Court Square Hotel Long Island City New York , Belvilla District 6 Formerly Sonder

Our experience was not the best. We didn’t receive the check in email before arriving. We had to call the property to get the email with check in code and room number. Waited outside the property with all our luggage for at least 40 min: No linens were available for the hide a bed. We asked for linens and were told we had to wait until the next day. We never received them. Stayed there for 5 nights. Never received the Wi-Fi password and TV would not connect. Asked for a later check out due to our late flight but were told they could not offer that. Room was clean at least. Property was safe and in a nice area near restaurants and coffee shops. Very close to the subway. Not terrible but not accommodating either.

Very spacious rooms, close to subway, safe and quiet neighborhood. Easy access to the building once you figure it out - the hotel didn’t give me the check in instructions until after check in. I had to call a few times to get them to send info. The building still says Sonder on the outside, and the WiFi info in the rooms are the old Sonder details. Overall, I’d recommend as after I gained access it was a nice stay!

Great location and very spacious accommodations. The only drawback for me is that the internet was spotty.

First of all I arrived to the hotel and had NOT received an access code to the front door (there is no reception desk). Thankfully another couple was coming in and gave me the number to call to get my room number and access code, At 11 pm not a pleasant experience waiting for someone in India to get me a room while standing outside. Then the hotel is right on the subway line so I left like I was in the David Lynch movie “Eraserhead” with all the rumbling. The TV was a techno nightmare and I gave up trying to figure it out. Then worst of all there were NO towels in the bathroom. And no one to call to request towels. I stay in NYC for work a the time and this was by far the worst experience in 20 years.

Please ask them if the WiFi works they will charge u and not return ur funds
