Clarion Pointe Ridgecrest near China Lake Naval Station

La señorita de la recepción muy amable y atenta. El cuarto limpio, es un poco pequeño, pero tiene microondas y refrigerador, las camas muy cómodas. El desayuno es básico, pero está bien por el precio, avena, cereales, fruta, jugo de naranja, yogurt y waffles qué uno mismo se los hace que son muy ricos.

Well, first when I got there to check in the attendant was “on a break“ then the next morning when I went to the desk because I didn’t have a tag for no maid service for the door he was “on a break” then when I went to check out, he was “on a break“, his name was Norman and he was pleasant enough, but he was never available three times in a two day stay was a bit ridiculous. Also the floor was very dirty. And then there was a cockroach in the bathroom, I understand that Ridgecrest is the desert and there’s going to be bugs. I understand that, but in all the times I’ve ever stayed in a hotel in Ridgecrest, which a couple of years ago was a lot when I was visiting, but I never had a bug problem. I was highly disappointed in this Clarion establishment.

The room was very clean, comfortable bed. The staff was kind and professional

While the room was very small it had everything we needed for an overnight stay except a coffee maker. There was a small fridge with a tiny freezer and a microwave. The TV was fine. Had a weird shower that looked old. Bed was comfortable and the room came with breakfast. Other than the waffle maker not cooking the waffle in the middle, there was enough to eat. Yogurt, cold cereal, coffee or bagels.

Not my favorite. Would have been nice if the AC had been started before we arrived. We got in late after a long drive and it was really hot in our room. And the door handle, lock/handle on the door was super loose which kinda spooked us. We had him switch us to a different room, this one had dirty wall (orange/red stuff dripping down them?) and the shower floor was brown with stains. Some bugs on the bed, not a huge deal. The pool looked like a scene from a movie.. a movie where you are on crack and hiding from the cops. Comfy bed though! If you’re a dude it’s probably a great place to stay!!
