Stayed for 4 night's on a very good black Friday deal via Trip Advisor. Centrally located near the Ala Moana mall with access via a skybridge through the Macy's parking lot, with many eateries & stores. Rooms were on the small size, but a comfortable mattress. Had to request additional pillows (none in closet or additional blankets) since they were on the small size. Large size chair serves as a pull out single mattress. Fridge, coffee maker & microwave included. Pool & fitness room access on 4th floor via Kona Tower or 3rd floor via the Waikiki tower. Free pool & beach towels, as well as free covered cabanas too. A free map would've helped to navigate to/from Skybridge. Lobby chairs & sofa were too soft, which made it difficult to rise. Water bottle filler near elevators is an added amenity. View from the 36th floor of the Waikiki tower is breathtaking. Walking distance to the Magic Island park. Fifteen minute walk to Walmart & Sam's Club. Friendly & courteous staff. Several times calling front desk resulted in automatic disconnections.

It was our second time staying at Ala Moana hotel and it didn't disappoint us. With its perfect location, impeccable housekeeping service, helpful and friendly staff and authentic atmosphere it was the perfect choice. Not to mention that far cheaper than the similar category Waīkīkī hotels (including parking fee). The only minor inconvenience was that the laundry facility on the thirteenth floor was out of service during our entire stay, only two machines were available on the sixth floor.

It's a huge hotel across from Ala Moana Beach. Our room was supertiny, with partial ocean view. The pool area is nice, but there is no any food or drinks are allowed, and no pool bar is there. Convenient location next to the shopping mall with plenty of food choices.

The room was pretty accurate to the picture on the site. The pool area was actually way nicer than what was pictured so that was great. There is a sky bridge that takes you to the Ala Moana Center Mall which turned out to be a wonderful bonus! Breakfast at Cafe 410 was alright but we preferred going to the Liliha Bakery at the mall. Service was better and the food was AMAZING! I can’t say there was anything exceptional with the service from the hotel staff but overall, a nice stay and reasonably priced for the location.

Rooms could use an update, but the hotel itself was lovely. The pool had odd hours (closed at 7pm) so I didn’t get an opportunity to try that. Staff was attentive, helpful, and kind.

The property was great because it was connected to the Ala Moana Mall and had a beautiful lobby and restaurants. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. However, the laundry room was like we took a time machine back into the 90s with old machines and dispensers for detergent. It was anything but clean as well. The room where we stayed looked like it had been updated lately, but the windows were so thin (maybe single-pain) that the street noise from the fifth floor was so loud that it kept us awake at night. The bathroom looked clean, but we had hair on the counter, and it smelled like stinky feet.

Rooms were clean. Checkin was easy. Friendly staff. It was conveniently located near the mall with many dining options. Beautiful view of the city and ocean from our balcony. Pool water was cold and there is no hot tub.

The host has their cleaner only just finish what they called cleaning 2 min after we arrived at the room we had to wait outside in the hallway to only get in and find hair on the towels I made a complaint about this and then I decided to check the sheets and they also had black hair on them bed was so uncomfortable we woke up with sore neck and back everyday it was horrible I made another complaint about the sheets and they accused us of laying in the bed when we literally just got there dying to have a shower and had to wait for the cleaner to go downstairs wash the towels and sheets again because they didn’t have a spare set of towels or sheets to give us this was such a bad way to start a vaycay I had to go to target and buy my own towels just so we can have showers after a 10 hour flight I asked for a one night refund on our stay which I think was reasonable and I’m yet to hear back from them still I called them that many times and no one would get back to me it’s ridiculous will never book through LSI resorts again I’ll stick to booking directly through the hotel with better services and cleanliness

What looked like pubic hair shavings on bathroom floor upon check in. Lots of em. Front Desk manager Polly was unwilling to do a room move or some kind of compensation. Not even an apology. The hotel is okay. I would consider it for business travel but for a holiday there are many other nicer locations closer to walkable, fun areas (eg Waikiki). We encountered a bed bug in our room and immediately reported it to the manager. We wanted to check out and move to another hotel for our remaining two nights but the hotel would not refund as we booked through Expedia. They moved our room and cleaned our clothing which was appreciated, however not a satisfactory resolution. I’ve been awaiting a response from the manager and Expedia for over a week now on the status of the refund. Lesson learned regarding booking through third party sites.

This is a wonderfully located hotel, right next to the Ala Moana shopping center. The pricing (room and parking) is on par with other Hawaii hotels. The hotel rooms are clean, but a little on the smaller side. The room that we were in look like it was remodeled, as there was no black mold in the bath area.

Pro: location, parking garage, soft bed and clean linen and quiet stay if you're on the higher floor. I was on the 21 floor during my stay and it was a peaceful stay. Con: dated hotel that need to be renovated. The room was dated and bathroom smelled moldy. There were fingerprints on the suite door and sliding glass door. The counter, side table and tv remote was dirty when I wiped it with a wet wipe it came away brown. There are stains on chair cushions and the walls. I will not be staying here again. It's disappointing to see the cleaning quality has dropped so drastically after the pandemic.

We LOVED everything about this property!!we were in town to see our daughter who lives in Honolulu. We were on the 31st floor with a great view of the city and the ocean. Our room was clean and quiet. Sitting on the lanai each morning and evening was just lovely. The pool area is clean and quiet and has comfortable cabanas for relaxing. We could walk to Ala Moana beach area, and the nearby Ala Moana mall was convenient for food, shopping, and has a Target to grab incidentals. We were in the Waikīkī tower. The Starbucks is conveniently located in the lobby. We grabbed coffee each morning and walked around Ala Moana and Waikiki. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again! While self parking is 39.00 a night, it’s the same as every other hotel in the area.

The room was very outdated and not so clean the bed had 2 pillows that was like so worn out it was flat when you lay on it. There was a pullout chair that was so dirty from being used it looked like it doesn't belong in there no bags for your dirty laundry no ice machine on the floor it felt like it was a waste of money I must say that the Valet crew had the best service overall.

So disappointed…. Stayed here 15 years ago and loved it…. The room was generally dirty with the bathroom floor needing moping and the carpet vacuuming. No stationary/ pen, no slippers , no robe, softest mattress we have ever felt in a hotel and the closet doors were so moldy that one would not slide? Room we were in was very small. When you open the bathroom door, it's about an inch from the toilet. Beds were comfortable and room was generally clean but felt lacking given the price we paid for an October stay.

Check in was a nightmare! Over 100 guests waiting after two international flights came in at the same time. It took 40 minutes. They did, however, provide fresh baked cookies for guests in line. Rooms need updating. Stains on carpet a d old furniture. No writing tablet or pen. Service was very friendly and professional. I heard from the valet guys that they are doing renovations on a floor by floor basis. It needs it.

This is my go to hotel when I am in Hawaii. 4th time this year for business and 3 of the 4 times were at this hotel. Love the location, amenities, and staff. Especially Mel from the housekeeping team. Took great care of us and always provided a friendly smile and making sure we were taken care of while staying there. Cant wait to see the renovations to the room. I will be back!

Stayed here 6 months and service has gone down since then. Front desk agent was condescending, no acknowledgment from bell desk as I stood there to check my bag. Property is in a very convenient location - lots of shopping and dining options.

The Property in as of itself is Great!! All the staff and amenities were great. The problem I had with this reservation was the room I was in. I did not realize (my mistake) that the "by LSI" part was a privately owned room within the hotel complex. I had previously stayed at the Ala Moana Hotel and loved it. I jumped at the chance to stay here again at a much better rate. The problem was with the room I was assigned at check-in. When I entered the room there was a distinctive "musty or moldy" smell, some of the lights didn't work and I couldn't plug in my phone charger in the power outlets. The plug kept falling out or didn't work. I tried opening the window to air it out but the smell didn't go away. After about 30 mins I started getting a headache. I went down to the front desk asking to change rooms and they I needed to contact LSI, which is in Las Vegas. After several calls I was very fortunate to switch rooms. Had I not been able to I would have lost out my monies since I prepaid for the lower rate. I wont do that again!

This tired room needed a fresh coat of paint and a rug shampoo. The shower curtain was dirty and not properly hung. The toilet paper holder was halfway off the wall and the paper kept falling off. The bathroom door didn't stay shut. There was one tiny tube of bath gel for three people for 8 days. There was no liner for the ice bucket and not even a matched set of glasses (except for two useless champagne flutes). There weren't all that many plugs available for cell phones, etc., and the plug on the table lamp didn't take a charge. We had problems with the tub, which didn't drain one night (we had to bail it out with the garbage can in order to take showers) and the toilet got plugged another night. The phone number provided by LSI wasn't answered, not even the emergency option #3. Luckily, the Ala Moana hotel manager supplied another number that did get answered, but that person was in Las Vegas. Tho friendly, she wasn't able to do anything to help us after hours. There is not 24/7 service for LSI. A plumber did arrive unannounced the following day to fix the tub, and a very unfriendly person (definitely not a plumber) came with a plunger to clear the toilet the following morning. We didn't know when/or if anyone would show up. Not my idea of customer service. The beds were comfy, and the view from the lanai was nice, but hard to screw those things up. Too bad, since this is such a great location. We've been to this hotel many times.

Check in was a nightmare! Over 100 guests waiting after two international flights came in at the same time. It took 40 minutes. They did, however, provide fresh baked cookies for guests in line. Rooms need updating. Stains on carpet a d old furniture. No writing tablet or pen. Service was very friendly and professional. Great property to stay at. We stayed in the Kona tower but I think the Waikiki tower would have been better. Rooms were a bit small and bathroom outdated but very clean. Overall the hotel was clean and in a convenient area of Ala Moana and walking distance to Waikiki. Staff very pleasant although when we checked in I asked for an upgrade as it was my husband and I 30th wedding anniversary , we were informed it wasn’t possible as they were overbooked. Swimming pool could do with an upgrade as it wasn’t very resort like. But I would definitely consider staying there again. Highly recommend happy hour at the Signature Steakhouse , awesome food and service but avoid the Pint and Jigger. Food ok and over priced.

The room was pretty accurate to the picture on the site. The pool area was actually way nicer than what was pictured so that was great. There is a sky bridge that takes you to the Ala Moana Center Mall which turned out to be a wonderful bonus! Breakfast at Cafe 410 was alright but we preferred going to the Liliha Bakery at the mall. Service was better and the food was AMAZING! I can’t say there was anything exceptional with the service from the hotel staff but overall, a nice stay and reasonably priced for the location.

The Starbucks located in 1st floor and it opens from 5:30 am! Very close to shopping area and some restaurants/food court, you can jog in Ala Moana Beach park. It's really nice, convenient and able to relax location for me.

Staff is second to none! Excellent. Great restaurant for early breakfast buffet! Room shows some minor wear, but overall is a great, convenient location. Really nice to be located adjacent to the Ala Moana Center Mall! Second time staying here…..would definitely stay here again to avoid the congestion in downtown Waikiki area.

Perfect location for shopping and walking to Waikīkī. The Signature, rooftop, happy hour is awesome-Perfect dusk lighting of the high rises there from the 36th floor. Very good food and drinks for good value. Gym and pool are lovely with shaded comfy seating.

The property was so beautiful, and the location was convenient. We booked a room with ocean view, and it was breathtaking! The staff was so welcoming and nice, they answered all our questions. The only thing we had a hard time was we asked for towels three times, and they were never delivered to our room during our stay. Everything else was perfect! Dinner at The Signature was delicious! Would definitely return! Mahalo!!

The dining facilities on site are fantastic. The rate I paid for my stay was very reasonable. The hotel was nice interior . Great location. The room was clean but very average. A bit more soundproofing would be good as I could here everything in the hall and on the streets.

While the location was mid the amenities were nice enjoyed all of the options the hotel had there was no ac in the elevator to the parking garage, roaches were seen in my room! Not able to get extra toilet paper or new sheets without charges. The power also went out for hours and we had to use the stairs.
