Excellent location close to using ferries/public transport. Many restaurants nearby. Hotel Spa, was small and basic. Sauna/steam room not working. Had a swimming pool and that’s about it Felt more like three star. On a positive the staff were friendly. For breakfast can request omelette etc which is made to order. Free bottled water provided

We stayed at Galata for a week and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is simple and beautiful, there’s access to a (small) gym and a pool and the breakfast buffet is really tasty and varied. 침구나 화장실 비교적 쾌적하고 좋았어요. 창문이 크고 열수있어 환기 및 공기상태 좋았고 무엇보다 옷장 등 수납공간이 많아 편리했습니다. 다만 욕실 실리콘이 검었고 세면대가 높아 약간 불편했으나 큰 문제는 아니었어요. 주변 음식점 및 인프라 좋고. 페리나 트램 타기 편한 접근성이 가장 큰 장점입니다. 직원들 친절했으며 조식은 약간 부실. 그래도 숙소 청결도가 워낙 좋아 다음에 또 방문하고 싶습니다.

Stayed on 3rd floor for 2 nights. Hotel is extremely noisy. Bad acoustics, noise from communal areas is heard in the room. The room doors slam close, this is incredibly annoying. You can hear every door slam. Surely there is a way to slow down the latching. There is virtually no noise insulation between rooms, I could clearly hear conversation, coughing, any noise, particularly shouting. Not enjoyable. The bedding is old, worn, and my room pillow case and duvet cover did not look fresh, in fact,the next day I could smell a stale odour from the duvet cover. It did not look or feel clean. I was checking out next day as it was short stop during business trip. The location is convenient to restaurants. I would not stay here again.

Good value hotel. Great location on a main street, next to the water and surrounded by restaurants, cafes and bars. Friendly and helpful staff. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything and at all hours. Pillows are not great either. Rooms are spacious and the pool/sauna are great too. Gym is small but ok for a workout.

Great stay at Galata's for long weekend with a friend. The spa downstairs is lovely and just what you need after a long day sightseeing. The location was absolutely fantastic, within walking distance to lovely cafes, great restaurants and bars, and super easy to walk over to Fatih (or get the tram). The staff went above and beyond. I would stay there again in a heartbeat but I would request a room on a higher floor - as another review mentioned, we were on the second floor and it was a bit noisy sometimes.

There is no spa service/therapist. No massage whatsoever. And the front desk help is extremely rude and disrespectful. They are also dishonest . Over all very poor service. I will never stay here again nor will I ever recommend this hotel To anyone. No tooth brush tooth paste or hair dryer

We had such a great experience at this hotel that we extended our stay here. The location was great, very close to all types of transportation, great restaurants and nightlife but still quiet enough to enjoy. The service here was amazing. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Yilmaz and Ibrahim treated us like family and made sure they took care of everything we needed. Yilmaz had all the best restaurant recommendations, every single recommendation was an absolute hit. Also to note, they have great showers, very large with good water pressure. Another plus was that there's a separate toilet and sink and a separate shower and sink. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to come to Istanbul.

Die Lage des Hotels ist top, wenn man mitten im Geschehen und Gewusel von Karaköy sein möchte. Restaurants, Bars und Cafés sind fußläufig, ebenso Galataport, die Promenade am Bosporus mit Restaurants und Marken-Shops, schön für abendliche Spaziergänge. Die Ablegestelle des Hafens von wo die Schiffe in einige Richtungen ablegen sowie Straßenbahnhaltestelle "Karaköy" und "Kabatas" ca. 6-10 Minuten entfernt. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und modern. Zimmer hat für Stadthotel eine übliche Größe. Einzig sollte man wissen, dass es abends und nachts etwas laut werden kann, die Fenster sind zwar gut gedämmt,dennoch hört man je nach Lage des Zimmers Musik. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, kenne ich aus anderen Hotels noch etwas vielfältiger.

Our first time visit to New Istanbul. Didnt know what to expect. Galata's Hotel turned out to be very modern and upgraded. Very comfortable and conveniently located near Galalat Tower and nearby Tram. Only inconvenience is the fact that the area is being upgraded/renovated this creating havoc for both foot and vehicle traffic. Other than that, everything is excellent!

Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in maximal 30 Minuten zu Fuß, mit der Fähre oder der Metro erreichbar. Staff were friendly and helpful and hotel is lovely, clean and modern. Wifi kept dropping so we had to re-join quite a few times. Spa and swimming pool was very nice and quiet. Location is fantastic...lots of shops and restaurants literally outside. The only bad thing was breakfast which was limited and bland. Also, we had to pay extra for a Capuccino (even though it comes from a machine) which was absolutely ridiculous. The breakfast coffee was disgusting so we had to get our coffee fix from the Coffee Factory which is literally downstairs.
