Overall the stay was decent, the parking was not the best, small crowded parking lot, room was simple and clean

The pool & hot tub do not work.. U should take that off the website

All in all a decent place to sleep. The bed was comfortable. The pool didn’t open till noon and closed at 10pm. Which was annoying. My only suggestion would be to open the pool earlier.

Rooms had a weird smell, and advertised heated indoor pool which was the main reason we booked this hotel and the pool is no way heated. The kids barely wanted to get in because it was so cold.

Family run smaller hotel with good customer service. Pool & hot tub were great and clean. Room was clean and comfortable.

Very comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. Slept like a baby. Rooms are spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Decor wouldn’t win any prizes. But…. I would stay here again!!!

I don't know about the other rooms, but the family suite was essentially outdated mobile home quality with some fresh paint and poor cleaning. I'd rather not be critical of the nice Indian couple running this hotel, but potential guests need to know what they're getting. There were Dorito chips under the bed, spittle on the mirror, stains on the sheets, and slime on the bed skirting. Cheap hotels have their place, but this one wasn't cheap - nor was it fully cleaned.

The pictures of the room online were much different than the actual room we stayed in. Our room looked very old and paint stains on old carpet. Kinda gross looking! The staff was very nice upon arrival. Upon entry we found a brown stain on the bed overlay blanket, toothpaste spots on the faucet, soap scum buildup and residue in the shower, and one bed that was noisy and almost as hard as cardboard with the other being caved in the middle and semi soft. I saw notes and reviews about comfortable beds and thought it was a joke after our stay. The door was so squeaky noisy to the bathroom so that if you got up to use the restroom in the middle of the night you’d wake up your partner. Next door neighbors were loud and up til late hours making it hard to get to sleep which was beyond the owner’s control but this could’ve been remedied with posted signs or reminders to occupants when quiet time begins. As far as location goes it wasn’t bad but I thought from the description it would’ve been closer to the touristy shopping district. Parking was very limited and crammed tight btw. We didn’t get to visit the pool so we cannot comment on that one, but seeing the room the way it was we were afraid to go there. I was embarassed a little that I had to pay $140 for what seemed like a $60 room to be fair on the condition and quality of our stay. I wish I had made arrangements elsewhere. Never have I been so embarassed of a reservation. My honest review.

There was hair and trash in the shower. There was so much chlorine in the swimming pool that it bleached our clothes. The floor in the room was so dirty that our feet were black walking on it. There was a charge for an extra person, which I didn't understand because when we booked we said two adults and two kids. When I tried to talk to the manager about it, just to let him know about the swimming pool and the cleanliness of the room, he blew up and started yelling at me. Very defensive I couldn't even finish letting him know, and I wanted to let him know that the bed was very comfortable and that we slept very good but that's irrelevant at this point don't stay here if you value a nice hotel

For an older motel, this place has all that we need...comfy beds, clean bathrooms, plenty of room, fridge and microwave, good TV, Wi-fi and really nice managers. We stay here often!

The motel is an older one but has been nicely updated. The staff are very nice. It was extremely clean and I am picky about that. It was very quiet. I will stay there again.

The gentleman who checked us in was effective but not informative or terribly friendly. Older, could use some upgrades. Noisy, could hear all the people beside and above our room. Bring earplugs.

The room was good. It is an economy hotel that is a bit older, may want to put in stronger fan in the bathroom, fire alarm kept going off when showering. Shower head is very low, good water pressure though. Room was clean and well put together. The parking spot on the end at room 111 needs to be bigger, very hard to pull in when another vehicle is next to it. Beds are comfortable, could use a pillow upgrade however they weren't bad. (I am picky about pillows) would be nice to have the pool and hot tub open in the morning for early risers. The pet fee is a bit high, especially for a long stay. Staff were kind and courtious, also had a sense of humor, that is greatly appreciated. Overall would reccomend for a budget friendly option that is in a fairly quiet area, road noise at times.

I dislike no local news and all old channels.. And bad wifi

The room was somewhat renovated; however, there were some small things (painting baseboards, touch up) that could have been done. The mattresses were so nice. Slept so good.

The room was clean-ish. My overall impression is that it's kind of grimy. Stained and dented/torn furniture and appliances. The carpet cleanliness is extremely questionable. It was quiet, though. And the young woman at the registration desk is very sweet. The wifi is poor. They need anti-slip mats for the tub. It was inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for.

The property and the room were run down. The room smelled heavily of deodorizer. The shower was clogged and maintenance came to fix it but left dirty boot prints all over the bathroom. The towels were super cheap and thin. The mattresses were old and sagged. As I was loading my car, I went back up to my room to discover I was locked out and the key cards were deactivated 15 minutes BEFORE check-out time. I walked to the front desk and kindly told the man I was locked out. His response was “yes, you’re late!” as he reactivated my card so I could get the rest of my belongings. Quite rude. We stayed two nights and will never stay again.

I was not expecting much from the Economy Inn aside from clean sheets and a roof over our head. When going through the check in process I was asked about pets. I let them know I did indeed have one. The person at the desk immediately started yelling at me telling it was all my fault and there was nothing they could do for us. Reading some other reviews after the fact, it seems they are quite aware that on summer weekends you are completely at their mercy as nothing else in town will be available. I was told the whole thing was all my fault. I looked back through the booking and it said pet friendly. I do see some other rooms are specifically listed as pet friendly or not. There was nothing of this sort in my booking. They then tried to double charge for the pet, but fortunately I caught them on this. They asked if I would be willing to move rooms the next day, I told them I was not a fan of the idea, but would discuss with my partner. We got a bit of a late start the following morning and hear nothing of it until I went to get something I forgot in the room and discovered they had locked us out. When I inquired about it I was told “You move rooms now”. They had my room keys at this point, scanned them and refused to tell me what room they were for. In the end my hopes for clean sheets and a roof over our head weren’t met as the top quilt had a very clear stain on it. It wasn’t until the next morning we noticed a large yellow stain on the sheets themselves.

The property seems recently remodeled. Bedroom and bathroom spotlessly clean. Appliances all worked. The price was reasonable. But I want to rave about the pool and spa!! I nearly always book at properties that have a pool, so I can get my laps in before or after my day of travel/appointments. But THIS modest little family-owned motel had the cleanest, nicest, most perfectly maintained, warm, indoor pool I have experienced in many years. And the spa was also perfectly clean and just the perfect temperature! Also, the staff took care of all my little inquiries promptly and courteously. Although there is no breakfast, there is in-room coffee, and there are several reliable restaurants nearby (our favorites are Chen’s Family Dish, in walking distance, and Venny’s Cafe, top-notch Mexican -great breakfast, lunch, and dinner) The motel is easy to reach on Hwy 101, and you can easily get to the beach, stores, or Hwy 126 to Eugene. We will recommend this motel to visiting friends and family (and stay here again, ourselves).

The customer service from the managers/owners was very rude when I was expressing my issues, no warm water, bed was previously slept in bedding wasn't changed,there was mold that they painted over. I had a horrible experience

First, we paid a hefty amount to stay here. Upon arrival, check in was quick. We got to our room and it wasnt so good. There was what looked like mold in the bathroom, the bath tub didnt drain and there wasnt much hot water, it only got luke warm. We couldnt really use the pool because the owner was throwing a party. They said we could use it *it was marked closed* then when we went in there was food tables out and the management said we could only use half the pool, had to be quiet and couldnt even splash. The hot tub wasnt even an option. We paid for the pool and couldnt even use it although we got told we could. I plan to get a partial refund and speak to my lawyer about getting it all back. Verg disappointed. Do NOT recomment staying here. It needs to be inspected and shut down until its up to parr. Pay your money elsewhere.

When we showed up we hadn't gave too much thought about staying on the ground floor. The receptionist had no problem with giving my wife and I a ground floor room as she is recovering from an injury. Super nice people. Highly recommend

The property itself was what you would expect of a hotel. All the things that you need for an overnight stay, and there's restaurants nearby for breakfast. There wasn't anybody except for one other car. For whatever reason, I guess to make it easier for the cleaning staff, they put us right next to them when we could have enjoyed peace and quiet in another area of the hotel. I guess I understand. The hot tub had way too much chlorine in it, and I had some difficulty operating the temperature control settings because it needed to have the system reset. After asking at the front desk a couple of times, and having him tell me how it's supposed to work instead of coming to look at it, I ended up just Googling it and working it out myself. The few of things mentioned here are the reasons I gave four stars in some areas. The cleaning lady was very nice I liked her very much. Overall, meh. It's a place to lay your head.

Location was convenient and close to where we needed to be. I had gotten there late so couldn’t enjoy the pool/spa. Besides that, the place was good, room was bigger than expected

Very nice place. Exterior is brown and nothing special. Rooms are very nice, large and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is also an indoor heated pool and spa. Set back off the road and quiet.

Great property with a comfortable bed. This is an older property but nicely kept up and clean. We would definitely stay there again. They do offer a small continental breakfast in the office with bagels, muffins, and coffee. Guessing owner operated? Nice family. It's a comfortable place to stay, no frills.

Plenty of parking, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker made the stay so much better because we didn't have to go out for food or drinks. Nice pool, older buildings, but very clean. Just a couple of miles to Old Town, about .5 to Fred Meyers, about 1mile North to beach access next to Driftwood Sores.

Old building. No breakfast. Good cheap option for minimal requirements.

My best friend and I pulled into the motel and could just tell it was going to be bad. Checked in and asked about continental breakfast which was advertised, hotel greater stated maybe fruit and coffee. So we had a second floor room which was very hard on me since i have multiple back issues. We were not told about the second floor and it upset me. So get to the room it smells horrible, there was a window to open. When we opened the window, we discovered the screen was bent open, caused alsrm in me. All i could think about was having someone break in. So the room had a carpet which was disgusting no barefoot here. No bedbugs, we checked! There was a long hair on the toilet seat. The microwave had a dirty napkin in it. Shower according to my friend was ok. Beds were very uncomfortable. So when we checked out my friend went into the office to get coffee. There was only decaf in our room. The coffee was horrible and she reported there was no fruit or pastries. Ovall i give this motel a one and maybe a half stars. Certainly got whet we paid for. Pictures on the website are not really accurate, or at least not our room.

Less than basic breakfast but the pool and rooms were great!
