Great hotel right on the high street so very convenient for everything. Rooms are clean and of a high standard and the bar area is very nice with a good variety of drinks. the breakfast is good apart from the scrambled eggs (please get your chef to learn how to cook scrambled eggs properly, not like dried bullets).

Excellent location, easy parking, nice staff - venue very nice, room OK but a bit cold and there was damp and mould from a water leak on the main wall. But otherwise, nice quality of accommodation.

Wonderful hotel at one end of town with ample parking. The food was great. We had a problem with a radiator which was stuck on full on in our room. The manager moved us to an upgraded room. We were very impressed.

2 night country break, great location on market square, town is great base for the area.off street parking as well. Dined both nights in hotel, very pleased with food.nice relaxed bar/dining space with outside (viewing onto main st) seating.

Superb location, free parking a binud. 2 mins walk to town but quiet. Rooms beautiful, good size and spotlessly clean. Staff as good as i have come across anywhere. So friendly and helpful. As good as anywhere we have stayed. Will definitely return soon.

A really lovely Inn - bar and restaurant stunning, food was excellent. The rooms are decently decorated and well stocked, very modern and clean corridors/public areas - not so easily found these days. Lovely welcoming staff as well. Good and easy parking. Thumbs up!

Nice hotel in excellent central location with good parking. Evening meal was good, cooked breakfast a bit slow but to be fair the hotel was very busy in the morning. We’d definitely stay there again.

Great hotel the rooms are spacious and very well decorated. The bathroom had a fabulous shower and again great size. The shower cubicle had some mould in the seal which was a shame. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great and cooked to order. We will definitely return

The room was decent and spacious enough and the hotel quiet for the Friday and Saturday night stays which was great. Cleaning was a little poor though in that the bed hurriedly made without moving the pillows and towels left as they were just hanging on the end of the rail. Not a big issue but really strange to leave a room like that and almost part complete. We didn’t have the breakfast that was included which am sure would have been very nice as this was a weekend break and 10am last order we personally found a little early. Would use the hotel again for sure as good location in a beautiful little town with good parking at the rear.

I had an excellent stay at The Northallerton Inn. The check-in process was quick and seamless, and I was warmly welcomed by the staff. The entire property was spotlessly clean and the upgraded room was huge with a very comfortable bed and a pristine bathroom. Parking was easy at the rear of the hotel. The overall experience great. I would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others.

Good hotel, but, we were given a room (8) with a disabled bathroom. We are not disabled and found it extremely difficult to use and unpractical. The shower was difficult to use if you are over 4 foot.

Great stay and lovely breakfast. It was a very hot weekend and the room was very warm. They do supply a fan in the room, but wasnt enough to cool the room. Housekeeping did provide a larger fan which did help. Thank you

The renovation of this previous police station is rather impressive, nice clean decor and excellent location in the centre of town , the 2 things that bothered me were , firstly the bed , which is actually 2 singles pushed together and the fact myself kept sliding between them and probably assisted by the mattress that I didn’t feel too comfortable on ,, the second thing was the cheapness of the sausage at breakfast time … the second being much less of an issue than the first …unless your stay relies on a good sausage 🤔 the lady that checked us in seamed to be working 18hr shifts was very pleasant and was holding it together rather well . Ah there was a third issue … the coffee was also rubbish ….

Perfectly located in the middle of Northallerton, so great for shopping, Betty's tearooms, pubs etc. Lovely big car park at the rear, which was free. A pity we couldn't dine at the hotel, as they stopped doing food at 8.45 and we got back at 8.50pm. A good job Wetherspoons opposite served food till 11pm! A lovely comfy bed, spacious bedroom and en suite. All newly redecorated and refurbished, by the looks of it. Great choice of breakfast items, both hot and cold.

Dreadful - en-suite bathroom was like a public toilet with pools of stagnant water the whole stay - no idea accessible meant this? Also green light on whole night so no sleep. Lad on reception less than interested - dreadful service. Be very careful in booking here as not as it seems - it’s a pub- that’s it - A pub!

Beautiful Hotel, fab food, breakfast amazing, clean comfortable beds room was a bit cold on arrival and took a bitbof time to heat up,but, there was an oil radiator in the room. The staff are fantastic, welcoming professional and helpful.

Superb location, free parking a binud. 2 mins walk to town but quiet. Rooms beautiful, good size and spotlessly clean. Staff as good as i have come across anywhere. So friendly and helpful. As good as anywhere we have stayed. Will definitely return soon.

Nice hotel in excellent central location with good parking. Evening meal was good, cooked breakfast a bit slow but to be fair the hotel was very busy in the morning. We’d definitely stay there again.

Perfectly located in the middle of Northallerton, so great for shopping, Betty's tearooms, pubs etc. Lovely big car park at the rear, which was free. A pity we couldn't dine at the hotel, as they stopped doing food at 8.45 and we got back at 8.50pm. A good job Wetherspoons opposite served food till 11pm! A lovely comfy bed, spacious bedroom and en suite. All newly redecorated and refurbished, by the looks of it. Great choice of breakfast items, both hot and cold.

It is a beautiful hotel, well kept. Staff were lovely, only gripe waited a long time for breakfast, then cold beans. Great position for shopping. Felt friendly and warm.

A really lovely Inn - bar and restaurant stunning, food was excellent. The rooms are decently decorated and well stocked, very modern and clean corridors/public areas - not so easily found these days. Lovely welcoming staff as well. Good and easy parking. Thumbs up!

Excellent breakfast. Great location for walking to the town. Room and bathroom very clean. Staff made us feel very welcome. Dinner was very tasty and beer was most enjoyable.

As the starring system says, the Northallerton Inn was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathroom were excellent, the bed comfortable, we were lucky to have a downstairs room so could have the window open which made the room more than comfortable as there was no AC, I am not sure about the upper floors as the windows can only be opened a little within H&S laws. The breakfast was more than ample, good choice of cereals, great tasting coffee, and teapots to brew your tea, Cooked breakfast was really good, and far too much should you opt for cereals first, there were other choices on the menu all cooked to order. As it was an Inn, there was of course a pub attached, a popular place for locals to drop in for lunch and early evening dinners, we met people so only had snacks there, my husband had the mussels, they were not good, staff went over and above to apologise. I would strongly recommend staying here if you are in Northallerton, we plan to use one of their other premises in the Lake District in the near future.

I have stayed at the Northallerton Inn for the last four years and will continue to do so. Staff are friendly and helpful there is on site parking and the restaurant meets my requirements.
