The beds were comfortable and the location was convenient, that’s where the good ends. The showers have no water pressure, the hot tub was ice cold, the heated pool was unheated. The “breakfast” was not ready at 7am ever. Overall will not stay again.

My friend and I got there and dropped our bags off and then immediately left to go get dinner because we were starving after driving 4 hours. We got back and noticed the room was very dusty, the bathroom mirror had something smeared on it, and paint was peeling off of the walls. We looked at the pool and it quite literally looked like milk. We decided to go visit the hot tub and when we got in there we were met with blood stains on the chairs, a luke warm hot tub, and the jets wouldn’t turn on. I called the front desk and all they could say was that there was nothing wrong with the hot tub and it was fine. Later on, we rented a room somewhere else and checked out early and eventually they did admit to us that the hot tub was inoperable. They also told us that they “couldn’t possibly clean the pool everyday.” While I was there talking with them, 3 people came to the lobby to complain about various things. I was issued a refund but was pretty sternly told not to mention the hot tub or pool issues in my review and that apparently customer satisfaction doesn’t really matter to them. I do not recommend this hotel and I will never be going back.

We've stayed at this property before, under different ownership and had a great experience. This time the pool was closed, and the spa was broken. About 9:00 pm the cable went out. The staff was not helpful at all. Thankfully Expedia helped us get a discount. We will not stay there again!

I booked this hotel while attending a wedding, and to be able to swim/hot tub after a 6 hr drive + breakfast. The pool was green (no swimming), the hot tub had no bubbles (staff said this tub doesn't do bubbles), and breakfast was a banana & juice. Nope, not for $200 a nite. I asked to check out Fri nite to go elsewhere Sat & I was told they would still charge for the full $200 per nite because of no 24 hour notice. Rediculous. For a Travelodge/Wyndham I was quite disappointed. The Driftwood Resort was much nicer for less and on the beach where the wedding was at!

The 2 biggest downsides are that the parking lot is too small and shaped strange our 1500 short bed truck didn’t fit appropriately, the second is that the rooms don’t have A/C, so with the humidity and heat it was miserable.

4 night stay. Hot tub was broken the entire time. The water was barely warm and the jets did not work. We still tried to sit in there for 45 minutes fiddling around to see if it would work, as we walked all the way there in the cold and we booked this hotel primarily for the hot tub. It was dark and spooky over there and no directions for the changing area at all. No towels. You only get two towels in your room and you have to go to front to ask for more when these two are dirty, very inconvenient and made me feel like we are thieves not a hard working family with morals. Just give us 4 towels people are not trying to steal your towels it just takes away from having a good experience. Not only that but I felt ill the day after using hot tub and sensed slight pain two days after and went to urgent care where they detected small traces of bacteria in my urine. Haven’t had that in over 15 years. The hot tub area looked very dirty and not taken care of at all. The roof was leaking water all over you. It was not romantic not cute and totally gross. I advise to just remove it altogether as it’s posing a health hazard for guests. The rooms are very clean and semi updated and spacious. I really enjoyed our room a lot! I say just steer clear of the hot tub. This location can be noisy due to the highway. The grounds are clean and well kept for the most part. I did not feel it was worth the nearly 88 dollars a night.

Small parking lot hard to get my truck in front of my room being handicap makes it harder

The hotel staff were kind and welcoming, and the room was large and clean. There were some maintenance issues in the room and on the property that degraded the experience. A towel rack was ripped out of the wall, the hair dryer fell off the wall, the pool and hot tub area had paint peeling around the concrete. The pool was closed for maintenance. The hot tub worked the first night (although the jets did not work), but the second night it was cold.

Hot water never worked. Reported problem, told it had just been reset, and to wait a half-hour. No hot water, even the next morning. Big hole in the sheetrock, scarred up doorways and furniture. Dirty coffee maker inside room. Bananas and granola bars in lobby for breakfast.

Room was not cleaned, bathtub was dirty, floor was dirty, fridge was really dirty and had left over food and spills from the guests before us. Ants crawling all over the floors. Breakfast was a bowl of fruit in the lobby so I wouldn't say they had free breakfast.. There was barely anyone in the office when you went down. The only thing good was that the beds were comfortable. Would not stay here again. Terrible all around.

Our first room had a melted fridge and our second room had a dirty towel hanging in the closet as well as the bathroom light and fan fixture hanging from the ceiling as well as just a filthy floor

Our room was not very clean. In addition, the hand/body soap (container on the wall) in both the sink and the tub/shower were completely empty. It is clear that housecleaning is not much. In addition, the room was very noisy with street traffic all night long. If you need a quiet place to sleep, look elsewhere. FYI- when I tried to inform the front desk of the cleanliness and soap situation so the next guest would not experience the same issues at check-out, no one came to the front desk from their room area despite the bell.

The room was dirty and infested with ants. We asked the front desk to please have someone come clean our room because it was dirty when we checked in, trash full, trash on the table, hair in the shower etc., nobody came. We asked for them to please do something about the ants in our bedding, nobody came to change the sheets…the floor in the shower was so soft that I was afraid I would put my foot through it. They gave us two towels for a family of 4…worst hotel experience of my life.

I paid 305 for two nights in a king size bed and was pretty disappointed. The grounds were dirty with garbage and the pool foot washing area had broken missing tiles. The room was ok but needed better lighting. The bath tub was terribly stained. They had a homemade curtain over one window that was really tacky. It was clean enough to stay in but I expected better for the price I paid.

Bathroom wasn’t cleaned. Toilet was sanitized but the floor was sticky and had hair on it. The shower had hair in it and blobs of shampoo or conditioner on the walls.

Property is worn down. Tub and sink did not drain. No air conditioning and too close to a very busy road to have windows open. Bathroom floor had hair and dirt along the edges, cleaned the whole room with Lysol wipes as soon as we checked in and the wipes were quite dirty.

I really like the family that runs this place and they keep it very clean. The beds are comfortable the water is hot and it's probably the best place in Florence that's on the cheap. However there was no internet. I called the front desk and she reset the modem but there was never any signal. They had technical issues with that. Otherwise fine

We needed wifi (no phone service) but it didn't work, the signal was too weak to reach our room and we heard all kinds of excuses from the staff instead of an apology. The hotel and the room were not clean, not terribly dirty, but looked like an average surface clean was performed, I could still see hair everywhere and dirty floors. The bed was good. Sound isolation between units is poor, I heard people all throughout the night, even with windows closed. And some neighbor had their TV going all night. The area of town was not the best, but seemed safe enough. Hot tub is advertised but only open from 3:30 and the jets are not working. Breakfast was basically coffee (no decaf), juice from a machine, some sad looking fruit and granola bars. Nothing we would consume unfortunately. But we're pretty picky. Overall it was below expectation, and we weren't expecting much.

We payed 167.00!!! for a room with no air conditioning and two spotlights outside that shined through a window with no blackout shades. It was like sleeping in a room with the light on. Shame on Wyndham for using its name to support such an accommodation. 167! Shame, shame, shame . . .

We arrived at this property for them to tell me that we had to pay an additional $800 plus dollars as it was not paid through Expedia. Well after three people looking it over telling me that I did not know how the system worked and that I must pay to have the room, a fourth person comes out and said that I had paid but it was pending with Expedia until I checked out. So they almost charged me double the rate. To say the least I was very frustrated. I also had a manager refuse me towels for our room on the second night because he said I had already taken ten others (I had not) come to find out that he only had a description of a heavy set woman taking towels to the pool. Yes tam on the thicker side but so are a lot of other people and the towels were not for the pool they were for our room to take a shower. Over all this was a disappointment from the start. We do not recommend nor will we stay with them again.

This motel was poorly ran. We had to wait to get checked as there was no staff, when I went back later I waited 15 minutes and finally left

We arrived late and the door was locked. I had to call the property to get the guy to come out of the office to us. He wouldn't unlock the door and let us inside. I had to speak to him through a drawer, where we exchanged information and I could barely hear him. The hot tub was being worked on, which would have been nice for the website to state that and the breakfast consisted of coffee, bananas, and oranges. It was fine to sleep but expected a little more.

We requested a ground level room due to disability and did not receive it. We were told that we should have requested it, I explained that we had when we checked in online the previous day, he said that since we were the last ones to arrive that night we had to be upstairs. The floors have been replaced with LPV which is nice, but they were filthy. On a positive note the bed was comfortable!

From check-in to check-out the staff was friendly and helpful. Location is convenient with a nice bike path behind the units, perfect for walking dogs away from traffic. Next door is nice Doughnut shop, across the street is a great coffee hut, and just to the right of the hut is one of our favorite mexican restaurants in town and a new found favorite Japanese restaurant with amazing sushi.

Property is close to stores and dining options. It is on the highway close to a major intersection so there is traffic noise throughout the night. My biggest complaint ead that there were 2 of us and only 1 set of towels in the room.

Centrally located and in walking distance to pretty much everything

Seem to be a lot of transient people around the property Didn't feel to safe being out side the hotel areas.

Clean and mostly renovated. Homeless around it was a little scary for a single lady. Quiet and close to where I had to be. Would recommend.

The property was extremely clean. Noise from traffic was the only real complaint as I’m a light sleeper.

Hotel is very similar (a tad upgrade) than the other Travelodge we stayed during this trip. Location is in a dark area at night, especially when the strip mall’s stores nearby are closed. Not worth the money we paid. Stay away grom this hotel

It's an OK bare bones place. Nothing remarkable and $25 per night for our dog seemed excessive. No breakfast was disappointing.

Just passing through. Good for overnight. Breakfast is poor like everywhere else on west coast, but this was only coffe, bananas, oranges and some cereal bar. I would definitely love to drink at least some juice and get some toast with cheese for more than 100USD per night :) So little bit overpriced to me.
