It was absolutely beautiful. My only complaint is fridge needs to be bigger and maybe add a microwave fir those not wanting to leave room The pool is to die for. I could live there lol

Accommodation was nice and comfortable. Was a long way from reception and facilities. More suited to 4WD vehicles as car access is very steep and uneven in places. Not easy to get around so not suited for older people or those with mobility issues. A little bit of wind brought branches down on the roof a number of times disturbing sleep over night. It was nice being in the bush setting but this facility is not for everyone

Quiet property. Clean and easy parking. Spacious room. Property has cafe. There is no microwave, crockery or cutlery provided. Also no hairdryer provided. Still it’s a nice place.

We stay regularly when in Avoca area. Great pool. Dinner at PUB .... 1 minute walk .... is a must .... best chef !

Reception was good & helpful. Unfortunately the place was not. It is very run down & terrible to navigate. We took a Terrace (at the top of the mountain) road is horrendous even to drive. No way at our age could we walk back up it from the bottom. The outside of the apartment was grotty and the balconies require cleaning & repainting, the grounds surrounding are overgrown. The inside was reasonably presentable but Musty smell on entering which cleared with venting, air conditioner was good. Recommend a Villa at the bottom and closer to the road if anything. Facilities (Pub & cafe) were good though. Can't believe they can charge $338 for what we got.

Excellent villa, cafe and pub, swimming pool on site, Armed was fabulous from the moment we checked in, anything we needed he was there. Also serving in the cafe his service was exceptional, we were unsure on how to work aircon Armed came within minutres minutes to help us out. Nothing was a problem to him.

On the main road into Avoca. Linked to a pub with a half decent bistro and some nice spaces indoor and out. Rooms functional and well maintained, but smell of cheap chemicals. Reception staff nice. Did the job for one night, but you have to drive anywhere (eg Avoca). I walked home at night and that was a bit hairy as no footpaths and minimal lighting. But cheap and was only one night for me

Our room was large and spotlessly clean. Restaurant/Cafe was extremely pleasant with good food and atmosphere and the Hotel reception and Cafe staff were cheerful and helpful. Overall a wonderful experience and we will stay again if we travel in the area in the future.

During my walk, the surrounding bush was pleasant; however, my overall stay was unpleasant. The staff exhibited unacceptable behavior, being abusive, unpleasant, and unkind. The premises were unclean, and I had to utilize another villa to cook. Unfortunately, it was mouldy, and I had to clean the oven with oven cleaner. The carpet was filthy. I relocated to one of the better villas out of the three worst ones. The villas require renovation, as they are old and emit unpleasant odors. I would never stay there except in a crisis situation.

This property is a bit uphill so a bit of steep walk from the main road but overall large villas, well stocked, a bit dated but overall 5mins drive to terrigal beach stayed for a weekend and no issues at all. Big rooms, good AC, and has washer and dryer.

I loved the whole setting, spacious room, balcony was a bonus, walking in the bush, the pool looked very inviting. However I found the bed way to firm for my liking & pillow very uncomfortable. Overall a great place to stay & will return again.

The room was nice, complete with a visiting cockatoo on the balcony. Unfortunately the sound travelled very easily between rooms and with the neighbouring guests up until 4am, I didn't get much sleep. Shame, because the forest setting was very peaceful.

The property is rather old and the rooms are in need of renovation but saying that they are comfortable and quiet. The air conditioning is dodgy and the draining in the old tiny bathrooms is bad but it is good value for money if you just need somewhere to sleep if you are passing through. Not a great idea if you are on holidays though as it has that "old motel" feel.

Disappointing. Room did not have hot water. Manager said to wait half an hour. Still no hot water after an hour and a half. Electrician called , possums get into cupboard and chew wires. Ended up moving room to other side of hotel to get a shower.

Good value, convenient to cafe and hotel for meals, only a few km from Avoca township and beach. Lovely area to spend a few days exploring. Felt like being in a rainforest in a beautiful bush setting.

It was nice being in the bush setting but this facility is not for everyone

Accommodation was nice and comfortable. Was a long way from reception and facilities. More suited to 4WD vehicles as car access is very steep and uneven in places. Not easy to get around so not suited for older people or those with mobility issues. A little bit of wind brought branches down on the roof a number of times disturbing sleep over night. It was nice being in the bush setting but this facility is not for everyone

On the main road into Avoca. Linked to a pub with a half decent bistro and some nice spaces indoor and out. Rooms functional and well maintained, but smell of cheap chemicals. Reception staff nice. Did the job for one night, but you have to drive anywhere (eg Avoca). I walked home at night and that was a bit hairy as no footpaths and minimal lighting. But cheap and was only one night for me

Our room was large and spotlessly clean. Restaurant/Cafe was extremely pleasant with good food and atmosphere and the Hotel reception and Cafe staff were cheerful and helpful. Overall a wonderful experience and we will stay again if we travel in the area in the future.

Such a gorgeous place to stay with everything you need in the one place and close proximity to tourist attractions. Excellent food and service at both dining options. Very affordable and perfect for families.

Quick overnight stay with the family and we were very impressed! Not the most modern villas, the fitout is actually quite retro, but super clean, neat and tidy and very comfortable. Had dinner at the pub and breakfast at the cafe and the food at both places was OUTSTANDING! Pub staff were super helpful and friendly and the courtesy bus into Avoca was fantastic thanks to our driver Nicole! Will definitely return, would be an awesome venue for a group gathering/party.

The room was neat, tidy and had all the amenities needed. The bathroom was dated, but clean and reasonably spacious. I would have liked in the bathroom a ceiling/exhaust fan, as it was quite steamy and warm in there during, and after the shower. The rooms were nice and close to the reception, the restaurant and parking was close to the rooms. The hotel is close to the beach and shops, so that's handy. Overall it was good, but for the price, it was just a standard room. The High price is for the location, not the standard of the room. I would still go back, as it's close to everything we need.

Room was very clean. Room AC poorly located which meant if you needed to utilise, the curtains had to left open slightly. This meant privacy was affected and light from outside could stream in at night. Shower design poor, so bathroom floor would get wet.
