beach vibe and we were very disappointed. The pool is way to small and completely overcrowded - mostly with kids (just compare how small the pool is compared to the number of rooms in the three towers). This means you won’t have a sun-bed or seat, and if, you’ll just hear shouting kids the whole day. It takes 30-40 min to get a drink at the pool-bar. We asked the hotel reception if they can organize us access at some other hotel’s pool (we would have been glad to pay for a day-pass elsewhere), but the hotel didn’t bother checking properly. However, the hotel did provide us with cabanas at the beach (and a basket with food), which was a nice gesture but didn‘t make up for our bad overall experience. Then as for the restaurants: the Chinese restaurant was amazing, the other one was horrible (long waiting time, almost an hour to get two undercooked meat-mains - we paid, didn’t eat anything and left). On a more positive note, the room was pretty amazing. My partner and I reside mostly in luxury hotels and this one was the most disappointing experience we encountered yet (biggest gap between expectations and experience). We did a 3-week trip through Australia and we were most excited about the Gold Coast - it turned out to be the worst part of our journey.

Overall the facilities and staff were superb. The buffet breakfast was exceptional. The only weak spot was the spa. Despite being luxury premium-priced the check-in desk was not staffed, leading to long delays for both my wife and I. Also the spa changing room is the general pool changing room and was full of yelling kids constantly running through. Not a premium experience at all.

Overall it’s a nice hotel but not worth the price. Facilities are really nice and it’s a beautiful location. The day I went the pool area was very windy but the next day was stunning. It does seem it’s in a wind tunnel and sun is limited. Indoor pool, gym and sauna are really nice. Main complaint is mt room smelt a little like mildew and I expect more from a nice hotel like this

Whilst the pool area is beautiful and amazing... it doesn't have much sun in the afternoon and cast in a shadow. This can't be fixed, design fault. It's also a wind tunnel. Otherwise, all good.

The finishes on this hotel are excellent. We had a superior ocean view room, very spacious and excellent bathroom amenities.. yes the bathtub is as big as the photos in real life. The gym and indoor magnesium pool are a welcome reprieve from the chaos of the main pool. If you want to relax and not be constantly splashed by kids jumping into the pool then I’d avoid this area. The only 2 negatives we could find was our bed, being quite firm ( we are soft mattress people) and our balcony being completely exclosed, which we found very odd. Car parking is always available and high enough to be able to park a large 4wd undercover.

Service, amenities and size of room were amazing! The hotel is very new so cleanliness is top notch. There was a quirk involving a dried up used condom that fell out of our pillowcase - which was as shocking as it was amusing, but don't think it's something we could fault the hotel on and they were very apologetic.

My partner and I stayed at The Langham GC in December 2022 and enjoyed the experience so much we decided to return for an extra long weekend. Unfortunately in the three months since our last stay, there were some notable differences. The best way to describe the differences would be to say there was a lack of attention to detail during our second visit. There was spray tan foot prints on the balcony, lots of hand prints on the sliding windows, marks on the tables from drinks and an stale smell in our suite. No drinks on arrival and a gift box left in our suite that was intended for delegates, who had attended a conference. Having said that, our first stay in December 22 (same suite) was second to none. This could be an exceptional Hotel if the standard were consistent. We will head back to the Shangri-La on The Rocks in Sydney for that well earned pamper experience.

room was clean but when i moved the table to use. there was food under the base. windows outside all need a clean other than that it was nice a person from outside the resort was walking around the pool asking guests for cigarettes staff instead of moving on gave the women smokes which i found to be wrong when you are paying so much for a stay

The room was spotless and amazing. Lots of things to do to if you just wanted to stay in the hotel but let’s To Do outside. It’s an extremely clean. Definitely stay here again.

The room and hotel is beautiful, we stayed two nights- the second night was the night of our wedding and we came back to find the room had not been cleaned or made up , even after specially asking for this to be done. I had been getting ready with my bridesmaids so the room was a mess. My poor husband didn’t get to enjoy a clean and fresh room unfortunately

Two of us were here for five nights on a quiet girls/friends trip and both really enjoyed ourselves. Being relatively new, the condition and surrounds of the hotel, room and amenities were absolutely excellent. We really loved the pool and never had hassles getting a pool lounge. The room was spacious and, like the rest of the hotel, was aesthetically pleasing and sleek. Very nice shower and bathroom. We had a small issue with the air conditioner not working in our first room and they had us switched to the next one in an hour and offered a bottle of wine. One point of feedback were the beds, which both my friend and I found to be very uncomfortable. They were hard and lumpy and the pillows weren’t great so we both tossed and turned a lot every night. The only other thing is that we had a lovely ocean view, but according to the pictures, we thought we were getting an open air balcony with an ocean view. Ours was a closed in balcony like an atrium and the windows didn’t open properly so we couldn’t get the sea breeze or the sound of the ocean, which I’d been looking forward to. I’d have to go back and check whether this was my oversight and I didn’t read the description fine print, but just something to keep in mind. We both rate the hotel and would stay again. Stunning facilities, beautifully-designed room, gorgeous ocean view. Downside was how slow service was everywhere. No sense of urgency with lines of people in que to check in. The cocktails in the bar were amazing but bar was severely understaffed so it was quite stressful ordering drinks and made it not so enjoyable. The other big downside was air-con automatically shut off at 2am, so my husband and I both woke up and couldn't sleep in stuffy hot room. For the $740 we paid for the room, I think we more than covered the electricity for the air-con overnight.

It doesn’t matter how good the facilities are or how nice the staff is if we can’t have a restful night’s sleep. The beds were quite uncomfortable but the worst thing was that they squeaked and creaked very loudly with even the slightest movement. In all our years of staying in hotels all over the world we’ve never experienced such a clamour from our beds. Also, the room was hot and stuffy. The air conditioner wasn’t doing its job so we turned it off and opened the doors but that was only a minuscule improvement. For the price of this hotel it’s really not good enough. Fancy gyms and a nice pool are all well and good, but a proper night’s rest is essential, and we didn’t get that.

The finishes on this hotel are excellent. We had a superior ocean view room, very spacious and excellent bathroom amenities.. yes the bathtub is as big as the photos in real life. The gym and indoor magnesium pool are a welcome reprieve from the chaos of the main pool. If you want to relax and not be constantly splashed by kids jumping into the pool then I’d avoid this area. The only 2 negatives we could find was our bed, being quite firm ( we are soft mattress people) and our balcony being completely exclosed, which we found very odd. Car parking is always available and high enough to be able to park a large 4wd undercover.

Beautiful hotel and facilities with fabulous view of the beach. However the service was hit & miss. Reception staff and housekeeping exceptionally prompt and helpful. Bar and restaurant (Akoya) service was not consistently up to snuff for a 5 star hotel, I do not expect to carry my own drinks (between bar and our dining table( in a 5 star hotel and I was somewhat nonplussed when the waitress handed me our bottle of water to take with me on our way from the bar to dinner. On arrival at Akoya they had no record of our booking but the restaurant was not busy so we were seated. We were asked if it was a special occasion and told the maitre D it was my birthday - but nothing was done to mark the occasion. Service very slow considering it was a quiet night; food was excellent however. On balance it was a good stay but there is scope to improve aspects of the service to meet 5 star standards

Being a seasoned traveler and doing extensive research on everywhere I stay - The Langham hotel stood out to me. From the concierge welcome, taking our bags out of the car and bringing to our room, free parking, wonderful and quick check in. This was just to start - the room was immaculate, the nicest hotel I have stayed in. So much thought went into the decor - huge bathroom - rainfall shower, separate big bath, beautiful large bed, and absolutely stunning views from the room! A beautiful pool area outside with a bar, right on the beach front as well as an indoor pool and a stunning gym - which you'd be hard pressed to beat at any other hotel overlooking the beach. Also, has saunas, another fitness studio and a spa for massages, facials etc. The hotel also boasts restaurants and a beautiful high tea as well. The service the entire time was outstanding - no need to follow up on anything (like I do almost everywhere else I stay) and so attentive and staff went over and beyond. Having read through the reviews - just for anyone looking to stay here, there is the hotel part and jewel residences (apartments with kitchen etc) and have share facilities. However, some of the comments for the hotel on this page have been those who stayed at jewel residences, so please note this is for the hotel where there is a full hotel service :)

From when we pulled up at the front of Reception Concierge were welcoming and friendly. Jake the Office Manager was fantastic very welcoming along with Martice at Reception was fantastic sorry if I have spelt your name incorrect. The overall experience was AMAZING and would highly recommend.

Megan at concierge is terrible. We asked her to help us and she said she was to busy. Then the Langham car sat there all day. We asked if we could get dropped to broadbeach.as the Four Seasons and 1 hotel have cars for that so we assumed it would be okay? They said yes and will arrange for us. When we got to car once again Megan said no as it’s only for marketing.

The Langham Gold Coast is a lovely hotel. Staff are well trained and genuinely invested in taking good care of their guests. We booked an Executive Ocean Suite for two nights to give ourselves a long weekend. Check in was a bit clumsy to be honest. I had called the hotel as I wanted some nice extra’s for my partners birthday. I was emailed a n Amenities list and was told to complete and email back. I did that albeit the day before arrival so I acknowledge it was not a lot of notice. We arrived at the property an hour before check in time. Room wasn’t ready so I called out that I had sent the list through the day before and was told by the agent that they would look into it. We had a drink at the bar and then were called to say the room was ready. No amenities had been placed in the room and their didn’t appear to be any follow up. Nothing the next day either. Anyway I went to the front desk on Saturday evening to ensure I had not been charged. The agents were extremely apologetic. We then went to Tang Court for dinner which may have been the best fine dining experience I have ever had. Food and service was superb without being stuffy. On returning to our room a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates had been placed in our room. These little things mean a lot to guests. Things will go wrong but it’s what you do about them. Bravo the Langham Gold Coast team. Had a massage treatment at the Chuan Spa which once again is superb in every way. Over all a lovely stay!

Beautiful property with amazing views. Only downfall was having to get Uber to restaurants and shopping. The hotels facilities were a bit expensive. Pools were fantastic and heated. Perfect location with easy access to the magnificent beach.

Staff made this a lovely stay. Just the right balance between luxury and informal. Location is great. Right on the beach but dining options are a little limited unless you’re willing to walk a bit. Rooms are great with nice decor and well appointed. Double glazed for efficiency and noise suppression too.

The Langham Gold Coast is a perfect resort to arrive, enjoy the luxury, the incredible service, the views and the pools. No need to go anywhere but if you do Broadbeach and Surfers are only a short walk away. We would highly suggest having an ocean view room.

A lovely hotel. The bar food at the pool was very average and expensive for what you get. There was hardly any equipment in the kitchen, no bread board, toaster etc. The magnesium pool was lovely!

We chose the Langham for the pool/beach vibe and we were very disappointed. The pool is way to small and completely overcrowded - mostly with kids (just compare how small the pool is compared to the number of rooms in the three towers). This means you won’t have a sun-bed or seat, and if, you’ll just hear shouting kids the whole day. It takes 30-40 min to get a drink at the pool-bar. We asked the hotel reception if they can organize us access at some other hotel’s pool (we would have been glad to pay for a day-pass elsewhere), but the hotel didn’t bother checking properly. However, the hotel did provide us with cabanas at the beach (and a basket with food), which was a nice gesture but didn‘t make up for our bad overall experience. Then as for the restaurants: the Chinese restaurant was amazing, the other one was horrible (long waiting time, almost an hour to get two undercooked meat-mains - we paid, didn’t eat anything and left). On a more positive note, the room was pretty amazing. My partner and I reside mostly in luxury hotels and this one was the most disappointing experience we encountered yet (biggest gap between expectations and experience). We did a 3-week trip through Australia and we were most excited about the Gold Coast - it turned out to be the worst part of our journey.

On returning to our room a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates had been placed in our room. These little things mean a lot to guests. Things will go wrong but it’s what you do about them. Bravo the Langham Gold Coast team. Had a massage treatment at the Chuan Spa which once again is superb in every way. Over all a lovely stay!

Stayed at The Langham Gold Coast recently and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is beautifully designed — modern, elegant, and right on the beachfront. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and had stunning ocean views. Service was consistently professional and warm, from check-in to housekeeping. The staff were exceptional, friendly and professional and any requests were dealt with immediately. Facilities were 2nd to none and we had an unforgettable all you can eat seafood buffet at Akoya restaurant within the hotel.

I had really high hopes expectations and was a little disappointed. We had a one bedroom Junior Suite with Ocean view and the room was well appointed, great view and spacious but not worth the price. We ate at the lobby cafe for lunch which had some of the best Oysters Ive ever, but service was inattentive and slow. We went the seafood buffet for dinner and was really disappointed. Service was terrible, selection was limited, presented poorly and would not recommend. We spent over $2000 for one night in total for accomodation, food and drinks and wouldnt go again
